“Got a eggplant sub and it was out of this world good!!!! The bread was so delicious which really makes a huge difference in the taste. The eggplant was cooked perfectly perfect sliced and crispness! The sauce and cheese was good not over powering. Could use the cheese spread out some more would be my only suggestion. “What a great new spot! I’m always on the hunt for good ramen and this place certainly hits the mark. It’s a small place with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. The food isn’t cheap but it’s not exorbitant either, and you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was speedy and we didn’t feel at all rushed taking our time over our food.

“I have been going here for a while, and while the food is always good, it has felt a bit chaotic since the new owner took over. I think she just needs more time to work out a better system. I waited a while for our food the last time I was there (on a Saturday night), and she was clearly overwhelmed. The food, however, is always delicious, and I really enjoyed the special. “Very small place that can't Accommodate more than two customers at a time. Tough on customers during snow/rains with zero provisions for shelter outside.
The pastries are a saving grace, by the way. Nothing distinguishing about their sourdough and other bread varieties though good (slightly expensive). Their flour-free chocolate cake takes the cake for innovation and taste.
If only they would make an effort to combine the coffee shop next door (also owned/leased by clearflour mgmt.) they could customer convenience that bit more amenable.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“The food, atmosphere and customer service is top tier. It was worth every penny. The food feels like your abuela is in the back cooking with love. The presentation is chic and luxurious. It feels like you were transported to Cuba. You greeted as soon as you walk in and the waitress and waiters go above and beyond to make sure you’re okay. This has to be on my top 5 places to eat in Cambridge. I wish I knew about this place before I graduate. I will be back. The ropa vieja is so good. It’s a traditional dish.“

“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!“
