“We are visiting from England and have been to Heart and Soul three times in the past week. Why? Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

And the staff was amazing, TJ answered all my allergy questions with a smile, really helpful, and Olivia gave us gorgeous cups of ice cream that were perfectly scooped, not always the case when you get ice cream on a hot day, so thank you to you both 🥰❤️“

“What can I say other than magical?! We were fortunate enough to host my son’s 11th birthday party in the back room (The kids loved the secret hidden entrance through the bookcase). Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. “Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!“

“Service started off great, but the waitress disappeared, resulting in the bar tender and manager bringing us our food and drinks. The food was brought to the table and the server left the empty appetizer dishes behind, for the GM to remove. The food was very good, just the mashed potatoes were luke warm.“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“This was our second visit, and it just confirmed this is a delightful Italian restaurant. Ambiance and service were excellent. The antipasti platter was huge, plenty for our group of four. All the entrees were delicious with generous portions. Our server, Samantha, was excellent. Toscana's is a great choice, whether for a large group, or an intimate dinner for two.“

“OMG Best breakfast ever. Got a western omelet and I must say was the best one one I've had in years. My daughter got the veggie omlet and is the first time I've ever seen her clean her plate! Will definitely go here from now on. No other restaraunt can will ever top this place. Good coffee, friendly people, great service, and great prices. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the best! I'm not the only one that likes it there. There was only one empty table left. Wheelchair access, handicap parking nesr the front door that makes it an easy access for those needing it. Will definitely go back there. Hard to find anywhere with a breakfast this good.“

“Great place! The fajitas are great. The atmosphere is okay too but it can get noisy. Parking can be tricky sometimes because of other businesses sharing the area but it's never really anything major. As for service the staff are nice and get to your orders immediately. A short and simple menu. Always a sign of people who know what they make well, and refuse to sacrifice quality for quantity.

I've traveled following Barstools top pizzas reviews and osteria beats each out of them out of the park.

This ain't your sloppy greasy Greek football pizza. This is a artinisal masterpiece of flavors wadeing over your tongue.

The sauce 10/10
The cheese 9/10 - for a pepperoni pie we like getting extra cheese.

The margarita pizza is the best I've had. The sausage pepper and onion pizza was absolutely out of this world and cooked to perfection. We're working our way down the menu and haven't had anything we didn't like yet.

We order pizzas well done to get a better crunch, and that forever changed my perception of what a good pizza is. The staff is also really nice and welcoming and definitely gives a family vibe.

“Wow we were in Newburyport for a show and saw this place so cool..... we got calamari & Ceaser salad and spaghetti and meatballs all 1/2 off .... the server was awesome. She made great suggestions .... my date got shrimp scampi .... so fresh and the plates are too much good food. Linda our server got us in and out so quick !! I love this place“

“We were in heaven ordering from here! So many options. I got a Buddha bowl with chili agave glazed tofu and my partner got a bahn mi with a side of spicy cucumber salad. We were impressed by how fresh everything tasted, it came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Great selection of juices too. In less than 12 hours we’ve already retuned for breakfast 🤣 They have lots of beautiful juices - we got the Smurf juice and sweet & spicy beach, blueberry mountain waffle with a side of superfood fridge.
