“We love Sandpiper. We love the staff, the food, the atmosphere and the convenience. As a small, local business owner, I have zero problem with their transparent pricing. We offer the same. It’s crazy that somehow transparency is being spun as a bad thing in some of these reviews. Any way I could go on and on about the cost of running a small business, but most people don’t care bc they aren’t in the arena. Their primary concern is the extra .45 their croissant costs. We are regulars. We order for our family and our clients. Everything is exceptional. I particularly love the salmon toast, almond croissant, tapos for a quick sweet, any of their counter sandwiches, grain bowl and the chick pea soup! I’m sure my kids have their favorites too. And my husband will eat literally everything there. Heading over this afternoon and hope to grab 2 of the homemade chicken pot pies for family dinner! When my mother reached end of life, their quiches were the only thing she would eat. I would grab a coffee and 2 quiche on the way to hospice and be sure she ate something amazing with me. The hospice staff was not happy with me but that didn’t phase me one bit. Because of this Sandpiper will always have a special place in my heart. This bakery is popular! Be prepared to wait, look at their menu in advance. Have a back up option in mind. No matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed!“
“Adored this place, and will probably come back someday even though I'm not close. Was a nice place to work, awesome tunes, and a really cute space. The pour-over coffee I tried was fantastic, as well as the pastry, and I like the ceramics they have.“
“$4 coffee, $4+ bagel bec, $1.50 for a coffee roll. It's dunks, so it's pretty standard faire. The location was walk in only, and not busy (two people in line, and one person waiting for their food with me), but took 14 minutes from order to pickup; that just seems like they're suffering from the same understaffing as everywhere else, but the prices don't seem low and the service was extremely slow, so the ownership at this location really needs to pay their people more so they can get more staff to properly support their customer base.“
“I first found Beantrust after moving to the North Shore. Erik, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming and he made me feel right at home! His staff is great too. They make delicious coffee, chai and matchas and the bakery treats are out of this world. The cardamom buns are my favorite! It's such a great addition to the Beverly community.“
“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Went in with my friends and they were so kind to us and told us about their recommendations. This is the best iced latte i've ever had. They also threw in a free treat because my friend couldn't make up her mind. Go to this place immediately.“
“Literally cannot stress enough how this is the best coffee in the area... maybe even the North East. Any time I have to leave town I get upset because I wont be able to have my usual vanilla cappuccino from the best staff around. We are SPOILED! 5 stars is not a high enough rating.“
“The Northshore breakfast sandwich is purely addicting and has become my occasional goto. However, I do feel that they get their counter staff from the RMV reject pile. If I'm paying $18 for a really good breakfast sandwich and a very average cold brew, I do not think it's too much to ask for a smile and to be thanked for my business. I was standing with three other customers and we were all in agreement.“
“It's so great to have the smell of fresh bread on Cabot Street! My favorite thing is the Ham & Gruyere Croissant - you can ask them to warm it up a bit for you and it's just the breakfast snack.Parking: There is metered parking on Cabot St or Broadway“
“I am very particular about my favorite sandwich places, but this one is outstanding. I usually get lunch but I got the Captain Bob breakfast sandwich and it was incredible. Everything is always so fresh and they definitely don’t leave anything out, it was huge!“
“I got an unusually good chai latte with almond milk, and my girlfriend was impressed with her flat white with oat milk. This place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and one single occupancy bathroom. I did not scrutinize the snack case, but the bars and whatnot looked vegan. I wouldn't be surprised if they had vegan ice cream in the ice cream case, but I didn't ask.“
