“This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Lawrence. I keep coming back because they never disappoint. The owner is one of the nicest, hardest-working people you'll meet, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and the food he serves.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and the portions are huge for the price. Whether I order on DoorDash or stop in myself, everything always arrives hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it. They're also open late, which is a huge plus when you're craving good food at night. It's become my go-to spot because I know they'll be there.

I recommend this place to everyone. Great food, great prices, generous portions, and amazing customer service every single time. They definitely have a loyal customer in me!“

“I left a bad review after the last time I came here (I had to use a different email now because it would only let me edit my review but this good experience doesn’t change the bad one). However we came back today this time we were able to sit at a table. We had great service this time. The host greeted us in a timely manner. It seemed they actually had enough staff this time. Our server Mike was amazing. He was very attentive and very nice. Much better experience. The food was great too; no complaints.“

“Tonight is my husbands birthday and this being his favorite restaurant it was a no brainer to come. He has just had a pretty major surgery which affects how he eats quite a bit and I just have to say Melissa and Dave (he was training I’m sorry if I got the wrong name) were absolutely AMAZING. They made the whole night so enjoyable even though my husband struggled through eating. They were also amazing with our two kids! I have never been a huge fan of the TGIF menu but even the food was wonderful tonight. Even if it was awful, I’d come back for these two amazing servers ANY day. “Looking for something to have for dinner we found that in Lawrence there is a cart that said: Chimi, as a good Chimi taster we went to try it.
We got to the food cart and ordered, to our surprise, the chimis were NOT Chimis but rather Sandwich Type: Leg, Chicken or Beef.

We didn't understand why they associate Chimi with meat sandwiches, which I can say was delicious ?.

I would buy again, because it had good flavor, juicy, lots of meat, good price and came out very quickly.“

“Cool place. Not what you expect when you walk in. Pretty good bar menu and the food we ordered was very good. Rumor has it it gets busy at night as there are dart boards and a pool table and it's the last place in town to close. Owner says a lot of new items will soon be added to the menu. All in all I will be back for sure. If you are not into the hectic nightlife it is still a great place to get a quick bite at the bar.“

“It was a very pleasant and comfortable visit. The waitress was great and all the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were a big group and we felt welcome from the beginning, they already had our table.put together when we arrived. The food was amazing, very good portions. The atmosphere was relaxing. We will be sure to return, with advanced notice of course. Go check it out, worth the trip. If going in a large group I would recommend calling ahead. They were very accommodating. 😋“
