Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

“Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. The food was excellent and the waitress was so kind in packing one dish separately due to a peanut allergy. We will definitely be frequent flyers here.“

“I visited Lucky Tiger over the weekend with friends, and wow — what an experience! The restaurant has only been open for less than two years, but it’s already a gem.

Ambience: The decor is stunning — very modern, warm, and aesthetically pleasing. The vibe is cozy yet stylish, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or celebration.

Service: Our waiter, Carlos, was amazing! He was attentive, constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. The overall service was 10/10.

Food: I found this place on TikTok and saw mixed reviews, but I honestly don’t understand why. Everything we ordered was delicious!
• Sweet & Sticky Spareribs: The meat literally fell off the bone — so tender and flavorful.
• Crab Rangoon: More on the creamy, cheesy side, but still so good (especially with the duck sauce).
• Dumplings: Super flavorful filling with a little spicy kick in the sauce. I personally would’ve liked them more fried, but that’s on me for not specifying — still delicious!
• Fried Rice: I ordered double chicken instead of pork sausage, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. 10/10.

Drinks: The drinks were just as impressive. Our bartender, Eduardo, was so kind and made amazing cocktails. I had a lemon drop, my friend had a dirty martini, and we also tried the Soju Aperol Spritz, which was refreshing and unique. Eduardo even surprised us with complimentary lemon drop shots for a birthday — served in adorable little glasses!

Overall: Great food, great drinks, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. It wasn’t cold inside, the music was at the perfect level, and we could actually talk without shouting. We had such a good time and will definitely be back!“

“I got take out poke bowls and they were both really delicilious. I got my partner the ahi tuna bowl on salad. He said it was really tasty, but the salad was just big chunks of lettuce and not cut up quite right. That was the only negative remark. I got a build your own bowl with tofu and shrimp tempura with corn, seaweed salad, avocado, and edamame with spicy mayo. It was SO GOOD! The person behind the counter was so nice. Didn’t think Downtown Boston needed another affordable Asian takeout place, but this one actually serves some of the best quick bites in the area. Despite being right next to the Commons, the sushi rolls are priced like grocery store sushi, but taste better & fresher. Most recently, I tried the chicken katsu curry, and it was really solid for the price. The curry leaned a bit watery, but they used chicken thigh for the katsu, which kept it tender and juicy without excess fat.

Given the number of students nearby, it gets busy during the semester. You can ask for your rolls to be made fresh, but even the pre-packed ones from the fridge were nearly as good. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for something cheap, quick, and actually decent around Downtown.“

“Found taste house after work one night with my friends, not expecting anything to exceed our expectations but we found our new favorite spot! The scallion pancakes, beef and cabbage dumplings, vegetable dumplings and crab rangoons were some of the best and most fresh I’ve ever had. The drinks were exceptional (we had the lychee martini and a French martini). To top it off, the service was excellent, staff was super sweet and attentive. Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

My wife says it was the best pad thai she's ever had. My son had the tamarind duck, which I sampled, and I had the kanom jean nam ngaio (see pics). Both were sooo good. “Thai Thani is hands down the best local Thai restaurant in the Norwood area. I've tried other Thai restaurants close by, and Thai Thani is the definitely the best! Their portion sizes are extremely generous and the food is always hot and fresh. The lunch specials are great and anytime I've gotten dinner from there, I always have plenty of leftovers for the next day. The owners are great and are fantastic chefs! My go to is the Tofu Massaman Curry, but their Pad Thai is amazing too! I would highly recommend Thai Thani to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. You will not be disappointed!“

“I love Takara in Medfield. The staff is wonderful. I eat here almost every week. Even during COVID, my family did take out weekly. This is my go-to restaurant. My wife takes me there as a reward!! The food is wonderful and well prepared. I think that I have tried almost everything on the menu over the years. My favorite meal is the spicy tuna avocado salad! The rest of my family enjoys the sushi, sashimi, and various maki rolls which I always help them finish. Korean inspired food is a nice twist on typical sushi. Great place with great service. Great bar and wines too!“
