I had the mango curry with duck and it was pure magic; sweet, savory, and perfectly spiced. If you love curry or thai food, this is the spot. Don’t sleep on the lunch deals either (~$12)

“Our Girl Scout troop met at the Framingham location for ice cream and a Valentine’s Day card swap. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our large, high-energy group. They had excellent food allergy protocols. Great ice cream and reasonable prices.“

“The food and ambiance was delightful. The gin basil smash was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The beat salad and tuna tartare were both excellent, as well as the spaghetti vongole (one of my favorite meals). Overall a great night, pricey, knew that going in, but worth it.“

“I have been going to Grassfields for many years and have been very pleased. The past few times I have been there I ordered the broiled scallops and have been disappointed. The muscle on the scallops are not removed which are very tough to eat. Also I feel they are gritty. I am hoping that someone reads this and corrects the issue because Grassfields is a lovely place.“

I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings, the lychee martini was sublime and very tasty, the pear necessities was very interesting on the tongue. It had great flavor and just kept you intrigued with every sip. I tried the potato croquettes and loved the chipotle style sauce that came with them. Wagyu dumplings were divine, everything just melded so well together and left you wanting another bite. I finished my meal with the steak frites which was cooked well but I wish the steak had a bigger portion (it’s def a me thing) the sauce was well prepared and I was very satisfied with how it all went together.“

I make a point of going there at least once a week. They have a great selection of ready-to-slice meats and cheeses; they have delicious prepared meals; they have pasta and potato salads; soups, when they can... They also have seasonal fresh produce.“

“We stopped in on the way home from the airport, and it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere and food were awesome. I highly recommend the Mickey’s Chicken special and the red sangria which was a deep dark red- as sangria should be. Yum! My children loved our Irish waitress who Made them laugh and feel special. This restaurant is over an hour from where we live, but there is no doubt we will travel back often. Wonderful experience!“

“Our waiter greeted us promptly and gave us great service. Make sure you try Legal's New England clam chowder. The chowder was delicious and had plenty of clams. I think it's one of the best clam chowders in the area. My husband and I both had the hot buttered lobster roll which was very good with a generous portion of lobster meat. The sides can be substituted. The szechuan green beans were very good and not spicy at all. Sweet potatoes with pecans were also very good. As a somewhat regular dinner, Legal's Reward program and the great food keeps us returning. We earned a free cup of clam chowder for our purchase to use on our next visit.“

The creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes are big faovorites too. Wine and coctails were equally satisfying and very well prepared. Service was very polite and timely but not obtrusive. “Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

“This fabulous restaurant never changes! It's as I remember it 30 plus years ago when I used to meet work friends for dinner when working in Waltham. I met up with 3 work friends recently and the memories came flooding back. They have kept the restaurant in great condition, the Service is friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing! I love the old school atmosphere and different dining rooms. I had the toasted ravioli with meatball and meat sauce with a side salad. Perfect portion for lunch. Prices are so reasonable. So worth the trip from the South Shore.“

Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! “I recently learned about this place through my friends and had a great experience. The food was well prepared especially the Ma Po tofu and the Spicy beef in Sichuan style. They also offer a wide variety of cocktails and beer. The service was excellent and the food came out decently quick. “Got a reservation for 8 and then decided to change up the plans. Called to see if there was any way to get a table (at 6 on a Saturday night) and the Host said we could not have a dining table but they would hold a table in lounge for us and we took it. This restaurant is beautiful. The hostess was so kind and knew who we were when we walked in. We were celebrating an anniversary and that was acknowledged by the hostess, and multiple servers. They even put a cut little card on the table saying Happy Anniversary. I thought this was really cute and I've never seen that done at a restaurant before. We both got the filet mignon, cooked med well and mid-well and both steaks were cooked to perfect. Sides were French fries (so good) and mashed potatoes (also good I don't even like mashed potatoes). The bread was so good and I got the sweet and spicy margarita, which was amazing. Vanilla bean creme brulee dessert - loved! Can't wait to go back and try something else.“
