“We went to cook on a Sunday for brunch on a table of 5 with 3 kids. Our server was Johnny who not only had everything on point but did absolutely everything to make sure we felt welcome, the kids were entertained (with extra drawings and crayons requests) and all that while he was training another server.

The food was really good (so much so that we plan to come back soon), we had draft and cocktails and we just didn’t try dessert, but the ambiance was nice, wasn’t too full and is definitely a great location to come back to.“

“What a find! This is close to our doctor's office and a Trader Joe's, so we noticed it. Saw it's often busy. Checked it out today. Wonderful! In these times, very upscale for the price. Delicious well made food. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Shared a pepperoni pizza, arugula salad, and homemade donut bites for dessert. The pizza was perfect - crust, sauce, toppings - all quality. Nice dressing on the fresh arugula salad. Those Nutella donut bites - yummy. Wish there was a place this good at this price in our hometown. Have not found one yet.“

Now, I don’t recommend being a pain like me and asking for them for things on short notice, but this situation really helped me understand more about their business and how they treat their customers. “Got a eggplant sub and it was out of this world good!!!! The bread was so delicious which really makes a huge difference in the taste. The eggplant was cooked perfectly perfect sliced and crispness! The sauce and cheese was good not over powering. Could use the cheese spread out some more would be my only suggestion. Would definitely go back and order the same and then try something different too!“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.

The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.

One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.

Not only is it vegetarian, but almost every dish can be made vegan, which is just amazing!
I had the vegan version of the breakfast burrito and it was super tasty, especially with the roasted Brussels sprouts on the side ,so good. I wasn’t crazy about the slightly sweet sauce, but with a bit of salt and their hot sauce it was perfect.
The waitress was so sweet, and the whole vibe was a 10/10. There’s so much more on the menu I want to try, so I’m definitely coming back!“

“We hosted our small wedding reception here in a private room. It was so lovely- everyone had enjoyed the wedding but the food and atmosphere was really a lovely way to celebrate the event.
Tommer was incredibly responsive and helpful in selecting food and wine and explaining how the day would go. Rebecca was a helpful server and even brought out extras to the car at the end of the night.
Our families are still talking about the food, especially the bacon-wrapped plantains and the churros. We loved that instead of a wedding cake we had churros and the incredible chocolate sauce. The salads were delicious and I especially loved the tortilla Española.
My mom is planning to go back again very soon and my partner and I are excited to return for another meal. We would recommend this to anyone.“

I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

The music was weird - they were playing kids music (Baby Shark, etc???) and kept changing it. Seemed like someone didnt know how to load in the proper playlist?

Service was pretty good. Waitress made recommendations, refilled water etc.

I had higher expectations for the food given how far in advance you have to make a reservation. I now realize it's probably a function of the size of Celeste rather than the food quality. It didnt blow me away but was good and comforting. The price point is high for what it is.

Overall a good experience, but I am not dying to go back!“
