“We’ve gotten some amazing pizza and huge calzones from here. Tonight we ordered onion rings, and grinders. The onion rings are beer battered and so delicious! The cold ham and provolone grinder I got had super soft, fresh bread which is so hard to find these days! Most places use old bread and I’m always disappointed. “I had a great experience at the Holyoke Mall Sbarro. My server was Joshua and I wasn't able to get the small salad that I originally wanted, but when I decided to get a slice of pepperoni pizza, he threw in an extra slice because he could not grant me my original order. The part I liked wasn't about the extra slice I got to eat, but the fact he even thought about how I might feel. “We were in town for a convention. We were a group of 16. I worked with Chris to set up a menu for our group. He was amazing! He made all the right suggestions and the food was delicious. We had a 9 year old in the group and Chris made sure that he had exactly what he wanted. The evening was terrific. Service and food was superb. We would definitely go back if we are in town again. “I believe it was the owner that greeted me, This was my first time into the deli. He told me he thought I would really like it and he was wrong, I LOVED IT! I tried the hot bar. For $9.99 a pound they have an array of fresh made dishes. I tried the lemon chicken, mac n cheese, vegis & roasted potatoes. It was like having an Italian home cooked meal on the fly! I am excited to go back and try other hot bar items and they also have a delightful menu of sandwiches/wraps/salads for lunch! I work in the area and I am glad I stopped in today! “I hosted a dinner party after my daughter's graduation on May 2nd. I had met with the owner, Lyndsay, in advance and saw the private upstairs area. There were 14 of us and that private space is lovely. The food was exceptional! The salads, entrees, appetizers and desserts were so good and everyone was very impressed. The cocktails were delicious. None of us had eaten there before and I wanted someplace new and different. My journey began as I walked through the hallowed doors of Olive Garden, where the aroma of endless breadsticks and the faint whisper of Alfredo sauce linger in the air like a divine hymn. The hostess led me to my table, but little did I know that fate itself had seated me in Serj’s section.

From the moment he approached, it was clear I wasn’t dealing with an ordinary waiter. No. Serj appeared at my table as though descending from the heavens—apron neatly tied, pen at the ready, posture strong, eyes twinkling with the kind of confidence that says, “I can carry six soup bowls in one hand and refill your water before you even realize you’re thirsty.”

He introduced himself with the grace of a Broadway performer and the sincerity of a man who truly understands the weight of unlimited salad. “Hi, I’m Serj, I’ll be taking care of you today.” Taking care of me? Friend, Serj didn’t just take care of me. He shepherded me through a culinary odyssey.

When I asked for extra breadsticks, he didn’t just bring them—he presented them, like a knight returning from battle with treasure for his king. When I inquired about the difference between the Tour of Italy and the Chicken Alfredo, Serj’s explanation was so detailed, I felt like I had just attended a TED Talk on pasta-based decision-making. He gestured with such passion toward the menu, I half expected him to pull out a laser pointer and pie charts.

At one point, I dropped my fork. Before it even hit the floor, Serj materialized with a replacement, as though he had foreseen this in a prophetic vision earlier that morning. Truly, this man must have Spidey-sense, but instead of crime, his powers are tuned to the vibrations of clattering cutlery.

Midway through the meal, he checked in—not too much, not too little. Like Goldilocks’ ideal bowl of porridge, his timing was just right. I imagine Serj keeps an internal clock, finely calibrated to the digestive rhythms of mankind.

But the true climax of this saga came with dessert. I was full. Stuffed, even. Yet Serj, with the persuasive power of a seasoned diplomat, described the Warm Italian Doughnut's with such poetic elegance that I found myself ordering one. Reader, I devoured it, tears of joy streaming down my face, while Serj nodded knowingly in the background, like a mentor watching his pupil achieve greatness.

In conclusion, Serj is not a waiter. He is an experience. A legend. A national treasure. If Olive Garden ever creates a Hall of Fame, Serj’s apron should be the first item enshrined within.

With that said since the reopening after the pandemic the pizza has been over cooked to the point it is burnt to a crisp, and I mean to a crisp! The old chef has obviously moved on. The last two pizzas I picked up where barely eatable. The left overs were tossed. I used to be a Saturday night regular. The pizza was the best in town for YEARS. Now it seems it’s the worst. I’ll give them one more shot. Three strikes and your out! Replace the pizza chef or at the very least get them cooking lessons.“

“Great Italian bakery right near Mgm springfield . Girl at counter was suoer helpful and even brought out my double espresso and pastry to my table. Plus I've asked countless bakerys for cannoli filling without the shell because my wife has a gluten allergy and this was the only bakery to accommodate us. We ordered our Sunday dinner from Paisano’s - chicken piccata, fettuccine with chicken, tortellini dish, etc. Everything we ordered was done to perfection. “This is mostly a carryout place. We didn't know, so we ordered our pizzas and waited half an hour and ate them at the very small tables. I asked the nice lady with glasses what she recommended and I'm so glad I did: There's a chicken and broccoli pizza that's not even on the menu and it was great! It was a white pizza with not a sauce, but fresh garlic, Parmigiana, and butter but not too much, so very nice. I loved the crust because it was crunchy and so pleasantly chewy at the same time. And what I really, loved was that the kids could each get their own pizza for less than eight bucks each! And they weren't that small either. I am very happy!“

“In short: an authentic, deliciously comforting, gourmet dining experience downsized to take out only.
Order times are on the longer side, usually they say 40 minutes, but I'm more than ok waiting, it's well worth it. You can tell it's made fresh and with quality ingredients. They are very consitent in quality, portions, and good service. I have never had an issue with an order or had to wait for service. The snug parking issue is forgotten as soon as you walk into an always clean and welcoming place that keeps your food warm for you in case you're running a bit late. The prices are higher than your average pizza place but Typical Sicilian is far from average. My wife and I have been tasting our way thru the menu and there is no disappointment in sight. Everything, from the positive anticipation after opening the containers, to that first bite that gives you that deeply satisfying "mmmmm", is just a pleasant experience every time. I have added some pictures of a few dishes we have tried, to be clear, some are so good that my wife dug in faster than I could get the camera. My wife loves the Chicken Francaise here.
I recommend you check the specials regularly, I appreciate that they actually update this unlike a lot of places. Just last night I was a little sad they didn't have the Penne vodka with chicken and prosciutto anymore, but quickly got excited to see the stuffed pork chop that I immediately decided on and it was GOOOOOD!! The maple bourbon cream is amazing and I saved the leftover sauce for a chicken and waffle breakfast I made this morning...I might need to ask if I can buy a bottle of just the sauce! Speaking of sauces, the Typical sauce is perfect for pasta, it's creamy but not too heavy, much better than any alfredo sauce I've had. I personally love tortellini and maybe some day I'll find a tortellini dish in the specials (besides the soup I hear is very good and will be trying).
The flavor palette of the menu covers hearty pasta, wood fire pizza, Mediterranean type salads and apps, and also covers your meaty dinner cravings.

Within minutes, my order of four slices, totaling around eight dollars, was served – one neatly packed to go, and the other plated for immediate enjoyment. To top it off, the owner generously included a complimentary can of soda.
