“The food is always very good and portions are generous. Baked goods to go are high quality. The service is on the slow side, given how many people are working behind the counter. The atmosphere is average, booths, tables and chairs. It can be very noisy at peak times. It’s nicer to sit at the outdoor tables when weather permits.“

“The decorative work on these pastries is 5 star. I tried the gluten free hazelnut chocolate cookie and did not like it. It was overwhelmingly cinnamon-y and the texture was like an oatmeal bar rather than a soft cookie. I also didn’t enjoy the vegan oat bar, which tasted overwhelmingly of coconut oil.

I DID enjoy the rooibos tea, which was a French tea brand I had never heard of: mariage freres.

It was a lovely subtle flavor, and the tea bags looked unbleached (though I did not verify that).

I would love to come back and try some of the not vegan or gluten free items, as my bakery impression was that things look amazing but have one controlling taste, but I know there was far more here than I tried.

“My partner and I went in on a Sunday morning. The line was almost out the door, but the line went surprisingly quickly. They made a big effort to ensure there is as short of a wait as possible. I got the spinach bagel with the lox cream cheese. It was very delicious, and the spinach bagel tasted perfectly of spinach.“

The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is great but they need to hire more attendants. One person just to answer the phone, do the cash register, take orders and serve is insufficient.“

We discovered them this past spring and ever since have been taking weekly (sometimes 3x a week!) trips here because we love the shakes, teas, and service so much! It’s a family-friendly atmosphere with an extensive menu. Anyone can find something they like — and good luck choosing because with new flavors added each season, there is always more to try! “I highly recommend ordering a custom cake from muffin house. I absolutely loved our recently purchsed spiderman cake. Highly favorable at our party! sweet, but not too sweet. The cake was sponge like, butter cream & strawberries were amazing. Just hands down the best cake & not too over priced either! We will definitely be back for more of your custom cakes for our family parties/Gatherings! Thank you to your entire staff/Team for making our vision come together.

“This is a laid back place with a country store feel. Some indoor seating and an outdoor patio. Stopped by today for some muffin tops and pastries to go.. Muffins, morning glory and blueberry were excellent... very fresh & moist. My pecan and raspberry pastry was enjoyable but a bit dry. A good place for lunch... salads, soups, sandwiches. I open my app and sure enough someone used my giftcard balance to purchase food. I immediately called and the employee confirmed I had an order and passed me to the manager. She immediately canceled my order with a refund and told me the steps to prevent this from happening again. Kudos to this location and manager for helping me!“

A handful of gluten free options and generous seating inside.It feels like a lovely community hangout location.I went earlier this morning, and there was a massive dog, unleashed, pacing out front.I waited for his owner to come and take him away, but no one came.I called the cafe, and the woman I spoke with was kind and understanding, and I asked if she could request the dogs owner to come out and leash him, and then I would come and order.I saw her leave the cafe with the man, and the man seemed to be arguing with her.He waited out front with his dog for maybe 5 min, the two of them pacing back and forth, dog still unleashed, before he made the dog sit again (still, no leash) and went back inside (entitled jerk. Who leaves a dog unleashed in public places, let alone outside a business, let alone a German Shepherd! The dog looked like a police dog).I finally called the police, since the man clearly wasn’t listening to common decency or the cafe’s requests, and the police came to make him leash his dog. I had to leave without food or drink, because I was late for work.Thankfully I had time to stop back later on my lunch break, and there was no dog.I have been attacked before (still dealing with hip and knee injuries from that attack), and it is completely unacceptable for any of me to bring any dog in public without a leash, let alone a huge dog like that.BUT I’m very grateful for the staff willing to address the issue immediately. The server was bold, decisive, and undeterred but the man’s arguing.This customer should be not permitted to come if he does this again. It’s not safe. It’s rude. And if a cafe were to permit this, it would lose business.Thank you for addressing the issue!!!“

“Since being taken over by blue moon, the number of non meat options has been scaled back. However, the quality of the baked goods has increased. They charge extra for non-sairy milks, a bummer. Really like the new seating area that's been added.“

“Such a classic diner! I love their French toast and steak fries in particular. My kids always happy with the pancakes and grilled cheese. I occasionally bring work colleagues and they always enjoy the atmosphere and non-rushed vibe. A few mentioned they weren’t fans of the omelet (1 was egg white, one was straight off menu), but scrambled eggs were a hit. Would love hash browns as menu addition instead of the breakfast potatoes (seems to be never eaten by guests), but otherwise perfection!
Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff is low key in a refreshing way (again, you don’t feel rushed, which is so nice these days), and seating is versatile and comfy

Parking: Free Parking lots to the side (both ends of street), and meter parking in front

Kid-friendliness: Weekdays are generally adults but wkds filled with families (in a good way), no pressure to quiet loud kids! My kids prefer silver dollar pancakes so they often opt for lunch items there at breakfast but works for us! Great neighborhood joint“
