“The Boat House is the perfect casual dining restaurant on Nantucket. Salads, bowls, burritos, burgers — and an island flair. The people who run the Boat House are loving, kind and generous. “Looking for breakfast places on the island can be a challenge. Noticing there's more accommodation outside than there is inside this particular day was raining so the inside was very busy. Very good customer service waited a little bit for fast food noticing the kitchen had an open window so you can see all the activity that was interesting. So I ordered the signature 45th sandwich on sourdough bread eggless cook perfect medium not to runny not too hard bacon was a little overdone cheese could have been a little more they included napkins on the takeaway bag order the hazelnut latte didn't really taste much hazelnut. I guess I'm a snob when it comes to lattes.”

“Absolutely love this place. Not fancy dining but checks all the boxes as far as food quality and service. Jenn is an exceptional bartender who makes you feel like family. Has become my place to go for a casual dining establishment.”

“We had an amazing lunch with Jacob as our server. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food choices plus history of the restaurant. I had the pork shoulder. Being from Virginia, we love pork BBQ. This was fantastic with fantastic cornbread as my side. My native Texas husband had the burnt ends which he inhaled. He indicated that if we lived in Nantucket, he’d regularly have it. Texans love their bbq and he loved this.”

Also the hummus was great and you must try the crab dip ! Wedge salad was delicious, fresh and crispy mini iceberg heads that I’ve never had before.”

“SnACKle - not only a great name but service to match! I needed catering for a fishing trip leaving from the Straight Wharf. It doesn't get more convenient than SnACKle. I ordered a charcuterie board, beverages, snacks which were packaged and ready to go when I arrived for the pick up. The smaller of the boards was the perfect size for 6 people on a fishing boat with limited space. The owners of SnACKle (I just love that name) are dedicated to making it a great experience and are so helpful. Thank you SnACKle - I'll be back!!!”

“We went here for a birthday dinner and everything was remarkable. They were able to get us in without a reservation and treated us SO well. Stephanie was so lovely and recommended the most amazing dishes. The food here was absolutely amazing, and I’ll be thinking about the Brussels sprouts and kale salad for a while. Would totally go again!”

“Haven’t had food like this (at least often) since we left NYC for LA. Beautifully executed, thoughtful, and delicious. We got a little of everything—Parker House roll w/caviar, smoked fish dip, lettuces, mushrooms, smashed potatoes, broccoli, and steelhead special. Had a ton of food to take home. Given the focused menu, we appreciated the smart inclusion of protein (caviar, nuts, seeds, etc) in just about every app/vegetable plate. Our server, Jen, was also excellent— helped us build a great pescatarian meal down to the wine pairing. Cheers to the team here.”

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!”

First time ordering a burger and some fries and honestly, pretty decent foe the price out here. The stuff they have in the warmer around lunch ain't half bad too (decent pepper chicken with some fried rice) I appreciate this little place.”

“Small little takeout not dine in food is so authentic I had the panty chicken it was absolutely delicious. They know what they're doing there nine people were on staff the cashier was very nice greeted me with a huge smile. They offer Bobo they make their own ice cream they make all their food authentic from Thailand one of the owners mentioned that she goes there every year just to make sure things are running well that is Thailand. This is definitely authentic Thai food hard to find on a remote island. I noticed they had several Awards and they also are all up to date with ServSafe My thumbs are up for this particular restaurant I will be back to try more of their food????”

“I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.”

“I’ve eaten here several times and it always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very lively. Remind you of a club or restaurant you would see in posh Miami but with the Naples vibe definitely will be back eat outside if you can it’s great.”

“This is not Karen this is Kenny B and this there is no finer place to be, I've Been Everywhere Man cross the mountain bear man breathed the Mountain Air man and there is no finer unless you're deep in a? Well you know, in the morning? Top Notch nothing but the best all around and Sam loves it too, my place also has a bartenderess named Sam what could be better, and as a bartenderess I have never met feiner and I have been around for those who don't know me, I'm not only an old hippie that don't know what to do but I've spent some time on both sides of the bar and she is Bar None Stellar personal service and you don't find that much no more oh, that's all I have to say about that, you will have to make your own decisions Beyond this report”

“Okay so this starts out rough but ends amazing, really hard location to find it's near an elementary school and inside a ice skating rink Pete is the owner spoke to him he's been there for 15 years I had a soup and pan Thai chicken the chicken was the best I've ever had the soup had a little too much coconut oil and it was a little too runny would have enjoyed it better if it was heavier consistency owner is from Thailand so it's authentic food noticed most of the chefs were ladies if you want authentic food check him out I'm headed to Thailand in November so I will have some sort of contrast to see on Thai food”

“No frills pizza spot but this is the closest to "NYC style" pizza on the island. Cash only if you go in person but you can pay via cc if you order for pick up online. Toppings are expensive and aren't the best quality (ex. canned mushrooms) but that won't stop me from ordering a plain pizza when the craving hits.”

“This is our “go to” pizza on Nantucket. By far the best crust anywhere. All toppings are generous and a large pizza is huge.”

“During our time in Nantucket, a local raved about this bakery's "morning bun" to my fiancé! We stopped in the following day and after one bite, as advertised, we tasted the difference.”

“I was on the day off and decided to take my friend on a nice and relaxing dinner. We haven’t had American Seasons on our radar yet this season so far so we have decided to go there. Everything was more than outstanding. We sat at the bar and our bartender Ana was so helpful. Her knowledge of the drinks and the menu was out of this world. We had a lovely time talking to her and she made the whole experience even better for us. The food was delicious. The combination of the flavours was really interesting and I would say this is one of the best menus on the island hands down. The server Mina who worked inside of the restaurant came by and helped us decide on the dessert option.”

“The 4 star review is for the staff. They work tirelessly and their efforts are appreciated. Despite a busy weekend holiday, staff really made the lines flow out quickly and efficiently.

Now to the beer. I must say I was dissapointed. It could not be my style of beer but I did notice the quality of cisco consistently falls sideways as they continue regional expansion, even their classics are somewhat unrecognizable nowadays. Fortunately for them they have branded themselves so well--most will equate it with Cape/Island Beach Beer..If you are a big IPA drinker, I can see the hype, but if you enjoy lagers and ales I'd skip wholeheartedly....

Overall, Cisco has a fantastic setup, I just thought the beer would be better.”
