“Went out for suppa Friday night.Sat at bar and we had our beers and menu within a few minutes.Our cocktail server was named Emily.She was very friendly and energetic.We ordered the fresh cut buffalo chicken tenders.They were juicy, tender and pulled apart easily.Just enough heat to tickle ur tongue ,but not too hot to produce beads of sweat on your forehead.The Onion soup had lots of sweet onions, giving it a thick consistency and had two large croutons topped with Irish cheddar cheese. $7 dollars for this crock of soup,it was delicious.For entree ,I got beer battered fish.The haddock came out as a whole fillet.The batter was golden brown with a nice thin crust.The fish had a great flavor and flaky texture definitely fresh.It was so good.Came with coleslaw and a huge pile of fries.I saw a couple of pizzas come by me and they looked tempting for next visit.So over all it was a delicious suppa , service was excellent and the newly renovated place looks great.If you like to support your local neighborhood family run restaurants ,I would highly recommend! “When my uncle passed away, he left clear instructions that he did NOT want a traditional memorial service. He wanted his friends to get together and have beers. Joe and the other owners COULD NOT have been more accommodating. They helped every step of the way through this challenging time. They are incredible people, and I could not be happier with how the event turned out. I will be a lifelong supporter of Distraction, as will every single person who attended that evening. The staff greeted us immediately, we sat in the room away from the bar but honestly the bar was not rowdy, the sports on tv was load enough to hear but not blaring. “The food was very good! My salmon was cooked just how I love it. The pineapple rice was delicious and to top it all off a to die for desert! The Irish cream cheese cake was the best!“

“The mozzarella edges were really bad, tough as nails, tasted like it had been frozen then microwave and sat around and then got reheated. The burger and fries were good. Staff was friendly and it has a really nice atmosphere, all hard wood and plenty of seating.“

“Had breakfast here. The building architecture blew my mind. Thick old fashioned adornments round the interior doors were astonishing. Booths seemed to have come from a prohibition era bar. Chandeliers with soft lighting complimented the atmosphere. Can only imagine the feels come night time. Food was good, walked up to the window & told them so before leaving. If you're into Bloody Mary's, their house mix was nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking available & if you feel unsafe to drive, rent a room at the lovely Seacoast Inn across the street.

“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. I don't work for this place in any capacity. I found it a couple of months ago and I'm glad that I did.“
