“My husband and I love J&J! We’ve been going faithfully since they opened. They have the best owners, staff, and Chinese/Asian fusion food in the area. Their sushi and drinks are top notch. Most importantly the service is amazing. We got a few trays of food from them too for New Year’s Eve. Not sure if they offer catering all the time but would def suggest not only dining in the restaurant but ordering takeout/catering as well!“

I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! “Kevin, the GM is the best. I've been going to the Ginger for 15+years, and there's only been one constant- Kevin. He makes every visit seem like your are visiting an old friend. You couldn't ask for better service or food . Go outside of your comfort zone, and ask him for recommendations for a meal. I'd never order some of the things that he had recommended without his guidance. Love this place.“

“My new go-to spot for late night Chinese food.

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

“Pretty standard menu with Japanese and Chinese options. This is our favorite takeout on weeknights in Reading and always good. Dining in is nice, clean and the service is fast and perfect amount of attention. The menu isn’t super creative and leaves me wanting more options like maybe some soup or steamed dumplings but I think their strength is hibachi and sushi.

“Charm Thai Bistro is a favorite for my entire family. Takeout is still nice and hot when we get it home and everything is packaged with care. I can't get enough of their Spicy Crab Rangoons and would eat them every day if I could. Everything tastes super fresh and spice levels are just right.

“I love their pad Thai!! Ga grob is my favorite kind. It's a boneless piece of fried chicken sliced up and set on top of the pad Thai noodles. I get the peanut sauce to put over it. Their peanut sauce is also amazing!! Thick and creamy with a spicy kick. Pad Thai noodles delicious and sweet. Always packed up nice and neat. My food is always hot and they make it within 15 minutes. Place is always clean, plenty of parking and customs service is excellent. I would highly recommend that you try this place. You will not be disappointed.“

“Pho 1 has changed a lot and I’ve been going there for years. Last night I ordered the beef soup for take out and when I got home and opened it the meat was like shredded and not the same consistency that had been in the past. These are hard times for all of us and giving customers scraps is no acceptable. I will go again later in the year and see if they have improved.“

“We have eaten at Maki Maki over the years. Originally before covid. Skipped for a bit, but when back in 2024. First time back in 2025. Sashimi was good for salmon in the group's opinion. Beef fried rice was a bit salty. Getting water refills was a little tough. Understandable that it was a Saturday night. Probably will go back in the future.

The overall is good for Maki, sashimi cuts were small, but quality was good. Beef fried rice was good. Will be going back again.“
