But Emily, the manager, and her father John, the owner, did something I truly didn't expect — they made it work anyway. They went out of their way to make sure we still got everything we needed, and on Easter Sunday of all days. That kind of customer care is rare. It would have been so easy for them to simply say "sorry, we're closed" — but instead they showed up for us in a way we won't forget. And the food? Absolutely delicious. “Montilios does it again!!! I called on Wednesday afternoon for a custom cake to be ready on Friday morning and they were so sweet and accommodating and made an exceptional cake as always. The best part was asking for a Cookie Monster cake and they DELIVERED. “A great place to stop for a cup of coffee, pick up freshly roasted beans, or a muffin right out of the oven. Prices are very reasonable (cash only), and if you have any questions the owners are very friendly. For grabbing a bag of coffee beans, they have some unique offerings, and they can grind it for you if you like.

It’s a down to earth and approachable coffee shop and roaster that focuses on quality. Hard to beat.“

“Sometimes a healthy snack is a boring snack. NOT SO with Boxford Bakehouse granola! Fresh all-natural ingredients are crafted into a crunchy and delicious granola that is packed with texture and flavor. Somehow they've managed to preserve the crunch without the use of any added oils. I've had each of these versions and can recommend them all. My personal favorite was the muselli.“

“This small little breakfast spot is in a strip mall. My husband had the bacon, gouda and onion omelet and it was very good. There were strips of bacon in it. The home fries were crisp and had good seasoning. I had an egg, bacon & cheese sandwich on sourdough. It was good but a little dry. I wouldnt get it again. I saw their pancakes and they looked great. We also got pastries to go. We had a cranberry and also a raspberry coffee cake muffin. They were ok. The cinnamon twist was delicious and my husband liked the raspberry twist. The coconut donut was great. I would order more donuts next time.“

They not only answered quickly, but also took the time to understand our vision and executed a unique cake design that felt personal to us. The final result was beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was smooth, reliable, and stress-free something that meant a lot during wedding planning. “We drove an hour to try this place out and we are so glad we did! They had an amazing bacon egg and cheese and the broc cheddar soup our girls has the acai bowl and we got a mocca late. The girls who worked there were super nice. Helped me figure out something the kids would eat because they ran out of bagels! Also great view of the harbor. A must go to.“
