“The thing that stands out about this place is the portion size of the food. As a pickup and take out place, don't expect a lounge like atmosphere, just take your food and go. You won't be disappointed about the food either, cause it's really nice ??.“

“The people are very friendly and kind. I needed to wait for a few hours until I could get into my AirBnb and they let me stay warm and cozy until I could go in. The only reason it's not 5 starts is because they food is not of my taste (taste is VERY subjective) and the door isn't the best letting all the heating go away as soon as someone comes in or out.“

“Delicious food, prepared with care & love. I had a jerk chicken & plantain wrap — highly recommend. For dessert, key lime pie — out of this world. Excellent service & atmosphere.“

“Go here right now! Husband and I sat at the bar and were waited on by friendly, informative bartender. Cocktails were inventive, the menu was both meat and veg packed and FULL of flavor. Spices and perfectly cooked apps, snacks and mains. Everyone on staff was friendly and it felt like we were in someone's home. Just loved it and we'll go back again hopefully soon!“

“We all had something different from the menu. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce on it, the Bavette and Macfaldine dishes were also excellent. Did not care for the caesar salad before of the kale greens. It is a small place so make reservations. Michaela was absolutely great and we all had a fun time.“

“I am of Bajan decent. Today I experienced the goat and Coucou (sp?). It was so good that I found myself swaying and humming. I almost expected my Bajan grandmother to enter the room and join me. The food was so tasty, comforting and just spicy enough. I also had the opportunity to meet Chester, the owner and Chef. In speaking with him, it is clear to note that he is committed to his community. While recognizing some of the problems, he comes forward offering solutions! I wish the best to this establishment and its patient staff as I will return. Q.M. Zakiya“

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed meal or a special night out. The food and drinks were absolutely great, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care.
What truly sets this place apart is the owner and staff. They attend to every guest with genuine attention and professionalism. Everything feels organized and thoughtfully managed, and you really feel seen and heard throughout your visit. It’s rare to find a spot that combines excellent food with such exceptional hospitality.
Highly recommend!“

“AWESOME experience here!!
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did!
It was our first time eating Haitian food so we were excited.
The woman tending to us was so sweet and explained to us our options and let us try samples. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal and I felt that love from her.
We ended up splitting a dinner plate with chicken, salad, plantains, rice, and mac n cheese. Everything was clearly homemade and delicious. Portions were generous and we both left full. They even made fresh cheesecake and gave us some to try, literally they were so kind!
Really I only have good things to say about this place and I recommend you support their business because they were awesome and the food was of high quality!!“

“The young woman at the order window is so pleasant! She’ll let you know exactly how long the wait is and if there are any issues in the kitchen causing delays.
I ordered the roti, and it was tasty. However, I waited nearly two hours.
I would not recommend the pepper sauce unless you love extremely spicy food—it is HOT! Just a tiny drop is enough. 🌶️“

“Stopped in for breakfast before court. Was hungry and had stress induced stomach ache coming on and needed to get some food in me. Got the saltfish breakfast and it was delicious. Their hot sauce taste like what I’ve only found in Rwanda and Caribbean Panama. Had to remind myself to slow down and not overdo it before court. Getting some real food in my stomach was exactly what was needed to get through a stressful morning.“

“The food here is always delicious. But we just went for drinks and to dance. This is a Dominican spot that converts to a club vibe on the weekends. I always enjoy myself at El Molinos. The DJ understood the assignment. It is an older crowd and the music was on point. There aren't enough spots that cater to Gen X. I was happy ?.“

“On the outskirts of Downtown Lynn here's a spot that serves tasty authentic Hatian food with good serving sizes. Chicken so good that it slides off the bone!
Pikliz was crunchy and a little spicy to add a kick of flavor. Dish served with generous amounts of sauce. Papaya juice was thickened with too much whipped cream, though. You can't go wrong with the bunun peze (pressed fried plaintains). The atmosphere could use some decoration, and better music choice could be switched to Haitian music to celebrate the culture with pride and set the right vibe. It's a small business/family owned restaurant, so I can overlook some issues and hope they improve over time with listening to the constructive feedback. Street parking is available, and the place is easy to find off the street. Service was friendly and the food was great, so a good experience overall. Merci!

“Tiny, inexpensive ,no frills place with friendly young staff serving up classic Dominican tostados, toasted sandwiches. Takeout only, but they have plenty of outdoor seating. Sandwiches were delicious but a real surprise was the quality of the fruit smoothies! My mango and passion fruit smoothie was so rich and summery, not drenched in sugar at all.“

“I have only done take-out, but you can also eat here. The jerk chicken is good, and I have also enjoyed the oxtail and curry goat. The fish dishes are also tasty. Not as many vegetable sides as I would prefer, but still enjoyable as a treat every now and then.“
“Great restaurant, when you are looking to eat great food in a quiet inviting atmosphere.“

“First time eating here after watching tooo many shows on Jamaican food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Jerk chicken - moist, fall apart with a fork and spiced perfectly. The heat is there and it stays for a bit but sooo good Beans and rice - was not expecting a coconut flavor to the rice, game changer for sure and dulls down some of the heat if you don’t like spicy chicken. Corn - roasted and flavorful. I will be coming back here again and again. If you’re in the area you owe it to your taste buds to stop in.“

“This is the first time that, I have been there in at least 3 years and the food was good I had the white rice and there Mac and cheese dish and the chicken ? was ok but, it was the Mac and cheese that, I thought ? was very good the service was ok it's a mid to small place and yes they do accept credit cards and it was taken out for me and my family.“

“Went in to satisfy the kid’s ice cream craving. We were pleasantly surprised at all the flavor choices! Walked home after sharing a scoop of oreo and cookie dough (sort of sharing, the boy can be a bit stingy when the food is good...) and with a meal each: jerk chicken and stew beef. We each had a filling dinner last night AND lunch today. Thanks! Looking forward to trying ALL the ice cream flavors :)“

“Delicious take out restaurant. Don't recall ever having real Jamaican food before but now I'm a convert. Not really a place to sit down and eat and I don't recall there being tables or counters. Regardless, would recommend swinging by here for some high quality and cheap eats!
Recommend the beef patty sandwich, the bread is sweet and so good! Chicken meat falls off the bone, but watch out, that spice doesn't hit right away.“

“I was probably one of its first 25 clients, I worked in Mattapan. I can’t remember anything I didn't like. The food was always exceptionally delicious. Fresh bannann pézé, soft grio and tasso. The pikliz could have been hotter.“

“I smelled the food from down the street during an interview. I followed my nose until I found the source. I ordered a medium jerk chicken rasta pasta with a side of beans and rice with ox tail sauce. I devoured it in my car, down the street. It was delicious. So, so good. The heat was a little mild for me, but perfect for your average eater, and it was still sooooo full of flavor. The only thing that was missing was watermelon water. MmmmmmMMM.“

“Came here for the oxtail, was not disappointed! I do wish it had more meat on it but it was so flavorful and well seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice and beans &pikliz & plantains. The food was so fresh and smelled delicious. The place was a little hard to find but just look at the numbers on the door. Parking wasn’t bad.“
