I have gotten a large oat milk latte and four pastries that are recommended by the staff. The latte was perfectly heated to combat the current Boston cold winds. The energy, the sounds, the taste of fresh pastry in the air blended with the grained coffee were just what I was looking for. Victoria, one of the cafe staff was warm and welcoming. As I was sitting on the bistra bar drinking a great cup of real barista coffee, I noticed the waiters and waitress laughing and having a good time. It was just a great experience to take part in. Also very much enjoyed trying the half sizes of the mushroom melt sandwich, the Butternut Squash sandwich, and the achiote chicken sandwich. The raspberry oat bar was nice too, and the carrot cake was very moist and with a lot of cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sweet.There are seating areas downstairs and upstairs which include bar seats and benches and regular chairs, as well as an elevator to the second floor. The staff were very professional and friendly and we saw them help visually impared customers with great courtesy.The only thing I would skip is the chai latte- it tasted pretty bland.“

“My first time at Bobby C’s and it was delightful. I’ve been living around the corner for a while but I never checked Bobby C’s before and I regret it so badly. The mussels in white wine and garlic sauce was something unexplainable, calamari perfectly fried to keep the tenderness, chicken parmigiana and the stuffed chicken breast was unreal. All unbelievably delicious and flavorful. The drinks were a must, and the big surprise was the to go dessert we took home, we were LITERALLY OMG at every bite. I regret not ask our server’s but if you go there and see this sweet lady with gray short hair and a bright smile, she is the one. She said that the desserts were backed by her and she gave us some biscuits to our little baby pug. “I've done take out from this place a few times now through a catering app for my job and this place never fails. Despite the large orders it gets, my food has always come on time and with great flavor. I'm not adventurous when it comes to sushi, rather I'm very basic. I have ordered the lunch combo with the crispy onion roll, crunchy shrimp roll, and shrimp dumplings and I've also tried the spicy shrimp tempura and edamame. My favorite has been the onion roll because of the crispy onions on top that provide so much flavor and the crunchy and fresh cucumber. The shrimp in my sushi has always been crispy and the rice is sticky, not hard. The only disappointment has been that the spicy shrimp tempura roll is not spicy but you can fix that with some sriracha. The edamame has a fresh taste.“
