“I have been going here for years and they are still pretty good. I will admit they were better before the pandemic, but things happen. The food is good. You can get street food and hot 'gormet' meals. The service is really kind and quick, and takeout is super good too.“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“Love Tu y Yo in Somerville but quite a drive for us. This has the same owners and much of the same menu and is much closer. This restaurant was wonderful! My favorites are the cactus salad, the tamales, plantains, and birria tacos. Mole wasn't my favorite, and pozole was good but a bit salty. Staff were really friendly and welcoming! Definitely looking forward to coming back!“

“This is a sweet little neighborhood place that I just love, I think I’m in here 2-3 times a week, I get cravings! FRESH FRESH food and the service, the people are SO nice, professional and friendly. The only recommendation I would have to the business itself is add a way to put a tip on when you pay via your phone or credit card. All it allows you to do is pay for the meal, tips are cash, but who carries cash anymore? Attention management of Los Amigos - area for improvement - add tip feature for auto / card payments!“

“Love that you can get at many toppings as you want for mostly no extra charge, but the Harvard location is a bit better. The rice here was a bit grainier, the corn a bit rougher, and overall flavor not as good. However, still satisfactory and affordable so would still eat here.

Nachos tasted great, but there weren't too many chips and 80-90% of them were soggy.

Nutella empanadas are a bit pricey, but they're good.

Orange and mango juice was okay. Apple juice was okay.“

All have been seasoned well and so flavorful! The only tiny complaint is that the side of guacamole with my quesadillas was very tiny, like a tablespoon. We typically get the tacos and bowls. The portion size is good, with the tacos usually overflowing with ingredients. They also don't charge for guacamole here, which is an added bonus. The flavors are good and it tastes great, and the queso dip they use for their chips is creamy and tastes good.“

Greeted warmly, seated quickly in a buzzing atmosphere with nice decor. There's a bar, high tops, booths and tables by the windows. We've had Diego A. as our server multiple times and he is fabulous! Plenty of cocktails or beer to choose from - excellent margarita's btw. The food is delish - nice menu of options and if you have a question or special food requirement, it's not a problem at all.
