“So, last night I needed to have a business meeting with a business partner that wanted to stay out of downtown after working all day in the city. We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. Check them out (in between food truck visits)!“

I don't like avocado or shrimp, so finding menus that give other options is hard. This one hits a home run for other options with crab, tuna, and lobster! “After riding bikes over the Henderson Bridge from Providence, we stopped in for lunch. There wasn’t a bike rack, but there was a long fence next to the parking lot that made locking up the bikes easy.

We each ordered the blue plate, which looking around the restaurant, seems to be a popular choice among diners. The server allowed us to substitute tenders in place of the fried thigh and drumstick for the blue plate. I ordered my tenders with the honey Cholula flavor and blue cheese sauce. My partner ordered the Nashville hot flavor with truffle mayo. Both were great, but I’d recommend ordering the Nashville hot or Spicy flavors with blue cheese in retrospect.

For sides, we tried the collard greens, cheesy cheddar grits, corn bread with honey butter, and pulled pork baked beans. All were very good. The cornbread was a good choice because it can serve as a dessert at the end of the meal. The grits and baked beans were both excellent as spreads in the Texas toast that comes with the blue plate. If you order the collard greens, note that it has a pretty intense (almost smoky) flavor and lots of bacon, so be sure that you like both. The creamed corn sweet potato tater tots were popular choices among other customers while we were there.

This is the perfect restaurant if you’re in the mood for fried chicken and Southern food. Bring your appetite because the food is filling; I was glad to hop back on our bikes and do some more exercise after lunch!“

“Our first time to the restaurant for brunch. the menu attracted us because of the authenticity of the offerings, especially the varenika, which is a very old recipe that's almost lost and forgotten. “Was there last night with family! Had a great time, yummy food & delicious drinks😉 I had two spicy margaritas 🥵with just the right amount of heat. The brisket melt with the homemade fries that I have to say were the best 🥰. The slaw on the melt was very tasty too😋 All in all the food was very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they had!! “We have been to Bandidos a LOT and we have always had an amazing experience. The food is wonderful, the drinks are delicious and the staff is so warm and friendly. I have yet to order the same thing twice, and everything has been delicious! We just used them as a caterer for an event and it was flawless, the portions were plentiful and everything was SO GOOD! They made it effortless, they set everything up for us and everyone had been raving about it! Bandidos will be the first place I go to for all of my catering needs in the future!“

“So I have to say I am really pleased that Diego’s has got its groove back. I was there in June for a disastrous brunch and we left aft 45 minutes of a really bad experience. I mention this as the owner must have cleaned house. I was there on Sunday for brunch and I can not help but to describe the experience as phenomenal. The service - impeccable. It was almost as if the waitress knew when our drinks were almost empty every time. She also had some great recommendations related to the food and drinks. The food - phenomenal. We had the crack fries as an appetizer and it was not only great but the portion large enough that I had trouble finishing my actual meal. And the special - I had the Chicken Benedict. The only thing I can say bad about it was it was so big I couldn’t finish it. Everything about it was perfect - it had a little zing, the cornbread was a perfect alternative to an English Muffin, and the chicken so good. So my compliments to the owner and staff. I don’t see my review from June but I’m sure they remember it and changes were made. We decided to give it another try and I will I say this without hesitation… this was probably one of the best brunch meals I have had in a long time. Well done - we will definitely be back.“
