“Went tonight based on a recommendation from a friend. I had the watermelon martini which was delicious. The artichoke appetizer was perfection. I hade the ribeye which was flavorful just a little overcooked. I tend to like steak very rare either way I would try it again. My boyfriend ordered his filet medium which was a little closer to well but he still enjoyed it. Our server was very attentive and hard working. She frequently checked to make sure we were happy. We will definitely go back.“

“Everybody needs to have a great dive bar. THIS IS IT! Long bar with comfy stools. Lots of seating and standing room along the other side of the room. Limited (but too limited) selection of beers and alcohol which makes it easy to pick one without taking too much time. Bar staff have been around and seen some shit and they aren't going to put up with you're bullshit. They are very nice and super efficient, but they have people to serve. The prices are GREAT, incredible for downtown Boston. I love everything about this place.“

Compared to some places going at 16 to 18
This place is going at 22. All before tax and tips.
Now what makes this place special.
The effort. Most drinks are nicely presented and decorated. The drinks are not the highest in ABV but not low as well. Average of the 4 drinks I had, will put them around 18% to 20%.

The ambience is amazing. Truly a realm of dark arts.
The problem is, they have a small space and you might and will wait for a seat.
And is worth it.
I waited for 30mins. No regrets.“

Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! We had complete use of the back part of the restaurant and patio. They allowed us to set up a balloon arch and backdrop for pictures, and several tables for displays and games. Accessible beer selection. Buffalo Wings were my ideal Wings style. Sauce carried heat but full of flavor. Breaded and it works for that sauce.
