“We were visiting Manchester by the sea and went to this restaurant for our first dinner, this did not disappoint whatsoever! First of all, the menu was amazing and had an exceptional amount of options. The ambiance was perfect with low music and lighting, great for families and couples on date nights! Service was pretty decent... we had a waitress who was training another one which was nice to see the work progress, overall they remembered everything and were very professional, kind, and knowledgeable.“

“First time dining at Ledger tonight and we absolutely loved it. The food was wonderful (we both got the Cod special and it was incredible) and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. The martinis were very good. We sat at the bar and will definitely be back!“

“My wife gets all the credit for introducing me to this restaurant. I didn't know what to expect, but definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Massachusetts. This place isn't just great food, but also extremely friendly staff. I unfortunately didn't think to take photos, but we got the whipped ricotta and shared the salad. I got the chicken dish and my wife the pasta. Everything was amazing. It does seem like the dishes are on a fairly frequent rotation so new dishes pop up unless I'm mistaken. Highly recommend trying this place out and make sure you get reservations as there is limited seating.“

“We hosted my daughter's bridal shower on February 3rd. My daughter told me that it was even better than she dreamed it could be! Dayna and her team were amazing! She helped the event go smoothly and allowed me to enjoy the event with my daughter! Food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. I would highly recommend Grove Rowley. Thank you Dayna!!!“

“Wonderful oysters and fantastic baked stuffed lobster. Clam chowder pretty good and Milo loved the beef filet. The employees were really nice and I'm super impressed by the friendliness of the local people. Real good experience for me.“

“The food was fantastic, and the service was great. They also had a great selection of specialty cocktails. They were busy when we got there for our reservation, and when our server arrived at our table, we were ready with our whole order, and he was able to quickly pivot and take the whole order and get our night going. Can't wait to go back.“

“We had the best experience yesterday at Olde Main Street Pub. We sat outside and it was great people and dog watching. We started with the curry fries, which we had never had but the server encouraged the choice..it was delicious. I had salmon with summer succotash and my husband loved the curry so much, he ordered the veggie pub curry with chicken. Service was fantastic, very friendly, polite and informative. We will definitely come back.“

The service is always top notch and atmosphere is great for date night or dinner with the family. “We were seating promptly. High Top table was fine, but the seats were very unstable, wobbly and need to be re-glued/screwed/ reinforced..... Pity if someone broke a stool and fell!! The service was great! We werent rushed at all. The mushroom flatbread was a delicious a stater for sharing the salmon with farro, fava and spinach, Wow! Please secure the seating and find a way to improve the acoustics. The Besides the noise was deafening, making it difficult to enjoy dinner conversation with friends.“

“My teenage daughter, toddler, and I went there for Sunday brunch. I had a really nice Indo breakfast sandwich and my daughter had the French toast. Excellent food. Great beer selection and staff was very nice.It cost less than I expected. That was nice surprise.“

“The Emerson Inn is a quaint hotel with the most kind of people working there. From the moment you walk through the doors you feel the immediate welcome and are instantly at peace. The Parlor Bar is a wonderful treat with delicious drinks and food. With all that being said, I feel that what makes the Emeson such an amazing place is everyone that works there. They make you feel at home, they are kind and accommodating!“

“I love when you go to a place a few times and the experience on gets better every time. We met with friends at the bar. We ordered a few apps (delicious BTW) to go with a couple of wonderful drinks mixed by our phenomenal bartender, Arwen. They also had live entertainment the evening we were there. “I've been to Fox Creek Tavern a few times for dinner and had a wonderful experience each time. Decided to try brunch on Sunday and it was lovely. The mimosa flight was very good and I had an amazing Irish Omelette. Went at 10am and they weren't busy at all at that time. Waitress was very kind and attentive“

“I might just be a simple man with a simple family. But my family and I think this place is a destination restaurant. We've had fish & chips all over - including New York City, Epcot, and Boston. But this unassuming restaurant astounded us with their fish and chips. Our server tells us that they get their fish fresh every morning, so that might have something to do with it. “it's a great place and a great bar. unfortunately the people performing whatever they thought they were performing was god awful to the point where we left as soon as we were done paying for our food. “Our "Go To" restaurant in the area. Great service and atmosphere. My wife and I have enjoyed every entry we've ordered. From walnut salad, steak tips, Bolognese to burger. Then great to be recognized on our birthdays with a complimentary Skillet Chocolate Cookie. Keep it up, you're doing it right!“
