“We are visiting from England and have been to Heart and Soul three times in the past week. Why? Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. It feels like visiting a friend when we come to Heart and Soul....a place that embodies the name of the cafe and an owner who clearly knows what hospitality means.“

“An excellent Massachusetts wedding venue! I'm a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of photographing one of my couple's weddings at Grove. I love it so much that I had to write a venue guide about it on my website.

Everything was great, from visiting one partner in Briar Barn Inn (where they were getting ready) right up until the dance party portion of the reception.

The staff were very kind (to the couple and to the vendors) and everything ran smoothly. I was particularly impressed by how they handled plan changes: this wedding took place during the first storm of the season, so I just had to get the couple outside for some snow pictures. This was no problem though, which was great.

I highly recommend Grove at Briar Barn Inn for your wedding. This cozy venue will take care of you on your big day!“

“visited the Salem Willows location for the first time the other night, as a person with allergies I was thrilled to be able to enjoy the Vegan cookies and creme with GF Oreos 😍 delicious! And the staff was amazing, TJ answered all my allergy questions with a smile, really helpful, and Olivia gave us gorgeous cups of ice cream that were perfectly scooped, not always the case when you get ice cream on a hot day, so thank you to you both 🥰❤️“

“OMG Best breakfast ever. Got a western omelet and I must say was the best one one I've had in years. My daughter got the veggie omlet and is the first time I've ever seen her clean her plate! Will definitely go here from now on. No other restaraunt can will ever top this place. Good coffee, friendly people, great service, and great prices. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting the best! I'm not the only one that likes it there. There was only one empty table left. Wheelchair access, handicap parking nesr the front door that makes it an easy access for those needing it. Will definitely go back there. Hard to find anywhere with a breakfast this good.“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!“

“What can I say other than magical?! We were fortunate enough to host my son’s 11th birthday party in the back room (The kids loved the secret hidden entrance through the bookcase). Tons of great games for all ages and the food was fantastic! Literally everything we had was gourmet quality and up to my foodie 11 year-old’s standards. We will definitely be back if not just for the food!“

“The food was delicious here. The portion size was great! I forgot to take pictures but the food was so very good.

It was hard deciding between 5 Star and 4 Star. I wish we could give fraction of stars because while the food tasted great there are some things that keep it from a perfect 5 stars.

The meat and veggies and huge chunks in the curry so you have to spend time cutting them down to make the bites and the duck was a little dry, not much and the flavor was so good that it almost didn't matter.

So I really think this place deserves like a 4.8 or 4.9 stars. it's so close to just a pure amazing Thai place.“

“I'm embarrassed to say this was our first time.. It was excellent. Hostess when we arrived was on top of our reservation info as we had a birthday guest. Danielle our server was absolutely the best part of the night. Treats you like a VIP in her home. She told us we were getting the cacio pepe arancini! so we did! They were great. Food was great. We can't wait to go back. Asking for Danielle too!“

Parking can be tricky sometimes because of other businesses sharing the area but it's never really anything major. As for service the staff are nice and get to your orders immediately. “I've eaten A LOT of pizza in my day as a heavy set pizza loving man. And I've got to say osteria is my familys favorite!

A short and simple menu. Always a sign of people who know what they make well, and refuse to sacrifice quality for quantity.

I've traveled following Barstools top pizzas reviews and osteria beats each out of them out of the park.

This ain't your sloppy greasy Greek football pizza. This is a artinisal masterpiece of flavors wadeing over your tongue.

The sauce 10/10
The cheese 9/10 - for a pepperoni pie we like getting extra cheese.
The curst 10/10

The margarita pizza is the best I've had. The sausage pepper and onion pizza was absolutely out of this world and cooked to perfection. We're working our way down the menu and haven't had anything we didn't like yet.

Haven't had a bad pie from them yet!
We order pizzas well done to get a better crunch, and that forever changed my perception of what a good pizza is. The staff is also really nice and welcoming and definitely gives a family vibe.

She was efficient and friendly and the food was great. Only - very minor- complaint was there was a speaker over the table that was too loud for us but overall it added to a lively vibe.“

Every time I eat here the meal is delicious…my favorites are the fig salad and any of the fish or pasta dinners. An affogato for dessert (gelato with expresso on top) is a great way to end the night. We were impressed by how fresh everything tasted, it came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Great selection of juices too. In less than 12 hours we’ve already retuned for breakfast 🤣 They have lots of beautiful juices - we got the Smurf juice and sweet & spicy beach, blueberry mountain waffle with a side of superfood fridge. “Excellent food with tons of choices. The managers and staff are personable and overall very helpful. I love bringing my kids in for food and live music (they love the rolls). Chowder is fantastic my favorite starter. You can’t beat the views and the atmosphere overall.“
