“I always order pick up! I have not had an opportunity to sit down inside yet! I am amazed at how True North Kitchen’s food has high quality flavor and portion sizes! I wanted to try different dishes before giving my honest review! I have tried the following: Chicken Parmesan, Fish/Shrimp & Fries, Cole Slaw, Asparagus, Salad, Cheesecake, Canoli, and Fried Pickes! Not one dish was a disappointment! :)As of Thursday, March 28, 2024, True North Kitchen is officially my number one go to eatery in Weymouth! The ladies that work at the front desk are professional and super nice as well! Thank you all so much for everything! Please keep doing great work for your customers!“

“Ocean Prime came highly recommended to me by a number of people when I was planning my husbands’s surprise 40th dinner party. I had never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went in knowing it was pricey and upscale which was fitting for the special occasion. Let me just say we had an absolutely incredible night. We had a larger party and Yasmin helped me plan the event and accommodated all of us. The hostess was even in on the surprise as she pretended to seat us for 2 when we arrived. Anthony was our server and he was so incredibly patient and fun and very very efficient. He and Yasmin made this a night to remember and I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We were even given a private room which we did not expect at all and that made our experience that much better. The food and atmosphere were just so great and so special. We will be coming back for sure and recommend Ocean Prime to anyone who is looking to have more of fancy/upscale experience in the Seaport. It was perfection!“

We got the mushroom pizza (spectacular, good amount of sauce and toppings), the burrata pizza (good when it's hot and immediately after it is delivered to table, the apple salad (phenomenal, good about of sauce and excellent assortment of toppings), and the Caesar (classic Caesar nothing too special). But the item that stood out the most was the TRUFFLE FRIES. Best truffle fries Ive had in a very long time. Great fries and the seasoning was above and beyond. didn't come with an aoili dipping sauce oddly, but i was super content with the fries alone. super flavorful and had the right about of everything on it.“

But the real winner of the night were the two homemade cookies we took home. “It’s been a long time since I last dined here and it was just as amazing as I remember. We loved all of the food here—excellent and of a high caliber. We started with the oysters which were (I think) the best oysters I’ve ever had. They brought out bread afterwards with freshly scooped butter. Might be some of the best rolls and butter I’ve had too. The bread, lightly salted on top, was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The butter, which melts into the bread as you spread it, had notes of honey in it too adding an extra sweetness. Top tier. All of the entrees were stellar, and one thing I loved was how appropriate the portion sizes were. We finished everything and were content without being overly full. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection with mashed potatoes. The creamy carbonara was flavorful with the squash. The branzino was also cooked perfectly and came with tasty sides. And lastly the scallops had a great sauce and went well with the mushrooms. We tried the date cake and chocolate soufflé for dessert but it wasn’t anything crazy or over the top. They don’t have a pastry chef.Lastly I’ll comment on the decor as the vibe was quiet and nice with fun pictures hanging around. The back door is also connected to a speakeasy!“

“Overall, I would go to Moxie's again for sure. The service was OUTSTANDING. I really liked the bartender (I wish I got her name, she was medium height with long black hair, working on Monday evening, March 25). Also, I moved to a table, and our server there was just as exceptional. I didn't get her name either, but her section was the hight tops diagonal from the bar, against the windows, near the door. The food was a little over-seasoned for my taste. Instead of tasting each thing in my dish (the crispy tofu in the lettuce wraps, or the potatoes and clams in the chowder) I mostly tasted the sauce and the seasonings. Drinks were also very expensive. But, that's to be expected for a restaurant of this calibre in the seaport.“

“Outstanding food and atmosphere! We really enjoyed our meal and apps. We started with the coconut shrimp and lobster dumplings. We had the Ribeye Steal for two and it was out of this world. The vibe and decor here is amazing. Our only gripe was the mandatory “Kitchen Appreciation Fee.” I think it was 3% of the food amount. If I’m dropping well over $200 on a dinner and another $50+ on tip and taxes (state and city) don’t nickel and dime me for even more, pay your staff what they deserve and stop with this nonsense.“

