There was a line out the door when I arrived, and I typically NEVER wait in lines. French Memories was really the only breakfast place around so my husband and I decided to wait it out. WOW, I couldn't believe that my coffee, our breakfast sandwiches, our mini apple pie and our chocolatine were all STELLAR. It was so good that we went out of our way to go AGAIN the day after and waited in another 30 minute line, however it was completely worth it!!! “Sometimes a healthy snack is a boring snack. NOT SO with Boxford Bakehouse granola! Fresh all-natural ingredients are crafted into a crunchy and delicious granola that is packed with texture and flavor. Somehow they've managed to preserve the crunch without the use of any added oils. I've had each of these versions and can recommend them all. My personal favorite was the muselli.“

It looks like all beans are roast right here, and this is a super simple place with just coffee, muffins, and one or two other fresh-baked items.

The owner was gracious enough to let me use the bathroom (a rare commodity around here, and it wasn’t hard to flush which, with my fragile EDS hands, some are these days).

If they have a few seconds they'll do a variety of things related to maintenance. They operate like a well oiled machine. Terrific place to eat.
