A few months ago a when I arrived to P/u our order I was told a Door Dash guy grabbed/was given our food. He brought it back, but not before a couple items were turned upside down in the bag and definitely colder than when they left the restaurant. The manager was supposed to take care of us a few days later when he was as in but we got crickets instead. We decided to give it another try for take out tonight. (When we go in the much is more often then other places, it’s great.) My daughter’s well done burger was medium at best (1st pic), my wife’s MW was MR and my boys MR (2nd pic)were not cooked. These issues only arise when we take out. When we go in, things are great. I guess it’s insanity because we keep returning and expecting different results. No more take out for us… and hopefully for you. However, we will continue going in.“

Last Friday afternoon, I stopped by and ordered a French onion soup, which, as always, was delicious. But what stayed with me wasn’t just the taste, it was the way I was treated.

Mike was simply exceptional. Just minutes after helping me, I came back to get a drink, and before I could even say a word, he greeted me by name: “What would you like to drink, Miss Michele?”

It may seem like a small detail, but it wasn’t. It was care. It was presence. It was a choice.

And it wasn’t just with me, he treated everyone around him with the same respect, kindness, and grace.

At a time when so much has become automatic, finding someone like that is rare. And it deserves to be recognized.

I simply wanted to give back, in some way, the same care I received.