Lenox Sophia American
87 A St, Boston - 10.37 miles

“It took me 2 years to get to Lenox Sophia and I am kicking myself for not having made it there sooner now! What a fantastic experience from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we waddled out with full bellies. We sat at the counter and what fun to be near the (sparkling clean) kitchen and watch the chefs at work. They were calm and coordinated even thought the place was full; you can tell Chef Mei has worked in Keller kitchens. We ordered the omnivores and veg menu and were able to alter the veg menu to have fish course from the omnivore side. I am super glad I did because the red perch was perfect with the light cornmeal crust (pretty sure it was cornmeal) and the zing of the perfectly pickled mussels. I can't get the perfect consistency of the celeriac course out of my mind. We got a special treat of the beet tartar. My mouth is watering again thinking of it. The cracker was the perfect complement and as a beet lover, I say this with respect... It didn't have the earthiness that some folks don't like about beets but I think it highlighted beets well. Basically, I think Chef Mei did some magic. You can probably tell I can keep going about the dinner. And I haven't even touched on the service which was exceptional. Knowledgeable, attentive without being too much (which isn't easy in a small space). Needless to say at this point probably, but I will be going back to Lenox Sophia!“

“Topline: Was recommended this place by my Air BnB host and it did not disappoint. Good vibes, perfect spot to catch up with friends, a date, or on hang out by yourself. Great food and service. Ambience: 5/5. Narrow bar area when you walk in that is super crowded around dinner time, even on a weeknight. Seemed like it was a lot of regulars who knew each other. Past the bar the seating area is small and intimate, perfect for a date night. For Mr. Solo Dolos, there are 5-6 TVs all playing different sports channels. Service: 5/5. Colleen was awesome. Super helpful in explaining different options on the menu for foods and drinks. Taste: 5/5. The fettuccine with their house marinara was so good. They have a special frozen watermelon slushy drink that was pretty good, although probably not everyone's cup of tea. Expensiveness: 4/5. $30 for a house drink and an entree. About what I'd expect to spend at a nice restaurant in any major city.“

My husband got the steak frites, ordered medium well. His came out rare. We informed our server right away. They replaced my steak tips but my husband was full at that point and left other rare steak tip behind. We were surprised to see we each received half off our meals due to the mistake. “Okay, so this place was sooooo nice! I think we arrived just when they opened so it was empty, but I reallly enjoyed everything I ordered! The drinks were a little too sweet, but once I told my server, they remade one without a hassle. I would definitely recommend!!“

“We wanted to show our friends another great place to go for a great view, food and service. We had a table by the window, the outline of Boston behind me. Our server was Sara as we requested her because of another incredible visit a few weeks ago. She gave us time as they were running late and did it with a smile. Her presence was noticed by them as she is always so happy, professional and made lunch special. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie and she said it reminded her of her Grandmother. Our friends had a fish dish and they enjoyed it. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Pasta. It was delicious, absolutely delicious. We had cannoli for dessert and they were delicious as well. We will be back and Sara mentioned the outside deck would be a great spot in the Spring, Summer and Fall.“

“We sat at the bar for lunch. Bartender was excellent (I'm sorry I forgot to note her name). Our cocktails were great, beers were nice and cold. My friend ordered the haddock and said it was the freshest fish he has had in a while and he absolutely loved it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which was also excellent. We both had fries. I enjoyed a wedge salad before our meal came which was also excellent. We had not been here in a little while and our meal and the service reminded us to visit again soon. Can't wait for the good weather so we can sit outside maybe. Thanks for a great place!“

“If you're in the area looking for quality food with great service, I highly recommend visiting Clink. I've been here for breakfast and, on a separate visit, had lunch. Both visits were equally pleasing. The burger was perfection, and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. Prices are on the higher side, but I have no problem with it as long as the quality if there, and it is! A hidden gem in the city, located in the Liberty Hotel. It was previously the Suffolk county jail, so it's a cool location to dine.“

“Very cute and cozy, and we had great service. Loved the menu options and our drinks were great. We had the brussels sprouts, pork entree, and chicken mushroom risotto entree. The food was good, but could have been a bit better for the price. It was definitely a cute place for a date night overall, with a pretty convenient location.“
