“The kind of spot we have been waiting for in Mattapan. The location is low key and fun. The owners and staff have excellent customer service. Paul makes great drinks and can make you a nice drink off menu. I ordered oxtail Alfredo which is very rich and tasty. My favorite is the curry goat.”

“I have to say that I have only eaten their breakfast food and it is delicious. I usually call ahead for some grits and bacon or sausage and there is one guy who answers the phone and he always says "Yes Ms. Wilson" or, "How are you, Ms. Wilson". Always courteous to anyone that he interacts. One day I will try their other food and I am sure it will be delicious also.”

“I have to admit, I prefer the deep fried Haitian patty better but this bakery blew me away with the baked patty. The patty was flaky enough to feel the outer layer breaking away as you bite into it but the inner layers were soft and consistent. The filling as well as the dough were both delicious.If you’re trying get an authentic taste of Haitian baked goods I highly recommend La Baguette Prime Bakery.Langue de boeuf used to be a really nice treat for me back home.”

“Great place to eat. The staff are great. The prices are better. The food is clean and hot. Their condiments are great. Only problem is the hygiene of the tables. They can clean those a bit faster. Save the tables, this place is really good.”

“Bitez is a new cool street grill restaurant on Morton street. It has a decent amount of items on their menu to pick from. I chose the steak and shrimp bowl it was very fresh and delicious. I’ve moved since I’ve tried them the last time but I’m def going back soon. They’re definitely worth a try. The restaurant is small but very nicely decorated”

“I can personally say I’ve been to 90% of the Haitian restaurants in the hood and they are the best hands-down. Their chicken is juicy and fresh, the rice is immaculate. Wonderful portions and the biggest portions are gonna get around the way. The environment is very nice. It’s very clean inside and welcoming. Above all the owner goes out her way to create an environment and provide a service that is elite compared to the other Haitian restaurants in this neighborhood. The owner is behind the register and in the kitchen and that’s what you call a boss! Don’t miss out!”

“What a great new spot! I’m always on the hunt for good ramen and this place certainly hits the mark. It’s a small place with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. The food isn’t cheap but it’s not exorbitant either, and you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was speedy and we didn’t feel at all rushed taking our time over our food.

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. “Very good pizza, especially the pepperoni one, we were very well served by Gigi, very friendly and attentive.
The only thing that bothered us a little was the hostess, a bald guy with glasses, who welcomed us at the entrance to the restaurant, seemed uncomfortable with our presence, constantly looking at our table suspiciously. We were dressed the same as everyone else and our behavior was the same as everyone else there, so I really don't know what the reason was.
Other than that, great service and good food.”

WE FINALLY WENT, THE MINUTE I WALKED IN THE PERSON AT CASHIER SAID WHEN YOUR READY TO ORDER YOU COME HERE, BLINDED BY IT AS IS A RESTAURANT NOT A FAST FOOD SPOT I LOOKED AT HER AND ASK FOR THE MENU SHE LOOKS AT ME AND POINTS INFRONT OF HER TO GO GET IT MIND YOU, THERE ARE 3 OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO WORK THERE .....I LET IT PASS AND TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE COMING BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AS THE FOOD ACTUALLY WAS GOOD THE WEEK PRIOR. WELL SERVICE WAS ONLY WORSE THIS TIME AROUND, THE WOMAN AT CASHIER LOOKED BOTHER BY JUST BEING THERE TAKING OUR ORDER AS THE TIME PRIOR OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND HER WHO ALSO WORKED THERE STANDING JUST THERE. WE GET OUR FOOD REALIZING I GOT CORN TORTILLAS ASKED IF THEY CAN BE SWITCHED TO FLOURONE OF THE EMPLOYEES RESPONSE WELL IF YOU DON'T EAT THEM THERE GOING TO THE TRASH AND I AM LOOKING AT HER LIKE OKAY IS FINE CAN I PAY FOR AN EXTRA ORDER OF TORTILLAS OF FLOUR. THE AMOUNT OF DISPLEASSURE THESE WOMAN HAVE BEING THEIR IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SERVED, ASIDE FROM THE FOOD FEELING SO RUSH THIS TIME AROUND AS WE GOT THERE AT 8 THEY CLOSED AT 10PM. I UNDERSTAND RESTAUTANT INDUSTRY IS NOT EASY BUT FOR ME TO GO TO AND SPEND MY MONEY IN A PLACE THAT FEELS SO FORCED TO WORK IS NOT WORTH MY TIME NOR MONEY.”
