“I love Dunkin. I go there too much. Everywhere I go in Massachusetts there's a Dunkin donuts. Honestly the coffee and donuts are usually mediocre. But the sausage, egg, and cheese on an English muffin I get is pretty darn good. The edges are crispy and fatty on the sausage.“

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!“

“This is my favorite coffee spot in Beverly. They are always well staffed and friendly, and their baristas are consistent with drink and espresso shot quality. I’ve been here often enough over the past year that I can tell they have good staff retention, which is a good sign that they treat their people well, and I know helps with that quality and consistency.

I recommend their hot chocolate with their house made marshmallow, anything with espresso in it, and their tot bowls. Their tater tots are delicious and any sandwich can be made into a tot bowl.

I would skip the bakery items unless you have a little one, they are the only item type that I’d skip here. That said, I’d love to see babka or homemade poptarts in the case, but am happy with my hot food and iced latte.“

“Laughing Gull Cafe is truly one of the best spots around. The sandwiches and salads are incredible, with super fresh ingredients, and I love that you can watch everything being made right in front of you. They also take allergies seriously and put a lot of care into making sure everyone feels comfortable ordering.

The coffee is Atomic and always excellent. The owner is basically a coffee science wizard, and you can tell the baristas are really well trained and know what they’re doing.

The cafe itself is beautiful inside and out, always spotless and welcoming. Even when they’re busy, they go above and beyond — if there’s a wait, they’ll bring your food right outside to you.

What really stands out, though, is the people. The owners are always there and clearly put so much care into the place. You also see the same staff year after year, which says a lot about how they treat their team. It genuinely feels like a little family.
