“We are from Rhode Island and were in the area to visit Six Flags. Found Marks Restaurant using Google maps for breakfast near me. The food was excellent. The homemade bread was even better. Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. “We went for date night last night and the food was absolutely incredible. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the food came out quickly and very fresh. We had the bomber tots (amazing). My husband had the buffalo chicken wrap and he said it was the best he has had in a while- which is saying a lot since my husband is a connoisseur of buffalo chicken flavored anything. I had the southern style chicken sandwich and it was also delicious. Highly recommend!!“

“Nice little barbecue place! Had the brisket sandwich and the brisket was smoky and moist. The sandwich bread was toasted to perfection! The fries were actually salted (most places put no salt in fries which is a huge no no for fries). The chicken looked amazing!!! Staff was very nice. The BBQ sauce was a slightly sweet slightly smoky sauce. Would love to see more sauce options like a Carolina Gold!! Definitely stop in the prices are great and so is the food!!“

Some of the options offered from the Main St Deli menu were still on the Roka menu, but I got the chicken bowl (added the grape leaf) and it was absolutely delicious. “After moving to the area, Nosh Café and Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to enjoy brunch in Springfield. They offer a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options which can sometimes be hard to find. Additionally, the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. If you like to read or are looking for a new cookbook, Nosh has quite the selection of books available for purchase.

“We ended up here due to our intended restaurant being closed. It was the BEST mistake ever. The food was amazing! Everything came out hot and fresh. Julie (the owner) answered all our questions about the restaurant, shared her and her husband's story and it truly felt like we were dining with family. We had the brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, potatoes, yams and garlic chicken. And then Julie brought us churros for Cinco de Mayo! It was hard to pick just one meal off this menu. I wish my conference was longer so I had another night to come back and try more. Don't miss out on a great meal if you are in town.NOTE: BYOB so grab your favorite bottle of wine or liquor to enjoy.“

“I am 80 and retired. My wife and I have been enjoying Cal's frequently over the last 15 years or more. Sometime ago, not after retirement, we dined at Cal's and had an experience with the service feeling rushed and like they were pushing us to leave. I wrote a review back then that because of the service, was not very positive towards the restaurant. I must say that because we enjoyed the food, we returned again for dinner, Since then, Cal's has become one of our favorite places to eat. On one occasion' not long after I had written the review, the manager, Vinnie, stopped by our table to apologize for what we felt was pressure to leave. After that conversation, in our many visits to Cal's, we have never felt any pressure like that again. Good management is a plus for any restaurant and Vinnie, apologizing and making an effort with his staff to be sure that customers won't be feeling that again shows that the management and staff really about their customers. Over the last several years Cal's has become one of our favorite places to dine. The atmosphere is comfortable, the staff from management down to the rest of the employees are friendly, attentive, timely, and caring about both the customers, and the food they have ordered. My favorite meals are the chophouse salad with a tenderloin steak, the mushroom ravioli, the bolognaise, the salmon, and the redfish nouvele. Actually, we have, because it is one of our favorite restaurants, taken family and friends there and have always had a lot of positive things to say about the restaurant commenting on the service, and in particular, the taste and quality of the food they were served. If you are looking for a place to eat that has a nice atmosphere, a wide choice of entrees, reasonable prices, pizza, and a great staff. Try Cal's, you won't be disappointed in your choice.“

“My wife and I visited Roundabout Restaurant for breakfast for the first time, and from the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special. We were greeted with warm smiles and quickly seated in a booth. The atmosphere and level of service honestly made it feel like they had just opened because everyone was so enthusiastic and attentive. I was surprised to learn they've actually been open for over a year!
What stood out the most was the teamwork. Every staff member worked together seamlessly and made it clear that they were all there to make sure we had a great experience. That kind of culture is rare and speaks volumes about the leadership.
I asked if the owner was available because I wanted to personally compliment the experience. After meeting Candyze, it was easy to see the passion and pride she has for her restaurant. Her enthusiasm is reflected in every aspect of the business, from the friendly staff to the outstanding service.

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken, 190 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbor Beach, FL 32937 You 4 Stars (chain restaurant review) Instead of going for a quick Burger or Taco, why not mix it up a bit and head over to your local KKC and change up the routine? Yes, I said KKC, not KFC. The one my random name generator directed me to in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is 1 of over 2,700 locations across 47 of these United States and some in Malaysia and American Samoa, mainly in convenience stores and gas stations. This one beachside is super clean and, well, beachside. As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted by Ryan. He is the counter specialist and cook as well. Ryan has a fetching personality and was exceedingly helpful as we placed our order. I ordered some Honey Biscuits, Fried Shrimp, Fried Fish and some Cajun Chicken Tenders. Ryan excused himself to the kitchen while we sat and snapped a few pictures of the place. As I said, it is clean enough to pass any white glove test. I thought it would be nice if the tables had a virginal to pass the time when Ryan indicated our order was up. If a place is advertising hand-breaded chicken, their biscuits better not be the Sysco plug-n-play variety and these weren't. They were obviously made to order and outstanding on the palate. Baked to a perfect golden brown, these were warm, flaky and drizzled in honey. I would rate the biscuits at 4.5 Stars and these are worth the trip all by themselves. They would also make a great after-school/work/errand snack. Next, I took a sampling of the Fried Shrimp. This was nothing to write home about but nothing to scoff at either. The shrimp were of a good size and deep fried to a pleasing color, just missing a little "oomph" to push them over a slightly above-average rating of 3 Stars. Moving on, I set my peepers on the Fried Fish. If the Fried Shrimp was slightly above average, the Fried Fish was slightly below. The Fish had an ever so light fishy taste and as we all know, it shouldn't. The Fried Fish, by itself, would have a meager 2-star rating. This brings me to the final item in my order, the Cajun Chicken Tenders. I went with the 6 PCs, which is a good thing I did as they weren't long for the table! How could you go wrong with hand-breaded breast tenders in a savory coating with tasty dipping sauces? The Tenders were deep fried to a model color and doneness that would make Gordon Ramsay say, "Now, that's an Effin' chicken tender!" If I were just rating the Tenders, this would be a 4.5 Star review all day, every day. As it is, I'm sticking with the 4 Star until they get fresher fish. The Big Boy says, "You know you want some, so just give in and go."“

“Picks did an outstanding job on dinner last night for Valentines. The steak was cooked perfectly and they accommodated a gluten and dairy allergy with advance notice nicely. The salmon was also great! Service was outstanding and this place is like a hidden gem steps away from MGM Springfield. We even returned for breakfast. They had a great fritta for breakfast. Nothing but the gravy was made with milk or butter.“

“Although it’s a restaurant at a hotel (which usually those are mediocre), this place was absolutely great!

We had the Reuben sandwich, the Bridge22 burger, and wings to start - everything was seriously tasty. The wings were perfectly cooked, super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The Reuben hit all the right notes, and the burger with those fried onions was awesome. Great flavors all around and everything came out fresh. Definitely a solid spot if you’re looking for a satisfying bite.
