We appreciate his customer service skills. This is the leadership we are grateful to witness. Thank you and your hard working staff at this location. We come here at least twice a week for dinner!“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“Really nice flavor on the carnitas and cabeza, solid lengua, and terrible carne asada tacos. Would say these tacos are smaller than used to (probably could get at this size and price in Manhattan which is saying something) so would just keep that in mind when ordering“

“Great food and service. Bierra tacos were great- we drank the au-jus straight as it had nice cinnamon overtones. Guacamole was perfect with the chips light and fluffy. The 3 tacos- were the traditional small one: the pastor had small amounts of pineapple - very traditional; steak (carne asada) was cooked perfectly as little strips and the carnitas has tons of flavor. The trea-leche was a hit with it's nice flavora. The margherita was flavorful and well balanced. The service was amazing- they gave us special hot sauce, not on the menu, when we asked for habanero sauce (they didn't have). Will go again- need to taste everything on the menu!“

“I liked the burger. Truffle Gorgonzola fries were ok— I liked the fries, but didn’t really like the sauce. Stomach felt a little funny after, but not sure if that was the burger or fries.

Food came quick. Space was clean and small but not crowded.

Parking lot out back had multiple spaces available and was $1.35/hr. There’s some 2 hr free spots a few blocks down but you have to parallel park. Some 1 hr free spots closer to the restaurant but those were almost all taken Saturday lunch hour.“

“One word... portions. For $17 I received 3 very small Birrea Tacos.
4 stars because the staff was friendly and the tacos were good but I cannot justify spending that much money and still being hungry. I would have to double the portion to be satisfied and I mostly write this review in hopes the owner sees it. I understand Cambridge rents can be high but... idk.. it's unlikely I'll go back.“

“Lockheart offers delicious, affordable food. Appetizers include yummy street corn and sliders (three perfect little cheese burgers). Great variety of their gourmet tacos. Their guacamole is fabulous. Always excellent, friendly service. Efficient and kind staff! Great eating at tables or booths or having food and drinks at the bar. This is a greasy spoon atmosphere and they clearly weren’t used to getting questions about the ingredients, but they dish out some amazing food.“
