“There was a miscommunication about the bakery's hours, and I genuinely thought we were going to be without our Easter order. But Emily, the manager, and her father John, the owner, did something I truly didn't expect — they made it work anyway. They went out of their way to make sure we still got everything we needed, and on Easter Sunday of all days. That kind of customer care is rare. It would have been so easy for them to simply say "sorry, we're closed" — but instead they showed up for us in a way we won't forget. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Our pies were fresh and perfectly made, and the carrot birthday cake — a special request from the birthday boy himself — was absolutely stunning. Everything tasted like it was baked with real love and care, and it made our Easter celebration (and birthday!) that much more special. If you're looking for a bakery that not only delivers incredible baked goods but also treats their customers like family, look no further. Emily and John, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. During the planning process, we were having a difficult time getting responses from vendors due to being out of town, but they stood out immediately by being responsive, timely, and easy to communicate with. They not only answered quickly, but also took the time to understand our vision and executed a unique cake design that felt personal to us. The flat white here is a latte and the beans are not good. I think this is somewhere to go more for Turkish coffee or American-style syruped coffee. And (probably) good pastries!“

“This place has strong sentimental value for me. We got our wedding cake here and they don’t ( or didn’t at the time ) make wedding cakes. We were young and poor and they made us three cakes which we put on platters to make into a wedding cake. We had so much left over we were eating it until Thanksgiving (got married at the end of August). We had no money and were eating pancakes, kraft Mac and cheese, chicken loaf sandwiches, chicken pucks and ramen to survive. But our freezer was filled with the leftover cake and I just loved it.
Circle back 30 some odd years later and my wife and I are walking through Chinatown and we come across this place again (we had moved away from the area after we got married). We go inside, the cake is not on the menu, but we tell them what we want (peach cake) and they make it for us right there. We bring it home and eat it the whole cake in one sitting.
Now whenever we are in Chinatown, we stop here before we go home and they make the cake for us ( though we don’t eat the whole thing in one sitting anymore).❤️“

“I've come here a number of times and I've always had a good experience. This Tatte location is nice and bright with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there are a few booths, some tables, and high top/bar seating.

The employees are helpful and quick! The food is good, I particularly like the turkey avocado sandwich and the cherry and cheese danish.“

Bagels are good--crusty and chewy. Ordered 2 Everything with Classic Lox, 1 sesame with plain schmear, and 1 sesame with egg and cheese, to go. Everything bagels were good, but the seasoning had a bit too much salt. Sesame with schmear was fine. But the sesame with egg and cheese was MISSING FROM MY ORDER. I didn't discover it until I got home. Too far to go back, so I just got ripped off 😡 Otherwise, they were good. Check your order before leaving!“

“WOW !! let me tell YALL ABOUT THESE PATTIES !!! i’m talking about lip smackkinnn good ! the pattie’s are WELL PRICED, flaky , crispy, soft, juicy, hot, fresh .. i mean you can’t tell me NOTHING!! and the bread rolls are HANDMADE (as are the pattie’s) but the bread is also fluffy and hot & it absorbs butter sooo nicely. i went one day, then the following day and then the day after that !! it’s a small bakery with a juicing shop attached. i ordered a dozen beef patties and i put them in the fridge.. After about 5-7 mins in the toaster oven it was good as new !! they have a loyal customer in me. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
