“I love Blue Moon Cafe so much. The vibe in here is always so welcoming. The staff is wonderful as well. Aside from bagels they have a huge selection of baked goods and amazing sandwiches. They have vegan cream cheese. My favorite is the “Montreal Bagel” that is an egg bagel with poppy seeds in the dough, and sesames on top. And the “Big Blue Bagel” which is a plain blue swirled bagel. The proceeds from this bagel go to a local Medfield charity. The coffee is also delicious!“

“Atmosphere is excellent, super relaxed and pleasant. Cushions for sitting available at some spots. Employees always happy to talk and try to educate about the food and tea. The tea is excellent and the variety is great. The food is delicious, I love the quality of the sauces in the Mediterranean platter.“

“A friend brought over a pint each of walnut and chocolate chip gelato for dessert the other night, and I was blown away. Both were so creamy and flavorful, without tasting too sweet.I then found out all their gelatos are lactose free, so no upset stomach after eating a bunch. You order at register, they bring your food, but you return your dishes. The clientele was diverse: white police officers, Asian college students, black women, and families.“

“Mel's is a busy, bustling diner with lots of great menu options. My family has frequented Mel's for many years. Their food is even delicious as takeout to eat at home! Their eggs benedict and bagel sandwiches are to die for. We also love their silver dollar pancakes.“

I had an apple crisp waffle which was a huge waffle with hot apple crisp piled high in the middle with whip cream nicely laid on top. I also had a side of bacon which was done perfectly as well as some raisin toast. My only complaint was there wasn't much butter on the toast and it was a little burnt but that was ok with me. Our waitress was beyond helpful and kind and made sure to check on us throughout. The check at the end was what you would expect for a breakfast and I will definitely be back!“

“On my way to visit my sister-in-law who wasn't feeling well, I stopped in to get her a smoothie. The very nice man said he'd make her something that would make her feel better right away. He did and she did!! I loved what I got, too. We each also got delicious tea. If I lived near there, I'd make it a point to stop in frequently!“

“Right on the center of Dedham Square and conveniently opening everyday at 5:30A, this local bagel shop is serving the best and freshest bagels in town, and by fresh I mean literally baked fresh, daily. On this early saturday morning my husband and I arrived at 8A and thankfully only had to wait in a 10min (meaning: we got lucky) we ordered the bacon and egg plain cheese bagel and the ham and egg and cheese plain bagel. We gave them both a (5/5) . We also tried the iced coffee and the regular hot coffee but as Miamians and Hispanics we're giving that a (-0) I'M SORRY!! It was the worse coffee I've ever had. I really hope Bostonians have better coffee- that was horrible. The service was honestly fast and friendly for how full it was and we loved the mom and pop ambiance. If we're ever back in Boston, we'll be back.“

However the wait seemed to pass quickly as we had an attentive bar tender and enough space to hang out with live music.The food was very good, six people in our party and sense I can't figure out how to do 4-1/2 stars on the rating I'm putting it here. My only slightly issue was the batter on the fish and chips dinner was a little to crispy for my liking, but that's me, otherwise an excellent experience and we will be going back again.“
