The food is outstanding but what it makes more special is the service and kindness from the staff. Johnny is the absolute best and he has always taken great care of us and remembered us. “Got a eggplant sub and it was out of this world good!!!! The bread was so delicious which really makes a huge difference in the taste. The eggplant was cooked perfectly perfect sliced and crispness! The sauce and cheese was good not over powering. Could use the cheese spread out some more would be my only suggestion. Would definitely go back and order the same and then try something different too!“

Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.

The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.

One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.

Overall Poe-lenta is absolutely worth trying if you are visiting Time Out Market or spending time around Fenway. Between the perfectly portioned dishes, the rich flavors, and the welcoming staff, it is the kind of spot you want to return to again and again.“

Total dining time was 2 hours. Found street parking but I can see where this wouldn't be as possible during busier times of year. Bar is first come first serve and people start lining up around 4:30.“

The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. “Wow, it was such a treat to have breakfast at a place with no meat in the U.S.!
Not only is it vegetarian, but almost every dish can be made vegan, which is just amazing!
I had the vegan version of the breakfast burrito and it was super tasty, especially with the roasted Brussels sprouts on the side ,so good. I wasn’t crazy about the slightly sweet sauce, but with a bit of salt and their hot sauce it was perfect.
The waitress was so sweet, and the whole vibe was a 10/10. There’s so much more on the menu I want to try, so I’m definitely coming back!“

“We hosted our small wedding reception here in a private room. It was so lovely- everyone had enjoyed the wedding but the food and atmosphere was really a lovely way to celebrate the event.
Tommer was incredibly responsive and helpful in selecting food and wine and explaining how the day would go. Rebecca was a helpful server and even brought out extras to the car at the end of the night.
Our families are still talking about the food, especially the bacon-wrapped plantains and the churros. We loved that instead of a wedding cake we had churros and the incredible chocolate sauce. The salads were delicious and I especially loved the tortilla Española.
My mom is planning to go back again very soon and my partner and I are excited to return for another meal. We would recommend this to anyone.“
