“When searching gluten free friendly restaurants to meet a friend near the CT/MA line, Fresh Fields Cafe and Deli popped up. I looked at the menu, as I always do before making a decision. They had great coffee & TEA options and a nice gluten free wrap option, which I haven’t found while out to eat so I was excited to give it a try. I was very surprised when I pulled up to see this Cafe & Deli was in a gas station. There is a designated section with walk up deli and plenty of tables. I ordered the GFree Veggie Betty wrap and a Chi Tea Latte, both were excellent, and the wrap was HUGE! My friend ordered the ‘lite’ BLT sub, they also have a hearty option. I travel a lot, I wish there were more family delis in travel centers!! The food was prepared to order with local fresh ingredients. I did ask the attendant to wipe down our table, which he was happy to take care of quickly. I will definitely be going back.“

“Always love subway. Employees are very friendly I don't like how it automatically asks you for a tip if you're paying with a credit card. Those employees get paid regular wages if somebody wants to leave a tip it should be optional“

“The lunch I ordered today from Subway was really fresh. The veggies were very tasty, and there is a nice selection of sodas, chips, and cookies to purchase with your sandwich. There is a small parking lot in front of the store where you can park for free and purchase your order.“

“I really enjoyed my experience at the Subway Restaurant in Holyoke, MA yesterday. The ingredients were really fresh, and the restaurant was very clean. The prices were very reasonable, too. I think the last the location is very convenient since it's located in the former Kmart Plaza strip mall.

Parking: There is plenty of parking in the lot right outside of the restaurant.“

“For a while this Subway was not doing great but hasn't recently they've hit their stride again every time I've come here recently it's all been good I mean I know Subway but all things considered everyone is doing a good job and they have cookies here finally so that's a bonus and they have spinach back another bonus can't really complain!“

“This subway is worth going out of your way to compared to others nearby. There is a VERY sweet and kind woman who works there who very clearly cares about her customers. She has baked me fresh cookies when there was none readily available. As well as when she makes my subs, they're always carefully packed, and look picturesque. She was even thoughtful enough to remind me that the cheese for my pretzel didn't come hot and advised me to microwave it in a separate container---so thoughtful and sweet!! 10/10!!!!“

“There I was, freezing cold, battered, bruised, bloody, and limping down Mountain Road on a frigid, damp January night when all of a sudden I felt a higher power guiding me to the bright warm lights of this establishment. I opened the door I felt the soul healing warmth of the toaster ovens gently caress my body as the young muscular sandwich artist greeted me with a smile. His voice, soft but deep, was like the purr of a tiger. He asked me what I would like and I responded "A hug." and there we embraced for no less than 30 minutes. I felt safe in his arms. His biceps pressing against my back with a gentle squeeze that let me know that he would keep me safe. Once we broke from the hug he fed me black olives one at a time whilst I knelt down in front of him. The best part of this encounter was the fact that he didn't charge me at all.“
