“Cute local dive bar but clean with its regulars as well as pool leagues with the option to simply pay to play pool table. Nothing super fancy in terms of cocktails but atmosphere is welcoming and bar is fully stocked to accommodate any request.“

“Driving up, my first impression was that the place was closed; the windows were dark and it was difficult to figure out which door was the entrance. The signage was confusing and had two business names including "O'Leary's Pub." We went in and the place was neat and well organized although somewhat dated and a bit worn down and old (sort of like most of the patrons the average age of which was probably 75). There was also an unused stage--damned shame since I love live music. BUT... To me, the food and the service matter the most since that's what we were there for! The server was very friendly and prompt, and we ordered a tuna melt and pot roast--both were delicious! So I'm giving this one 5 stars.“

“My husband & I were visiting our daughter in Whitman and decided to try this pub. We had the best time! The food was delicious (shepherd's pie)! Great service & a cozy spot. We loved the live music too (Bob Phillips). My husband felt like he was playing his CD collection! We'll definitely be back.“

“Our group had our own room and we were early the bartender was extremely cheerful and attentive. John Brown handled our buffet which was wonderful chicken Parm, noodles and red sauce,Lasagna and sausage and peppers along with rolls and antipsto salad and all the condiments. John was attentive to our beverage and all our other needs and provided us with food take home containers. This is a great place for a family gathering and Blanchard Funeral Home had recommended and we highly recommend both of them also!“

“Randomly decided to stop in for lunch one day, and glad we did!Food: The big pretzel was great - Its huge and great for sharing. The Country Chicken Pot Pie and burgers are good and I would recommend.Parking- plenty of parking in the lot.Atmosphere - very Irish pub feels. We sat inside because its winter but would be interested to try their outdoor seating in the summer. Service was fair and we would come back again“

“When I went there, it was my 2nd day in the US ever. This place did not disappoint. Very authentic, very American, I loved it. All the screens showing different sports, the pale ale beer is extremely tasty, and the food was also very good.The staff was also friendly and attentive.“

Made our evening even better than it already was. Some had the Haddock, 1 had the French onion soup and a salad. I had the short ribs, a first for me. I seldom eat beef more than once or trice a year. Usually get salmon. Those short ribs were fall apart tender and very tasty. Yum!“

“Used to frequent the Mansfield 99 when I was younger, stopped by this location when I moved to the area and have been coming back consistently since. Food is great and better than anything comparable for price, but the service and atmosphere are the difference maker. Frank and Gillian especially are amazing but the whole staff is beyond friendly will consistently make you feel welcome and treat you like family.“
