“Got a eggplant sub and it was out of this world good!!!! The bread was so delicious which really makes a huge difference in the taste. The eggplant was cooked perfectly perfect sliced and crispness! The sauce and cheese was good not over powering. Could use the cheese spread out some more would be my only suggestion. “We have been going to Uchi since the opening week, and the food and service have only improved over time. We get takeout most weeks, and have enjoyed every item we've ordered, from various appetizers (we love the shrimp shumai) to entrees of sushi, ramen, fried rice, etc., to the fried ice cream dessert. Everything is delicious, the staff are friendly and recognize regulars, and we always enjoy ourselves when we eat in.“

“This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza, and it was fantastic. The build your own pizza option was ideal for group of friends out shopping and enjoying Boston. The original crust is perfectly thin and crispy and tasted freshly made. You get to choose your own sauce and they have many options. I got the creamy white sauce base with mozzarella, grilled chicken, black olives, roasted broccoli, and mushrooms. It was so good and was 6 reasonably sized slices. I brought half of mine home. You’d think a custom made pizza would take awhile, but it didn’t. The pizza oven was right in front so you could see your pizza cooking. They have a few dessert options, but we were too full to try any. I do think the s’mores pie would have been gooey perfection with just a few seconds in the pizza oven. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!“

The food at Smokehouse BBQ is so good! This is a regular go-to for me when I want hearty comfort food. The brisket is tender and juicy, the smokehouse stew is warm and filling, and the cornbread is sweet with the perfect texture. Highly recommended!!“

“I did not think they had the biggest selection but it was good and love the strawberry lemonade refresher with boba. And it was also a bit pricey. I liked the atmosphere and it was really clean and a pretty nice building and it’s around a good area with a bus stop right outside. I recommend building your own poke bowl and getting a drink because they are all good. Also the vegetables are very fresh.

This restaurant was such a lovely reprieve. We were there for several hours and never once felt unwelcome and received courteous friendly service from everyone who interacted with us. “We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded - I think because it hasn't yet been discovered as it's off the beaten path, tucked behind the Alewife T station amidst the apartment buildings there. They have a lovely ambience with spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit as well as a spacious indoor dining area that doesn't make you feel crowded next to strangers. The restaurant offers a small menu but with very interesting flavor combinations - especially among their house cocktails - and there was something for everyone (vegetarian or carnivore).
