“I’m pleasantly surprised. I worked a bit in a well known, closed down bakery so I expected a similar experience, but this place topped it! I was in a long line, much like the place I worked at would often have, but I waited minimal time, and even better, I didn’t witness any mistakes being made. No one came back to complain about a missing item or something wrong with their item. The girls at the counter were friendly. I could see the entire team not stopping, constantly working, even someone in the back I can see constantly busy. The customers seemed genuinely happy to be there, all friendly. I went to my car and had one of the most fresh tasting linguica and cheese rolls! It was wrapped well, not just thrown in a bag. While I waited for my husband to go in and get his order, I saw more and more customers walking in. It was nice to see. Such a little sign, but definitely a successful business. Will be back again! 😊“

“I go there on Sundays to get there malasadas . I don't know if I spelt that right but it's a Portuguese donut . They have been around for years . I love them . You have to go to this bakery if you want them right . The service there isn't bad. Some of the girls are young and you might have to say the same thing twice . Some mornings the line is down the street . It's worth the wait !“

“I first tried Sweet Sense products for Thanksgiving. What a treat! The cake was delicious & the pumpkin bread was fabulous. Nice & moist. I've been gluten free for 15 years (Celiac) and these are definitely the best desserts I've found. Highly recommend!!!“

“I haven’t been able to find crumpets in the grocery store for about 3 years. I ask about them but when I say crumpets no one has idea of what I am talking about. I was so excited when I went to Market Basket this week and they have them again. I love them with peanut butter on them. Hope they continue to carry them“

“I started going here quite a bit when I was pregnant with my daughter. It was quality food I could trust in a relaxing environment. When my daughter was born, we started taking her regularly. She just turned 3. She grew to not only love the food (which is amazing), but she loves the staff as well. They know her by name and make her feel so special every time she comes in. “I’m from Atlanta and was visiting family in Fairhaven when I was introduced to The Nook. We went almost every day we were in town and even brought some of their amazing Choco Kong muffins back home with us. Also tried their Skooma, Linguicia Rolls, and their cinnamon rolls (the BEST!) The staff was top notch too! If you haven’t tried The Nook, you are missing out on some great coffee, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town!“

One thing I really appreciate is how kind and patient they are. I don’t speak Spanish, but they always take the time to explain the menu to me and make sure I understand what I’m ordering. They never rush me and always make me feel comfortable and welcome.

Jill and Flour Girls Baking Company's beautiful food truck catered our wedding last summer, June 2022. From Jill's caring communication with me throughout the planning process, to her creative collaboration in crafting our catered meal, to the brilliant sandwich, wrap and burrito creations, to the delicious side salads and the exquisite ice cream sandwich cookies that our guests can't stop talking about, our experience with Flour Girls was second to none. Not only did Jill and her team show up with so much professionalism and love and care with our catered meals, but Jill also provided our guests with late night grilled cheese sandwiches that were absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a healthy, catered, high value meal for your next event, look no further than Flour Girls. “I love Rose and Vicky's in Marion, Massachusetts on route 6. I always order takeout and it is always ready when I get there and they always greet me with a smile. The food is amazing I absolutely love their meatballs their meatball subs are the best in Massachusetts. Today I got a steak and cheese to split with my spouse and we half and half them and the steak and cheese was absolutely delicious as everything I have tried here. If hungry and want quality food at reasonable prices this is the place to go plus they have extra large size subs that are definitely worth the price no matter what you get you'll love it. Also they have bakery products that are great as well.“
