“I liked this enough.
Went around late lunch so the venue was mostly empty and service was fast.
My chips and guacamole were the highlight. I could the beef birria taco to be dry (it shouldn’t be at $6.99).
Everything was slightly overpriced but one of those situations where it’s because of the decor and not so much the food you’re eating.“

“It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! 🌮✨ We had enchiladas and horchata, and everything was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is beyond amazing. The staff is so kind, friendly, and attentive.

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“It's definitely on the more expensive side of Mexican food throughout the Boston area. Nevertheless service had no faults, and the food was incredible. The Birria Tacos and Nachos are a must-try. Also, there wasn't a wait for my table but if you come at six or seven, there will probably be a wait.“

I have been looking for an authentic Mexican spot since I moved to Boston four years ago and I finally found it here 🥲 everything is delicious, the salsas can be made spicier if you ask for it, and the staff are super friendly. “La Victoria has long been a go-to option if I need a quick and affordable lunch option, but this past week I got catering platters from them for the Friday night dinner for our out of town guests for my son's bar mtizvah. Everything was delicious, and it was easy for people to mix and match what they wanted to eat -- a real benefit for feeding a crowd. Alex at La Victoria made the ordering process easy! We will definitely do this again!!“

“Nachlo is truly one of the best spots in Boston. The food is absolutely incredible, fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every dish tastes homemade and full of character. The owners are amazing and genuinely kind, and the staff is just as warm and welcoming. You can really feel the passion behind this place. “Looking for dinner options along Moody Street and this was an easy choice. I've been to Dallas and had a fun evening in their Deep Ellum neighborhood so why would I skip the opportunity to try it again.

Lots of options here, considering we have meat eaters, pescatarians and kosher eaters in the group tonight. We started off with a plate of their pickles and they were fabulous. With it, beers! Including a draft German beer for me and a tin of a non-alcoholic for Mrs. K.

For main, I chose the Italian sandwich and it was fabulous. Well loaded and very tasty if perhaps a little messy. But that's what napkins are for. Mrs. K. chose the grilled cheese and said it was excellent.

Great service here and we had a fabulous evening. Five stars!“

“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.“
