“We were quickly greeted by a host as soon as we walked in. It was a Tuesday at noon time so it wasn't very busy, but I have seen this place on days where there's a wait and they are still just as attentive and kind. A server came to our table in less than 5 minutes if us sitting down, brought over our drinks and our food soon after. The food was delicious and very filling. The total came to about $26 which included coffee, a side of home fries, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and an omelette that came with toast and home fries. In my opinion, the portions were great and well worth what we paid. The overall vibe of restaurant was lovely. At the end of our brunch, the same person who sat us also offered to pack up our food for us. Only thing to note is I wish there were more menu options but it's still great. Would definitely recommend.“

“Visiting Barbers Crossing Road House, affectionately known as 'Barbers,' is consistently an exquisite experience. Last night's visit, marked by a celebration for a friend's birthday, was no exception. Each person in our party was thoroughly impressed with their meals, indulging in every bite with great pleasure. Our server, Autumn, was the epitome of kindness, blending impeccable service with a warmth and personability that elevated our dining experience to new heights. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our enjoyment were truly remarkable. The highlight of my meal was the colossal 2lb prime rib, a masterpiece of culinary art presented in a perfect medium-rare finish. The meat's tenderness was beyond my expectations, melting in my mouth with an almost unbelievable sweetness. Cutting into it, each bite-sized piece was a revelation, bursting with flavors that danced delightfully on my palate.Complementing this meaty marvel, I savored one of their delectable veggie skewers. The vegetables were expertly charred, achieving a tender perfection that harmonized beautifully with the prime rib. It's culinary craftsmanship like this that ensures every visit to Barber's leaves us with contented smiles and fully satisfied appetites. In summary, Barber's never fails to deliver an exceptional dining experience. From the attentive service to the magnificent fare, it's a place that truly captures the essence of a memorable meal. We look forward to many more visits, each promising the joy of discovery and the pleasure of good company.“

“Last night before the Judds concert, we were looking for a place to have dinner. Most places right around the venue were at least an hour wait. We ended up a couple blocks from away at a place called deadhorse hill . It was a small place, not a huge menu but a decent selection of options. The greeter was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and funny with a quick wit. While we waited for our meal, I observed the bartender expertly measuring, stirring and shaking drinks while engaged in friendly chatting with other staff and people at the bar. Our food was great. We each got burgers and fries and they were delicious. When the bill came, there was a 20% tip already factored in. I've seen this done for large parties before but it was just three of us. Apparently it was stated on the menu, I hadn't seen it. I'm paraphrasing here because I don't recall the exact wording but basically they said the reason they do it is so that all staff is paid equally and they earn enough to make a livable wage. I thought that was pretty cool and then it dawned on me, our waitress was truly one of the best I've ever had. In truth, she didnt have to be. Technically, she was already getting her 20% guaranteed. She didnt have to put in any extra effort. The same goes for the rest of the staff. To me, this made it all the more impressive. The backs of the shirts they all wore said, "Don't be a Pickle kicker". Couldn't figure out what that meant so we asked our waitress. She told us that some time ago back they first opened, a young man worked there and when it got busy and he was building the sandwiches and a pickle fell to the floor, he would just kick it under the fridge. When other staff would clean they would find piles of pickles under there. So its a message to everyone on staff to think of each other, take pride in their work and don't be lazy. I thought that was pretty amazing. All in all, if you ever find yourself in Worcester, MA for a concert or event at the DCU Center, go early and have dinner at Deadhorse Hill. Well worth it and a wonderful experience.“

“I found myself in Worcester yesterday and searched for vegan food online and found Belmont Vegetarian among others listed. After seeing several pictures of dishes I decided to go! And I’m glad I did! Belmont Vegetarian (where everything is vegan) was delicious and in heaping portions. There’s a smaller (but still big) container for only $17 and change and a giant container (which I obviously got) for $19 and change. I got BBQ, mac n cheese, rice , beans, and chickpeas, and some sweet n sour steak. They also make their own delicious juice with sea moss. I got watermelon. The place is set up for takeout mostly with only 2 dining tables.Definitely worth the drive from NH!“

“These guys brew so many different beers, it's probably my favorite brewery in Central Massachusetts. (Including you-know-who in Charlton). They have an excellent variety of different styles and flavors, and they aren't constantly changing names of their beers just because they lost the recipe. Their kitchen is small, so you're not going for a full meal, but all of their snacks are great. They have a good setup. The only thing to remember is that dogs are outside only - East Brookfield rule, not theirs. Makes it hard when it's colder out. However, they have a covered area outside, as well. They do some cool special things too, like craft fairs, smores cooking sometimes, and other different things to engage with the community. Pretty sure they have a corn hole league, too.Anyways, I highly recommend.“

