The Pearl Reviews
STUNNING ambiance, the food was incredible, love that it was within the same block as our hotel (The Faraway) for our first night in town! We went to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and they gifted us champagne to celebrate! That cornbread was phenomenal- best I’ve ever had (and we live in Charleston, SC, so that’s significant)! Rating should be much higher!! We loved the food and service. Swordfish and chicken mains were great !
The rating on the Pearl should be much higher. The food was amazing!! Was a very pleasant experience and I can’t wait to go back!! Love the names of some of the creative cocktails as well. Fun!
The Pearl offers a modern, white, and romantic dining experience with an Asian-inspired menu. The service is generally good, with knowledgeable servers and prompt food delivery. The menu features highlights like cornbread, rangoons, and short rib. While the cocktails can be hit-or-miss, the overall taste is acceptable. The prices, however, are described as "ridiculously expensive." Dessert is not the main draw, and it may not be the best place to bring children. The patio seating is noted as lovely, and the sommelier provides great recommendations. Some classic dishes could use refreshing, but the tomahawk ribeye, 60-second egg/steak, and wok-tossed crab noodles are standouts. The Pearl is an interesting and unique dining destination, worth a visit, but with the expectation of a higher price tag. Customers have enjoyed the stunning ambiance, incredible food, and the chef's signature cornbread, which has been praised as the best they've ever had.
