“The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. Five stars, easily one of the best dining experiences on the South Shore.“

“After doing a lot of work around the house on Saturday we all decided to go out for dinner. Decided to try Liv. This was our first time trying the restaurant. Basically, food was good. Cocktails need work. Atmosphere was nice. Service was great.
We ordered the charcuterie board as we sat down. Good but it was a bit on the pricey side for what we got.
Drinks were subpar. Coconut margarita was ALL lime juice and just a hint of coconut and couldn’t taste the tequila. The pride day drink special was missing something which we couldn’t put our finger on.
For dinner we ordered fish and chips. Good except the fish was thin and dry. Fries were good.
The buffalo spaghetti squash Mac and cheese tasted good but presented as a plate of orangey brown pile of slop. We took most of it home. Yesterday I put it in a pie crust, mixed in a simple egg custard, covered it with cheese and baked it. It turned out delicious!! My suggestion would be to work on the presentation of this dish. Serve it in a crock or bowl with melted cheese on top or in a simple pie crust. The last thing we ordered was the veggie wrap. It was simple but delicious.
Will we return? Of course. We will try it again.“

“My wife and I visited Square Cafe in Hingham last night and we had an awesome dinner! I can't say enough good things about this place. Probably one of THE BEST meals I've had in a long time when dining out. The food...all of it....our appetizers, entrees and dessert was outstanding! Our waiter Jamis was the best! If you haven't tried Square Cafe, do yourself a favor and give it a try. We will definitely be a repeat customer!“

“Where do I start!? I am from upstate New York and visiting my dad and wife and made it a point to go to E/2 and enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere. Charlie, the owner made one mean expresso martini. Our waiter, Eric was exceptional and was attentive. The Chef, George did not disappoint! Best scallops I've ever had! Pan seared monk fish with risotto was absolutely divine. My boyfriend the carnivore, enjoyed the succulent and savory tasting ribs that fell right off the bone. Thank you yet again for the amazing meal and great service. We shall be back soon!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Oro. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so pleasing. We celebrated two High School graduates. One from Michigan who is going to Stanford and the other from Utah who will be attending the University of Utah. Everything went as planned. We especially want to thank Tatum who planned everything out for us. She answered all our questions and helped make the evening such a success. “I had the steak tips cooked medium but it came out well done. My amazing server took it back immediately and brought out a Caesar salad for me while I waited for a new order of steak tips. She even took the steak tips off the bill which was much appreciated. Also my boyfriend's ribs came out cold which was disappointing but they just remade his order. We didn't get handed the Valentine's Day menu until after our meal which sucked because it says the dinner menu starts at 3 pm. But overall amazing place with such great staff and good drinks.“

They have a good selection of fun cocktails and the Strawberry Coconut Margarita was a win for me. What truly made the experience 5 stars was the incredible service we received from the staff. Our servers were Lily and Audrey and both were so friendly, fast, and super accommodating despite there being a party of 40 they were also helping. I always make a point to call out above and beyond service because that's unfortunately rare these days but I was impressed and am already looking forward to going back. Thanks for a great evening!“

“My wife & I had dinner tonight, she had baked haddock, and I had the baked scallops. Both were exceptional! Best scallop dinner ever! I have a culinary background and I am not sure what they add to make their scallops & breadcrumbs so succulent, but I recommend this dish! Great service and prices!“