“Me and Stephen took the kids to Pinecroft Dairy for Dinner last night. JOCELYN was the PERFECT waitress. Seating areas are small so she said, I have a booth in the corner or we could put two tables together. We thought maybe the booth, but it did not hold all six of us. Before we even saw the seats she said feel free to change your minds. We ended up opting the tables. While we were getting seated she said I know you just sat down, but I'm happy to get you drinks. She never let us wait for anything, asked several times if we needed anything else. This place was packed. Everything came in a timely manner. The FOOD: Best Scallops I've had in a long time. Everyone was so pleased with their food, and everything was cooked PERFECTLY. Prices were great - 6 people for under $100. Thank you PINECROFT!!!! I've been going their for Ice Cream for years. “I really like this place. We've been here 8-10 times at this point. The food is fairly consistent (I have always liked my meals, but my friends sometimes don't have as much luck). I like their pretzel bites, chicken sandwiches, and burgers - it's a cool touch to have the OBT logo on the buns. Their dessert menu also has a few great options. Drinks are pretty good, and they have cute seasonal cocktails. Service is decent, but I haven't found the host/hostesses very friendly or welcoming - they seem as though they are sometimes annoyed they need to sit people, especially if you have more than 2 people in your party - but maybe they've been having off evenings when I've been there. My only criticisms would be the size of their soft drink cups (which it looks like they have improved, yay!!) and their closing time of 9pm SHARP. If they wish to close at this time, they should stop seating tables a lot earlier than they do. There isn't much communication about last call from the bar (this also includes refills for soft drinks) or last call for the kitchen. One time, we were not able to order dessert because the kitchen had closed - but our waitress never warned us of this. Most recently, we ordered/ate our food in 45 mins, which I think is very speedy, but I still felt rushed by the staff. Our server seemed more focused on cleaning than service, they turned off the music to ensure our quick exit, and stared at us as we walked out at 9:05. I really expected better service for the price of the food. Not sure if I'll be back any time soon, but I'd still recommend them for an early dinner or lunch.“

Family run and the owner - brother’s are doing the cooking every night, the care and quality shows. Never disappoints. Top quality seafood and the home made ice cream tops it all off. A local favorite and really worth a ride in from Boston or elsewhere, for a casual clam bar experience and the best seafood.“

“We ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and potato skins. I was very impressed when they asked how we wanted the burgers cooked. We ordered medium and they came out perfect! All the veggies on our burgers were fresh and the bacon was thick sliced with an awesome flavor. We really enjoyed the potato skins as well. My burger was so large that I ate half and will be eating the rest of it and my potato skins for dinner. The food was prepared quickly and it came out sooner than they told me it would be ready. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the chance to meet the owner and he is a really nice man. Don't go by the previous reviews this place is a hidden gem! The bar has a homey "Cheers" atmosphere. I will definitely go back.“

“First time visiting Bennie’s. I liked the neighborhood atmosphere. Yes it’s small and old but I felt that if I went more often ‘Everyone would know my name’.My husband and I ordered nachos. So good. I only wished there was more salsa served with them. We paid extra for the chicken and it was worth it.I had a glass of Josh Chardonnay and my husband had a Bud on draft.Table could have been cleaned better but I never asked them to re clean it.I definitely would go back. Would like to try some sandwiches or meals.Parking: First come first serve. Located in a plaza. We had no problem on a Sunday afternoon.“

“Went last night with my son before a hockey game. Food was awesome, prices were great, portions were fantastic, and the staff was wonderful.Really a gem for the Greendale area.Ignore the one-star ratings below. If the reviewer can't bother to leave a review when they leave a rating like that, the rating is just bitter and irrelevant.“

“The food was ok, the bread bowl was amazing, the 110 margarita is perfection. My grilled rare tuna was good, a little off putting having a chilled rare tuna steak sitting on hot rice but very nice presentation. My companion had the steak and said it was ok, way overpriced for the ultra thin peice he got. Salad was very good. Service was adequate, nothing great or terrible to say about the waitstaff.I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke bread bowl, it's very good.“

“Food is good, but had to wait an extra 20 mins for my order to be made because it was given to Grubhub. Waitress said they could see if GrubHub will bring it back since the original order was a chicken salad. No discount for their inconvenience. They could have at least waived the convenience fee on using a credit card.“
