“This is a hidden gem! We stopped here randomly while traveling home from Boston. We got zucchini pillows and beet salad for appetizers. They were fabulous and flavorful! For dinner we got gnocchi and chicken parm. Probably the best we have ever had! Delicious and good size portions. We had tiramisu for dessert. It was excellent! Great meal start to finish. Our waitress, the owner's daughter was personable , sweet, efficient and great to talk to. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!”

“I tried this place yesterday for the first time and I am so impressed! So far I’ve had the tabbouleh, the Israeli salad, baked fish with veggies, challah and chocolate babka and they were all so, go good! I still have frozen soups and a mushroom pot pie to try and can’t wait to eat my way through them this week for lunch. The fish was so good I can hardly believe it was frozen. My daughter kept asking for bites so I will be sure to buy multiple next time. I’ve been meaning to try this place and wish I’d gotten here sooner. They are gluten and dairy free and mostly meat free as well. A lot of their ingredients are organic and they use quality oil. They were telling me while I was there that they grind some of their flours in house. You can taste the quality! It’s so nice to have a safe, healthy and DELICIOUS option for take out! This place is worth the trip and I will absolutely be back. 😊”

“Went to buy a cake and the process was beyond easy! Cake was ready to go and my family loved it, I ordered the Maria luisa cake and it tasted just like how it does in Colombia. I can’t wait to go back to try other things.”

“Love the food. Miso ramen broth was great. Music they played was very irritating. They played the cover version of pop songs. I wish they would just play the real version of the songs. It sounded like in those YouTube videos when they can’t play the real version because of copyright. Love the food though!”

“I came here with my family and got to try a lot of things! Most dishes were above average. The salt and pepper calamari was particularly good, so we would definitely try more salt and pepper dishes next time. The Sichuan boiled fish fillet was also good.

The lobster with vermicelli was pretty tasty, but we would want to try the ginger scallion lobster next time for the bolder flavors. We were also sitting next to the lobster/fish tank, and it didn't seem that clean..

The dungeness crab with sticky rice was quite bland, unfortunately. The shrimp with snow peas was decent but nothing special.

Overall we would probably choose items that have stronger flavors next time. The menu is huge, so there's a lot left to try!”

“Quality ingredients. A sublime attention to detail. Balance in salty, umami and heat. The broccoli Caesar is a must have along with the homemade ricotta. I sat at Chefs counter and got wonderful attention from everyone. Amazing!”

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.”

She had a judgmental and unhelpful attitude while we were choosing our meals. She suddenly brought the check even though we didn't ask for it, as if she wanted us to leave.”

“Stopped in on a Thursday night with the family, no reservations, and waited about 35 minutes for a table. Totally worth it.

We ordered two pizzas, the burrata salad, and a charcuterie board, and everything hit the mark. The pizzas were perfectly cooked, great crust and flavor, the burrata was fresh and creamy, and the charcuterie board was exactly what you’d hope for—quality meats and cheeses done right.

Food came out quick, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was casual but lively.

Bottom line: food was mad good, everyone left happy, and I’d absolutely come back.”

“The food was delicious, great pasta and pizza, tons of flavor, and the crème brûlée très lèches cake for dessert was so special and delicious. We celebrated a birthday and the service was kind and quick. They even gave us celebratory prosecco and sang happy birthday to my friend. Would definitely go back!”

“Oysters were AMAZING!! Crab salad was 10/10!! I get a Butter Lobster roll every time I see it on the menu at every restaurant. Sad to say I rate their warm butter lobster roll a 7/10. Our drinks were 10/10. Everything was so good. Our server was also great. Definitely would recommend and will return soon!”

“This is the first review I've ever written (seriously!), and to be honest I'm writing it as I sit here with a friend of mine looking at the website, talking about miscellaneous stuff (like me not having ever written a review), and I was telling her about when my partner and I went to Zuzu's Petals a couple of years ago (my friend will be in Cambridge soon and I was giving her a recommendation).

We love this place! We're not regulars as we only go to Boston occasionally to see my partner's sister and family, but whenever we're in town we try to go at least one night. It's so refreshing to have a space with no phones, at least for a little while, YA KNOW?!? Of course I'm writing this on a screen, so the irony is not lost on me, but a break from screens? I'll take it.

Last time we were there the record player (vinyl, of course!) was playing Bowie, Stones among others - again, refreshing to hear full albums - and I think we had a cheese plate and few glasses of wine and of course dessert. It's always been a nice time for us and we highly recommend! And thus dear reader we reach the conclusion of my post: my friend and I both agree, since I'm sharing this restaurant suggestion with her, why not share it with the world?!?!? (Like I said, it's my first time and this was fun to write...)”

“I love the wine and food but the service provided here has been so special the two times I've gone! My first time the bartenders chatted with us and were hilarious the entire time. The second our server was amazing and educational and patient, as we had limited knowledge of wines. They even ran after me through the street when I left a flower I'd been carrying behind! So sweet. “The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!”
