“This place is Fantastic. I eat lunch here weekly. The menu selection is huge. Whether it be a sub, pizza. salad, or a dinner everything is super fresh and you will not be disappointed. The Super Roast Beef is probably one of the best beef’s I have had in my life. The chicken kebob salad or Caesar salad is delicious and enough to feed two people. The staff is friendly. The place is clean. Check it out. You will love it!“

“The mexican cesar salad was top tier, the appetizers were all very delicious and the lava cake really ended the night beautifully. The view of the marina and hearing all the seals really added to the vibe and sitting by the fire and having the heat lamp on made it such a cozy atmosphere. Coming back again!“

“Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

“My girls and I attempted to eat at the Salem retreat on our first morning of our trip. We waited 20 minutes for a table after watching 7-10 people be seat AFTER we were given a buzzer to wait. We left and came to Dotty & Rays. We got a table as soon as we walked in, had water brought over immediately, drink and food orders promptly taken. The food was fantastic. We had one part of our order missing and once they realized the issue, it was remedied with speed and courtesy. Everyone was very friendly and renewed our experience in Salem. “When I popped into Mike's for a quick roast beef, I wasn't expecting anything special. I eat a lot of roast beefs and have high standards. I have to say, Mike's impressed me. “We had our “annual” lobsterfest in memory of a buddy of mine and the place we used last time closed. I had forgotten about the Lobster Tail, but I have to say. We will use them every year. Their Clam Bake to go was AMAZING! The food was delicious, the lobsters were pre-cracked, everything was just good. Dan and the rest of the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with each other with cocktails (about an hour!), He paid for a round of drinks because we wanted to order from the brunch menu but missed it because we talked for so long. He said it was his fault for not reminding us! Unheard of! He let us have a leisurely 3 hour lunch, with no pressure at all, and was very attentive when we needed him. “Best roast beef you’re going to find if you love a piping hot, perfectly rare cooked north shore style roast beef on a toasted bun. I always liked roast beef’s but Bella’s turned me onto them big time in the last few months and I now regularly every week or two make the 20 minute drive from New Hampshire to Bella’s and get a beef. As a small business owner I have a ton of respect for the owner that I still haven’t personally talked to but he always says hi and waves from the back where he consistently produces amazing food and I always see him doing things like bringing lunch down to the firehouse- small businesses that do things like this for the community should always be recognized. Long story short- give this place a shot and you’ll likely find your new favorite spot for roast beef and other great food!“

Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! “I went to Grassfields Food & Spirits for the first time yesterday for lunch. I had my 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with me. By gods grace my kids have always been easy to take to dinner without stress, however yesterday my son wasn’t particularly feeling the best because he is cutting a new tooth so he was screaming his head off (on and off) and my daughter accidentally leaned too hard on one side of the table which flipped up the opposite end and my entire, full, iced tea fell and spilled all over the floor. I must give a shout out to the staff there for being so kind and handling the situation with empathy and respect. If I could have anticipated that the kids wouldn’t do well at the restaurant I would have opted for lunch to go (which is what I ended up doing anyway after all that). The waitresses did not give me an attitude or dirty looks or get upset, instead they offered to clean up the mess for me and get me a new iced tea. It may seem like a small gesture but it didn’t go unnoticed because not everyone is as kind, understanding and patient. It’s proven in the death stare I did get from another diner lol. I also must mention that when we finally got home and ate the food was fantastic! The kids teriyaki chicken and rice pilaf was the best! My scallops Florentine was delicious too! I will be back for sure… maybe without the kids next time lol.“

“My hubby is the manager at Antons cleaners next door to liberty and when I come in with him on early days etc etc, I always- I mean ALWAYS people!- get us liberty bell for lunch. It’s the best roast beef sandwich you can find and it’s consistently made the same way so you can expect that high quality with every order honestly. Their online ordering is smooth and simple and they’re super safe upon pickup and following any and every Covid precaution there is!
