“I am a huge fan of key lime pie and have sampled it at pretty much every opportunity. Each time, I find something that isn’t an A+. The crust is too grainy or crumbly, the bakery has added meringue (which I like on lemon but not lime), or—and this is the most common offender—there is entirely too much lime in the recipe. But the key lime pie I had at Caramel was exceptional in every possible way, especially in its balance of lime flavor. I didn’t try anything else there, so I can’t vouch for the macarons or other goodies, but if you love key lime pie, RUN to this bakery!“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

The service is impeccable—the staff are always very friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. You feel like they care about each customer.
All the products are fresh, made daily, with that delicious aroma of freshly baked bread. The breads, cakes, and savory treats have a homemade flavor that makes all the difference. You'll want to try everything! Especially the carrot cake with that wonderful ( calda de chocolate)😋😋😋.
Another very positive point is the cleanliness. The environment is very well-kept, organized, and pleasant for those who want to have a coffee on the spot or take something home.
Definitely a bakery that's a pleasure to visit. I recommend it wholeheartedly! Keep it up!

“There is a variety of bread that is most similar to Salvadoran bread and it is good but I don't like that the customer serves themselves and there are customers who are not very clean and try to reach for the bread that is placed at the back and that way they drag themselves past. sleeve of his jacket the bread that is placed on the edge, that is, in front and I don't like that. “I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“
