“We love Bar25. When ever we have guests stay with us in Newburyport we make sure to end the weekend with a night at Bar25. It’s so much more than a place to eat. The food is out of this world, and the whole energy in the room is perfection. We love bringing our friends here because it’s an experience. Bar25 is producing what so many restaurants wish they could do. 10/10 from the food, the drinks, the staff and the vibe.”

“Great Pizza! I was in your shop on Saturday, 29 Oct. This is what I have been searching for. The pizza reminds me of what I used to get in the 1940's and 1950's at pizzerias and barrooms. Thin, with the cheese and tomato spread right up to the edges. Almost foldable but not stiff. The flavor is satisfying and peaceful with a cold drink. The staff was extremely polite and accommodated me with a spaghetti sauce that was not on the menu. Judging from the continuous phone calls and pick-up orders, a lot of people have already discovered you and share my taste . Keep doing the Good pizzas. What a taste! When you've ordered tastey pizza, you know it at the first bite.”

“amazing food, really friendly people. awesome place to gather and have fun. sitting outside is great! inside also has this homey atmosphere you really feel welcome at the paddle inn! the staff really go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. if you're unsure what you want to eat they'll be happy to recommend! I haven't experienced the bar myself but from what I hear it's also great!”

“Just had a Cabo turkey melt from here. Might have been the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Bread was super fresh, chimichurri sauce was delicious and the jalapeño Cole slaw on the sandwich gave a nice little kick.”

“I’m not sure which was better… the phenomenal smoothie I had - The Avery Special - or the superior customer service. My smoothie was the perfect balance of banana, peanut butter, and cacao nibs. I was thrilled to see so many options for me with several food intolerances. It is so apparent just how much love and hard work the co-owners put into their business. They were genuinely interested in my feedback on the smoothie and clearly care about a positive customer experience. While I waited for my smoothie, I had the loveliest conversation with Sophia, the young woman working the register. I enjoyed learning more about the menu and what some of her favorites are. I cannot wait to try more of the menu!”

“Great experience. Crowded and noisy but the service was prompt and friendly. Food was unexpectedly good. Had the crab enchilada special which was great, despite not using Heron Point crab meat. Beer salad was fresh and balanced. Mahi tacos were moist and crispy. Overall, great!”

“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!”

“My hat's off to the wait staff there. While my wife and I were trying to leave there today there was a tremendous rain downpour. A couple of young staff scrambled to find an umbrella. One of the help came over to us as we stood just outside the entry door and handed us the umbrella and said that someone left it behind probably months ago and asked us to take it. This is just a sample of the attentiveness of the staff at Angie's. We always have a great dining experience there.”

“Randomly stumbled upon this gem. WOW! The absolute best Greek pizza I ever had. He made it in less then 10 mins and it was a standard cheese pizza but I could definitely taste the herbs. Incredible. Will be back I'm sure of it.”

Fish tacos were good they had A LOT of sauce on them almost too much and I love sauces. Very kid friendly. The counter employee was super friendly and polite and willing to let our party each pay individually.”

“I was just there tonight which is Boxing Day 2022. I am giving black cow a a 3 because I was shocked at the prices. We had 1 sushi roll,1 shrimp app and 3 drinks ..90 bucks. (Don’t forget a Jim bean rocks with 1 good cherry 14 dollars) and about 1 1/2 fingers of amaretto straight)for 11 dollars) You’re better off spending your money somewhere else.. honestly. I’m a chef and understand rising costs however this is crazy however the service was pretty solid.”

“I just had the best brownie in my whole life here at Plume Cafe. Most brownies (and cookies) are so sweet, it's like eating a pound of sugar, but not here. The brownie was perfect - not too sweet and moist (more like cake). It was so good. I had a cup of hot chocolate to go with it, and that too, was very good! The young woman at the counter was very nice and fast. I highly recommend this place!”

“We were in heaven ordering from here! So many options. I got a Buddha bowl with chili agave glazed tofu and my partner got a bahn mi with a side of spicy cucumber salad. We were impressed by how fresh everything tasted, it came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Great selection of juices too. In less than 12 hours we’ve already retuned for breakfast 🤣 They have lots of beautiful juices - we got the Smurf juice and sweet & spicy beach, blueberry mountain waffle with a side of superfood fridge. It was delicious. Third time around - strawberry waffles, mushroom toast, hot and meatless breakfast place. Strawberry latte and hot coffee. All 10/10! Updated from previous review on 2025-04-04”

“Excellent food with tons of choices. The managers and staff are personable and overall very helpful. I love bringing my kids in for food and live music (they love the rolls). Chowder is fantastic my favorite starter. You can’t beat the views and the atmosphere overall.”

I especially appreciate their impeccable customer service. Every order is fulfilled quickly and with care. An online order mishap was handled with professionalism and courtesy by Emma, with whom it is a joy to interact. Lareina is another employee who is able to juggle multiple tasks and answer any questions with ease. I always look forward to seeing these two on any visit!”
