“Such a great experience tonight. We were in town for vacation from Texas and stopped in for dinner. The server was so friendly, relatable, and welcoming. The food was fantastic. Extremely flavorful and just what we needed to and our trip. The chef Nick is incredible and so creative with his dishes. He came out to the table and chatted with us several times. You can tell he loves what he does!!! If you are looking for great food, low key chill environment, and friendly staff… this is the place. Next time we come to town, this place will for sure be our on list of places to come.

“There is an enchilada dish on the menu (I can’t recall the exact name) that is smothered in mole sauce they say is their grandmother’s recipe. This is the greatest mole sauce I have ever had. It is both sweet and spicy… amazingly delicious. Absolutely my favorite dish on the menu. I’ve tried several other items as well and they never disappoint. I’ve heard a few complaints about slow service… you have to remember that they aren’t microwaving junk they bought at the market. This is the real deal! I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Love the homey atmosphere! You can tell everything is homemade with love patty melt on rye was delicious as was the hash skillet and eggs over hash. The seasonal pumpkin pancake was also great 10/10 would recommend and come again. Street parking only so keep your eyes peeled for a spot.“

“This was my first time here I live out of state currently and I have alpha gal syndrome so I am allergic to mammal. This place we decided to try it out and man oh man! This was my first time eating in a restaurant in a LONG time!!! Absolutely amazing food! It all looks and smells delicious! The staff is very friendly! I highly recommend this place! The menu can be found online and the paper menu in-house is clearly marked with possible allergen information! 10/10.“

We were pleasantly surprised at how GREAT their pizza is. Some of the best in the area. Chicken fingers are sooo good w the spicy sweet Thai sauce for dipping. Go get yourself an order or two!“

“Love the vibe of Notch, and of course, the BEER! The owner and staff are great, attentive, and always there with a smile. Yoy got to try the pretzel and look for special events like the monthly meat raffle! I appreciate their policy of 21+ at night, kids are great, but sometimes not all the time! Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!“

“Not much more to say that OUTSTANDING!! he food is delicious, abundant, varied, signature to them in tastes and styles, affordable, local, fresh - and served/prepared by an amazing crew!! It's a tiny place, which you would think would discourage many. But not here!! That should tell you something. Not only is there a line out the door for 'to-go' ordering, but people filing in and out who ordered ahead - not to mention those ]like myself] willing to wait - cramped - patiently awaiting a seat to open in order to dine in. Ya, to some it might seem more hassle than the hype. But I say the hassle is because the hype is true!! Anything worth having is worthy a bit of struggle to get it. “We met some friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. We sat out on the deck with a lovely view. The waitress was very accommodating having made a suggestion when I could not eat the vegetables offered due to dietary restrictions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only negative was that it was a very very warm evening and there were no fans or AC on the deck or even in the inside dining room. So we were all a bit uncomfortable. However, we managed to enjoy our meals and would return again on a cooler evening.“

“My wife and I have not had much luck with dining out lately so when it came to picking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner I was nervous that I would find the right place. I came across Nine Elm and read the reviews. They were amazing. So we made a reservation but I was still cautiously optimistic. Things could not have gone better! We arrived and where we were seated was noising, not what we wanted for an anniversary dinner. When I asked the waitress if there was a quieter spot she went to speak to the manager in we were moved immediately. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly but professional. The wine was lovely and the food delicious. We ordered the duck and the swordfish special and they were both cooked to perfection. For dessert we split a Creme Brule. The custard was light and creamy a pleasant surprise. We had an amazing time. We will be back!“
