“First time there and we really enjoyed it. This is not a full table service place as you order at the counter and they bring it to the table. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It is a little small inside but nicely set up. We look forward to going back!Parking: There were plenty of spots on the street.“

“This is a quaint and friendly coffee and breakfast shop with freshly made food, coffee, lattes, and other drinks along with pastries omelets and more. It appears to have many local regulars. My pesto omelet loaded with vegetables was so good but I had to take half home it was so large. There was not a crumb left by my friend of his French toast with strawberries and whip cream which was totally devoured by him!“

“Truly one of the best breakfast/sandwich shops in the area. I used to live in Amherst around 7 years ago and miss this place so much but got to stop in this weekend after a long hiatus. The breakfast sandwiches on a roll are so satisfying and the matcha is really tasty. Almost everything here is. Don’t skip the baked goods. And go look at their salt and pepper shaker collection.“

“Since I live in the area I have not stayed at the Inn, but the cafe definitely prompted me to write a review. WOW is all I can say. I got the Old Mill Breakfast sandwich and I can without hesitation say it's the best sandwich I have ever had! The biscuit is without a doubt the most buttery delicious biscuit you can come by and I crave them allll the time now. I also had a latte and their coffee is so delicious and smooth and tasty. Also the place it self is so cozy and homey and the people who work their are very kind and accommodating. I'm definitely going to be a regular here! Will add photos next time!“

Instead of the usual truck stop or diner fare, Upper Bend offers a carefully curated selection of delicious alternatives and artful spins on the usual breakfast menu.I had a latte and maple toast. My hubs had the monkfish toast, and we split a slab of basque cheesecake because, well, we were feeling decadent for brekkies.The latte was excellent, bold and strong, but smooth. The maple toast was perfect, because it was simple: crisp crust, soft center, and a solid maple flavor that was pleasantly not sticky sweet. The monkfish toast was amazing, like a reimagined lox bagel. The bread, pickled onions and greens all brought different levels of crunch, with the cream cheese adding a slightly sour base and the monkfish bringing a buttery mouth-feel.I don't regret getting the basque cheesecake at all. It was delicious. The center was light and custardy, while the outer edge had a more spongy cake texture, almost like two desserts in one. And it was lightly sweetened, not the instant diabetes norm for cheesecakes these days. Perfect.I'll definitely be back to nibble my way through the rest of the menu.“

“Pros: -Absolutely adorable exterior & interior vibe -outdoor seating -quick service -sweet and savory options I wished there was a chocolate pie option, but there were some other chocolate sweets available and I should have tried. The hand pie we tried had a delicious buttery & flaky dough and I think I preferred it to the apple pie. If I were back in the area I'd try another hand pie and one of the chocolate offerings!“

“Having just returned from a trip to Costa Rica a week ago, I was missing that flavor. Located in the Cowls District in North Amherst, Cisco's satisfied my cravings! I had the Tipica 503 and my wife had the breakfast burrito with homemade tomatada salsa. Both were outstanding! I texted my travel companions immediately to let them know about this place. The burrito was plentiful, and topped with cheese. The 503 plate of eggs, chourica, beans, avocado, toast, and FRIED PLANTAINS was delightful! Everything came out hot and you can tell the food is fresh. As this is on our route from home to NH, we will be coming regularly this summer!“

Good quality ingredients, masterful chef, elegant and classy service, all packed into a quaint little cabin feel in the heart of incredibly scenic millers falls Massachusetts. “We've been a couple of times to Bittersweet Bakery, and our party of three or four have always been happy. Today we came maybe half an hour before they closed, and they were super nice about letting us know that they will be locking the door at closing time while we are there, but we were told that we shouldn't feel rushed. Our food has been excellent every time we've gone. Very fresh ingredients and really nice breakfast sandwiches. I vow to try one of the coffees if I get there earlier in the day ... It's a lovely place with some unusual food and coffees and ... quite frankly ... if we are nice to the behind-the-counter workers, they are always nice to us. Not gonna gripe about the prices (after all, I'm the one who decided to COME TO THIS PLACE) ... all I know is it's a nice place that's a little different from the other places I like for food/coffee in the area. They use really fresh, high quality ingredients and I cant wait to go back. The only thing is I wish they were open earlier since it's breakfast.“

I used to come in late at night in college and order a pot of tea and study or read.
