“Place is the best Chinese south of Boston“

“From sirloin tips, to Brazilian stew to roasted corn salad with shrimp, the food was delicious. Our server, Peyton, was a delight and very attentive. We highly recommend Bluefish River Tavern!“

“This is a gem for many reasons but the view is the most special thing about it. Layer in the fact that the food is delicious as are the drinks, and it makes for a very special place. It’s a great option for gluten free and dairy free restrictions, but you definitely need to like seafood or you won’t be able to eat much. (It is a raw bar after all…) It does have sushi bowls and kids options. The cocktails are incredible, some served over crushed ice which I love and feels like a treat. Great spot for a date or family outing (including the dog) with lots of options for seating. It can get crowded st the height of summer. We usually try to get there right when it opens or an hour or two before close to get a good table. There’s also a really nice indoor seating area with rec room vibes.

Maybe because they didn't tell us until after that they apply an automatic 20% tip onto your bill if party of 6 or more - even if 4 adults and two kids ages 6 and 4 years old. Only suggestion would be sound absorption! Pads on ceiling? It can get uncomfortabley loud when full. Overall, this is our go- to spot. Easy parking.“

“We have been by the terrace a few times and always wanted to try it. Finally we ventured in. But at the hostess stand we were told there were no tables and we didn’t have a reservation. As the hostess was telling us this a man appeared from the bar area and asked if he could help us. We just said we were going to have dinner but were told there were no tables. Well he told the hostess to put us in the alley. I was interested as to what the alley was but I was going there needless to say. It was a nice little table in a narrow part of the rooftop with a beautiful view. We were very happy. Now to the food and the service. The service was fantastic (unfortunately I can’t remember the waiters name) and the food was unbelievable. We both had the Hoisin steak. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend this place. Thank you to Michael Gordon for accommodating us. We will definently be back.“

“My husband and I were gifted this tour for the Island Creek Oyster farming experience by our sweet friends as a wedding gift. The tour was 2 hours long, 1 hour exploring the hatchery and 1 hour on the boat shucking oysters and viewing the space they own. It would have been great to see how they actually collect the oysters, but overall learned a ton and had a great time!“

“I visited as a stranger for the first time and it was very refreshing to be around such friendly and polite regulars. Connie was excellent behind the bar and the kitchen staff prepared a feast of a Fish sandwich (off menu) weighing in over 2lbs, tots and fries included. The price for food and fun was also refreshingly reasonable and I had a great early evening.

“I had the shrimp plate. It was perfect and fresh. My husband had a bacon ranch pizza. The bacon was the star of the pizza. Very good. My daughter had a Greek pizza. It was ok, but not worth ordering again. All in all the food was fresh and well done.“

“We had a 80th birthday celebration in the private dining room on a busy Saturday night. 71 could not have been better! The food was fantastic for all guests. A lot of the salmon dish and filets were all cooked to perfection. Cynthia the server was knowledgeable and professional. She expertly handled questions regarding allergies and gluten free items. The room was beautiful and we were able to bring in decor and a video slideshow. Highly recommend!!!“
