“Walters deli is amazing. The food was just was we were looking for. On a surprisingly warm October day, a quick grab and go lunch was right. Cold lobster roll on a perfectly toasted and buttered bun. Turkey club on delicious wheat. Couple of gatorades. Nice and light. All eaten on a bench under a shade tree. kept us moving during our day trip to Nantucket”

“The Boat House is the perfect casual dining restaurant on Nantucket. Salads, bowls, burritos, burgers — and an island flair. The people who run the Boat House are loving, kind and generous. Can’t recommend it enough for families and anyone who wants great food. We eat here every time we come to the island and are always happy.”

“As someone who takes pride in choosing thoughtful, high-quality accommodations when traveling, I can confidently say that Greydon House in Nantucket exceeded expectations. Located right in the heart of downtown, it was the perfect choice for a weekend stay. I specifically wanted to be close to the Steamship Authority ferry, great restaurants, and downtown shopping—and this location delivered on all fronts.

From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and a personable, attentive manager who set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The location couldn’t be more convenient: a three-minute walk to one of the best lobster rolls you’ll ever have at Walter’s, a charming coffee and pastry shop directly across the street, and the Whaling Museum just steps away.

Given the unbeatable location, we weren’t expecting much from the room itself—but we were genuinely impressed. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with high-end toiletries, beautiful shower tile, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Harney & Sons tea and quality coffee were available all day, which was a much-appreciated touch.

One of the highlights of our stay was Via Mare, the on-site restaurant. Although we enjoyed every meal during our visit to Nantucket, this restaurant stood out. The oysters were among the best I’ve ever had, and the cocktails were both creative and delicious.

Despite the cool weather, we found ourselves drawn again and again to the charming side porch. Whether we were reading, chatting, watching the Memorial Day parade, or enjoying takeout meals, it became a favorite spot throughout our stay.

Greydon House offers a rare combination of location, charm, and service—and we’ll absolutely be returning.”

“Looking for breakfast places on the island can be a challenge. Noticing there's more accommodation outside than there is inside this particular day was raining so the inside was very busy. Very good customer service waited a little bit for fast food noticing the kitchen had an open window so you can see all the activity that was interesting. So I ordered the signature 45th sandwich on sourdough bread eggless cook perfect medium not to runny not too hard bacon was a little overdone cheese could have been a little more they included napkins on the takeaway bag order the hazelnut latte didn't really taste much hazelnut. I guess I'm a snob when it comes to lattes.”

“We had an amazing lunch with Jacob as our server. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food choices plus history of the restaurant. I had the pork shoulder. Being from Virginia, we love pork BBQ. This was fantastic with fantastic cornbread as my side. My native Texas husband had the burnt ends which he inhaled. He indicated that if we lived in Nantucket, he’d regularly have it. Texans love their bbq and he loved this.”

“Went with a party of 7, everyone said their meals were excellent. Lobster risotto was the best I’ve had and the halibut was excellent. Service was friendly and on time. Also the hummus was great and you must try the crab dip ! Wedge salad was delicious, fresh and crispy mini iceberg heads that I’ve never had before.”

“SnACKle - not only a great name but service to match! I needed catering for a fishing trip leaving from the Straight Wharf. It doesn't get more convenient than SnACKle. I ordered a charcuterie board, beverages, snacks which were packaged and ready to go when I arrived for the pick up. The smaller of the boards was the perfect size for 6 people on a fishing boat with limited space. The owners of SnACKle (I just love that name) are dedicated to making it a great experience and are so helpful. Thank you SnACKle - I'll be back!!!”

“I’ve eaten here several times and it always exceeds my expectations. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very lively. Remind you of a club or restaurant you would see in posh Miami but with the Naples vibe definitely will be back eat outside if you can it’s great.”

“We went here for a birthday dinner and everything was remarkable. They were able to get us in without a reservation and treated us SO well. Stephanie was so lovely and recommended the most amazing dishes. The food here was absolutely amazing, and I’ll be thinking about the Brussels sprouts and kale salad for a while. “Haven’t had food like this (at least often) since we left NYC for LA. Beautifully executed, thoughtful, and delicious. We got a little of everything—Parker House roll w/caviar, smoked fish dip, lettuces, mushrooms, smashed potatoes, broccoli, and steelhead special. Had a ton of food to take home. Given the focused menu, we appreciated the smart inclusion of protein (caviar, nuts, seeds, etc) in just about every app/vegetable plate. Our server, Jen, was also excellent— helped us build a great pescatarian meal down to the wine pairing. Cheers to the team here.”

“I just had the best 70th birthday dinner here! Chef Joseph created a delicious menu and paired wines. The Company Popovers accompanied a crisp Caesar salad, Wagyu beef and a lobster tail with smashed potatoes & broccolini was the entree, rounded out with “The Marriage of Crème Brûlée + Chocolate Mousse” and Dows Fine Sherry Port. The service was spectacular (thank you Johnny) and the intimate and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful experience for my party of 10. I recommend this place for a singular and memorable experience!”

“I have been going to Nantucket for years and finally found Island Kitchen this past August; one of the best meals to be had on the island. We ate outside by the bar and despite a bit of rainy weather; we throughly enjoyed the atmosphere and cuisine; the service was excellent and we have earmarked a return visit this August.”

First time ordering a burger and some fries and honestly, pretty decent foe the price out here. The stuff they have in the warmer around lunch ain't half bad too (decent pepper chicken with some fried rice) I appreciate this little place.”

“Okay so this starts out rough but ends amazing, really hard location to find it's near an elementary school and inside a ice skating rink Pete is the owner spoke to him he's been there for 15 years I had a soup and pan Thai chicken the chicken was the best I've ever had the soup had a little too much coconut oil and it was a little too runny would have enjoyed it better if it was heavier consistency owner is from Thailand so it's authentic food noticed most of the chefs were ladies if you want authentic food check him out I'm headed to Thailand in November so I will have some sort of contrast to see on Thai food”

“I was on the day off and decided to take my friend on a nice and relaxing dinner. We haven’t had American Seasons on our radar yet this season so far so we have decided to go there. Everything was more than outstanding. We sat at the bar and our bartender Ana was so helpful. Her knowledge of the drinks and the menu was out of this world. We had a lovely time talking to her and she made the whole experience even better for us. The food was delicious. The combination of the flavours was really interesting and I would say this is one of the best menus on the island hands down. The server Mina who worked inside of the restaurant came by and helped us decide on the dessert option.”
