My server was Joshua and I wasn't able to get the small salad that I originally wanted, but when I decided to get a slice of pepperoni pizza, he threw in an extra slice because he could not grant me my original order. The part I liked wasn't about the extra slice I got to eat, but the fact he even thought about how I might feel. “We were in town for a convention. We were a group of 16. I worked with Chris to set up a menu for our group. He was amazing! He made all the right suggestions and the food was delicious. “I believe it was the owner that greeted me, This was my first time into the deli. He told me he thought I would really like it and he was wrong, I LOVED IT! I tried the hot bar. For $9.99 a pound they have an array of fresh made dishes. I tried the lemon chicken, mac n cheese, vegis & roasted potatoes. It was like having an Italian home cooked meal on the fly! In conclusion, Serj is not a waiter. He is an experience. A legend. A national treasure. If Olive Garden ever creates a Hall of Fame, Serj’s apron should be the first item enshrined within.

“Spoleto‘s Continues to provide outstanding cuisine. We have been customers since Spoleto was located on the south end of Main Street up to it’s latest iteration next to the railroad station. The food is great, the parking is free, the wait staff are excellent and all is good. Since all good food requires time in preparation when it doesn’t come out of a frozen locker; the wait time can be longer than McDonald’s, however, nothing better than sitting and sipping while waiting. “Iris told us she has owned this place since 1963! She took so much care to make sure we got the food we wanted in the time we had to sit down and eat. Everything is fresh baked, woth fresh ingredients and it definitely makes the difference. It reminded me of my grandparents, the way they used to cook.

Some small notes, but not to deter you, make sure you go to the bathroom before hand because there is none here. It does take some time for deserts, because they are made fresh; about 30 minutes. The tables can be a bit wobbly, but it all has a wonderful, thoughtful presentation from the old country, as she put it. We did not see alcohol on the menu, but it was nothing problem to grab beer across the street and eat it with our wings and pizza.

The pizza was exactly what we wanted from that Greek/Italian style, cut into squares and the wings were surprisingly good. Get the garlic parm.

“In short: an authentic, deliciously comforting, gourmet dining experience downsized to take out only.
Order times are on the longer side, usually they say 40 minutes, but I'm more than ok waiting, it's well worth it. You can tell it's made fresh and with quality ingredients. They are very consitent in quality, portions, and good service. I have never had an issue with an order or had to wait for service. The snug parking issue is forgotten as soon as you walk into an always clean and welcoming place that keeps your food warm for you in case you're running a bit late. The prices are higher than your average pizza place but Typical Sicilian is far from average. My wife and I have been tasting our way thru the menu and there is no disappointment in sight. Everything, from the positive anticipation after opening the containers, to that first bite that gives you that deeply satisfying "mmmmm", is just a pleasant experience every time. I have added some pictures of a few dishes we have tried, to be clear, some are so good that my wife dug in faster than I could get the camera. My wife loves the Chicken Francaise here.
I recommend you check the specials regularly, I appreciate that they actually update this unlike a lot of places. Just last night I was a little sad they didn't have the Penne vodka with chicken and prosciutto anymore, but quickly got excited to see the stuffed pork chop that I immediately decided on and it was GOOOOOD!! The maple bourbon cream is amazing and I saved the leftover sauce for a chicken and waffle breakfast I made this morning...I might need to ask if I can buy a bottle of just the sauce! Speaking of sauces, the Typical sauce is perfect for pasta, it's creamy but not too heavy, much better than any alfredo sauce I've had. I personally love tortellini and maybe some day I'll find a tortellini dish in the specials (besides the soup I hear is very good and will be trying).
