“A hidden local treasure that is worth the drive if you are anywhere near Duxbury, MA! Everything is made from scratch, the breads (and cookies!) are freshly made daily and will make you never want to buy your bread at a traditional grocery store again. Jim the owner is knowledgeable & friendly and takes great pride in his work. Highly recommend!“
“Thank you for your kindness offering to help with a same day luncheon for my family who is losing their loved one. I was told it was exactly what they needed and lifted their spirits. Thank you for your generosity agreeing to deliver to them (I was many miles away) to the nursing facility so they could focus their efforts supporting their loved one. The food I was told was spectacular! Pleasing to the eye AND absolutely delicious. Carefully crafted sandwiches full of flavor, chips, and a beautiful salad. "Perfect 10" were the shortbread bars with chocolate glaze! Chips and cupcakes! Needless to say, there were leftovers which makes for a quick bite to eat later on. Local Gem! #grateful! 1/25/24“
“The bagels themselves are delicious and so many good options! I personally like a salt with bacon/scallion CC (salty/savory); salt with honey walnut CC (sweet/salty); and a sausage egg and cheese on spinoccoli. The staff is the only thing that keeps it from a perfect review. They don't always listen well and can be quick to get the job done so the food suffers.“
“Winter lunch visitor. Second time here and have left both times with bread and bakery items because it’s not close.Staff friendly and helpful.Food great( I had a buffalo chix wrap)I spent over $50 for lunch (2 people)and take home treats.Cute little place. One can imagine it is very busy in the summer with beach goers. Here’s my only gripe: No bathroom.A sit down establishment with food, coffee and full bakery and no bathroom to wash your hands etc. Strange.I was told I could go to the rotary to use the Dunkin Donuts bathroom.Seriously? One establishment sending bathroom users to another establishment….If they are so concerned about use of the bathroom by non patrons, then have a key code on the door that customers have to ask for and change the code weekly. Also place a sign on the door NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS.Wondering how they skirt this issue, because in Massachusetts (CMR.240) it appears to be required in this type of establishment.“
“We took a wrong turn, saw a sign for artisan breads, and followed our hearts (and the signs) right to this amazing little hot spot. There were four other clearly loyal customers in line and the mood and tone of the place was very congenial. Naturally we broke into the baked goods right away and WOW! So so good. We especially recommend the sourdough bread if that's your jam. No doubt about it, we're their newest regulars!“
“I enjoyed going into the Plymouth Crumbl store. The store was super clean and the staff very friendly. The person who helped me explained everything about the cookies, the different types of orders and the loyalty program. I bought a box of cookies as a gift for my medical team and they were so thrilled to receive it. Crumbl cookies are classy (and delicious!!)“
“I was looking for custom made cookies for my sons first birthday party! I came across BlackBird Baking Co and could not have been happier with the service I received and just how special my order came out. The cookies were delicious as well! Highly recommend this company for all your cookies needs! You won’t be disappointed!“
“I first tried Sweet Sense products for Thanksgiving. What a treat! The cake was delicious & the pumpkin bread was fabulous. Nice & moist. I've been gluten free for 15 years (Celiac) and these are definitely the best desserts I've found. Highly recommend!!!“
“Definitely the best cupcakes we've ever had! We ordered 4 different flavors of cupcakes with vanilla butter cream (some were nut-free) and a 6-inch top cake for our wedding and there were none left by the end of the night. All of our guests raved about how good the cupcakes were! We loved how the cupcakes were not overly sweet which let us eat even more. Melissa and all the staff were pleasant and a pleasure to work with.“
“I went there today and I thought they were just lovely. I got some fresh almond butter and fresh peanut butter. I haven't been into the restaurant part yet but I've been into the shops. I love the fresh ingredients I can get for cooking especially my peanut butter cookies!! I did grab a sandwich.. very good fresh ingredients there too.“
“Super cute family owned restaurant located in Plymouth. The pilgrim sub was one of my favorites by far, and the Italian sub is probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband often gets a steak and cheese, which is also his favorite in town. They have also catered dessert trays for family events that have been delicious & very reasonably priced. Definitely a go to sub shop for us!“
“I am a truck driver and I came to deliver to tractor supply and I happened to go to this bakery ..Gods honest truth. The girl who took my order was so friendly and welcoming .They have a large variety of cookies and chocolate baked items..Definitely I will visit this place every time I’m in town..Requesting everyone avoid going to chain restaurants support locally operated and owned businesses..“
“Drove from Boston here- worth the drive. Almost impossible to find a keto dessert or bread product anywhere that actually tastes good- until I came here. The bagels are amazing and pretzels. Also love the products on the shelves- cereals and drink mixes! Will def be back and recommend you to others Very good customer service and beautifully decorated Thank you!“
“Took the hollow chocolate class. Very informative, interesting, and fun. I have ordered from lorraine's for years, but this is the first time I have been close enough to visit the store. Very knowledgeable and helpful people about the products. They answer all your questions and give helpful advice.❤️❤️“
“The delivery driver was very nice. That's where this love story ends. If this pizza could talk, oh, the stories it would tell! My guess is that whoever made it was having a very bad day or was mad about my lactose intolerance. I will say I've never before gotten a cold, disheveled pizza at any location, but there's a first time for everything.***update***I got a call, and they apologized and made sure I was taken care of. Great customer service.“
“We used Cupcake Charlies for our July 2023 Wedding. The cupcakes were delicious and the service was great! Our guests loved the cupcakes and raved about them for days after the wedding. We enjoyed our tasting with them at the Plymouth Location- the staff answered all of our questions and worked with us throughout the process. We were able to rent a cupcake stand from them and add on delivery to the venue for a small fee. Everything was seamless. We love going back and visiting for more cupcakes!“
“Stumbled upon this place today. They had a banana bread French toast breakfast special and have to say it was DELICIOUS! Eggs came out perfect and tater tots were nice and crispy. Met the owner and she and her family were very friendly and hospitable. Will def go again.“
“Donuts ? oh my. This little gem is a great stop on the south shore. The staff is above and beyond with customer service. The 1st visit can be slightly overwhelming with all the flavor choices in coffee and endless option for donuts, sweets, and sandwiches. Don't worry they will help. Worth the wait.“
“We stumbled upon Piece of Cake when we were in town on my husband’s birthday and needed last minute cupcakes to celebrate! The cupcakes were so good, we ended up placing an order of 30 cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner 2 weeks later as well! We live in Pittsburgh, but if we lived in Plymouth or the surrounding areas I would be using Piece of Cake for every single cake need that I have!!! Highly recommended.“
“The best food in the friendliest atmosphere. Take home their home cooked dinners and baked goods, very reasonably priced! My favorite take home find: sweet potato burgers and chicken dinners. They have the best of sandwiches and soups too, to stay or go. Donuts from Donut King and all kinds of hot and cold coffee. What’s not to love?“
“I've been taking my family to this coffee shop for over 10 years, and it's terrific. Very small, family run business. They roast their own beans right there on the premises, which I love. Not a ton of seating, but fantastic pastries (mostly muffins) to go along with some terrific coffee. It's a cash-only place (something else I love), so bring some folding money with you. You won't be disappointed!“
