We just had our first wedding anniversary dinner, after having our wedding last year at the Barn. We highly recommend them both. Also on Saturday dinners in the late spring/summer there is a good chance to watch there lawn wedding ceremony from the seats in the lounge.“

“We are an entertainment service company that specializes in small ensemble/DJ combos. We performed at our first wedding at The Herb Lyceum in early October and were blown away. First of all, the garden and grounds are LOVELY, the food is OUTSTANDING and the staff were all WONDERFUL. Everyone there was friendly and professional, and truly allowed us to do what we do best, and we felt fully supported to do our jobs. Often with outdoor venues, we have issues with power, but not here! We had ample power for the ceremony, dinner reception and the dance party under the tent, running some heavy wattage sound and lights. We very much look forward to coming back to do more events in the future!“

“What a wonderful spot to grab a meal. We had about a 20 minute wait because we did not have a reservation but it went by quick. The restaurant is a bit on the rustic side but it had a ton of charm. While we waited for our meal we were serenaded by a gentleman playing the piano. For our meals I had the small prime rib served with mashed butternut squash and my girlfriend had the turkey dinner. The prime rib was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. We absolutely loved this place.“

“Beautiful, charming place with lots of character and atmosphere! Very friendly and courteous staff, personalized service. We were in the area only two nights and ate there twice. Order quickly when you are there because quantity is limited, the 1st evening there was no more chicken pot pie at 7:30 p.m. and the 2nd evening it was the cheesecake which was sold out. The food is excellent, very hot and homemade.“

Didn't want fries (although my wife got them with her excellent haddock plate and they were very good) However, I wanted onion rings and had to order them as an appetizer and there were just too many so most went to waste. “We came for the first time on a Thursday at 5:30. We had a reservation, but there was no one there so we probably didn’t need one. Our server came right over, but I’m not sure who he was because he didn’t introduce himself. We started with two cocktails and a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp came out suspiciously quickly, but it was very good. Entrees were a Thanksgiving sandwich special and a chicken francese. My chicken was delicious! It reminded me of a deconstructed chicken broccoli alfredo that you can get anywhere, but different. I like the vibe of the restaurant, and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

“Arugula salad is the best ever! Shrimp cocktail is excellent. The Lobster Guacamole, Spicy shrimp & hummus apps also excellent. Best entrees- Short Rib, Half roasted Chicken, Fish Tacos & their burgers delish. Best desserts: bread pudding - unreal!! & their salted caramel mousse and fresh whipped cream in the mason jar- ( tip may need a cig afterwards)!“

“Went during Halloween ? and was going to enjoy witches woods attraction on a Saturday so we made reservations for 8pm and got a table about 805pm. And waitress was very busy we got menus from hostess about 15mins later. Waitress came to get our orders And we ordered drinks and food at same time our drinks came out 5mins later and the 15mins aver we got our dinner. All was good on a busy weekend“

“Only issue is this place is not handicap accessible. Very busy and service was excellent. Would return but my husband would have a difficult time with the distance from parking to building and then the flight of stairs. He did ok this time but doesn’t want to try again.

“I was a HUGE fan of Michael Timothy's and MT's Local Kitchen. My husband and I went often. I was excited to try Mike's Italian Kitchen. We LOVE it and the marinara sauce is the best I have ever had, however if we don't want pasta our options are limited. I also was VERY disappointed that you decided to change your caesar salad. The old caesar with the AMAZING dressing and croutons was OVER the top! Unfortunately now your caesar salad is like all the other restaurants out there. I'm hoping some old menu favorites will be added back and more non pasta choices will be available.

“Service was the best part. Got the lunch burger is was good especially for $10. Can't really beat the price thats what McDonalds charges these days and Longhorn burgers are MUCH better. Frys were a bit oversalted and they didnt serve very much. The booth bench i was sitting on felt like the bottom was broken and was pretty uncomfortable. Lunch menu needs a bit more of a selection too i feel like. Overall satisfied though.“

“As nurses it’s hard to find time to meet up with each other on a night we all have off, but we manage to do it once every two months or so. Tonight we chose to go to Lost Cowboy and I’ll definitely be back. It was a busy Saturday night and so we waited in the lounge area which the decor and overall aesthetic was great. We ate outside on the patio and caught a gorgeous sunset view. Almost immediately our bubbly and upbeat waiter Kiernan came over. He was positive, so attentive, and continuously checked in throughout the night. He even recommended certain dishes and sides which did not disappoint. My friends and I work the general public everyday and while we live it we know it can be challenging at times. Kiernan was so incredibly personable and we discussed it several times at dinner about how great of a server he was (something that seems harder and harder to find these days). So big kudos to Kiernan for helping make it such a great experience for us. Great food, tasty cocktails, great vibes and staff that made a good impression. Definitely will be back and spreading the word!“

This used to be one of his faves-not anymore. Place was empty at 5 thirtyish maybe 6 to 8 others. Service was slower than normal. Very disappointing!“
