“Absolutely love marketplace cafe! BUT I do not agree with them pooling tips!!! Our waitress worked her butt off while we watched 4 waitresses sitting at tables by the entrance doing nothing!! Why should she have to share her tips while they sat and didn’t have tables?! If they have nothing to do have them sit somewhere else not at the entrance where people walk in! Very bad vibe. Let the amazing waitress earn her tips! She deserved them!“

“Had an amazing dinner tonight with my friend Amy. I had the steak tips - cooked perfectly with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Amy had Chicken Milanese which was cooked to perfection , fresh and served just right. Then we shared Crème Brûlée which was heavenly. Our waitress was attentive and professional. She made the evening warm and festive and it was a wonderful experience all around. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!“

“Well it is take-out so atmosphere doesn't count. The people at the take-out counter were friendly and pleasant. I had sweet and sour chicken. The last time I ordered take-out I think the sauce had a lot more vegetables in it and I think I got more sauce.“

“Great location. The service was friendly but way too fast. We were served all of our food within 5 minutes of ordering. That made the table very crowded and we had to eat out hot food first instead of the appetizers. It was ridiculously expensive. We didn’t order the raw oysters as they were $37 for 6 with mignonette sauce. We couldn’t believe they charge an extra $5 for sauce. The sushi was good. We loved being on the marina and able to look at the boats.“

“I worked with the Perkins Family for 15 years of my life! Many trips with ed jr down the cape and he has always had a passion for cooking and we had many conversations about it on our trips back n forth from the cape! I had lost touch for awhile and had heard ed jr had his own restaurant now and we had recently gone down the cape to visit my girlfriends dad at the military cemetery and we made sure we stopped in to check it out and im not surprised that his presentation and food is so good! Oct 24th, we sat at the bar. and waited at least half an hour for our food while the bartender didn't so much as glance at us. he was too busy chatting. our business isn't important enough. we will ho elsewhere“

“Did a search for a place on the water and went here. Boats all around on this inlet but was a great little spot. The weather was great so it was wonderful to be outside. Nice bar with friendly bartenders. Food was good and the staff was attentive but not overly. We didn't feel rushed at all.“

We had over 190 guests and not once did it ever feel overwhelming — they handled every detail flawlessly and with such professionalism. After 4 hours of cycling around the area, my wife and I were looking for refreshments. In the UK we'd have passed numerous pubs in that time, but less so here in New England. Quite by chance we happened across Grumpy's and couldn't have asked for a better watering hole.
The venue itself is brimming with character and history, and there's definitely something for everyone! Pool, darts, pinball, arcade games and a wonderful host in Kevin.
The drinks seemed really reasonably priced, and I would have happily stayed all day if I could have!
There are t many places to choose from around here that have the vibe and soul of Grumpy's, and so if that's what your looking for, this is the place to be!
If we are ever in the area again, we'll definitely be stopping by!“

Every bartender there always remembers my husband and I's order but more importantly they are all extremely personable and make the entire experience more enjoyable every time! I recently got married and because of my many great experiences at Sandwich Taverna, we immediately thought of them to host our after party and my expectations were exceeded! Thanos made the planning process so easy (which is GREATLY appreciated when in the mist of planning a wedding)! And our bartenders, Erica and Shantey, made our night absolutely amazing! “We had an exceptional experience at Villaggio last Wednesday evening. Our waiter, Tim, was helpful, humorous and attentive (without being too attentive!). The food was delicious and plentiful. We ate in one of the small intimate rooms where we were the only diners. I would highly recommend!“
