I called to ask if there was a way I could, the young lady asked the manager he then got on the phone with me straightened everything out very kind & respectfully. “I got take out at the Golden Ginger for the first time in years, the service was great and the food was all delicious and freshly made to order. I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli. I am definitely going to be going back to eat there as well as for take out. I highly recommend them!“

“5 stars but they dont have ANY WAY to order a combination of sushi rolls unless you order from the lunch menu during the 4 hours a day that its available. Like, come on guys just take the Lunch Menu version and add $2 to it like every other place does, im sick of walking to Mandarin it's like a whole half street farther away lol“

“I came to eat here right before they opened. I was the first customer of the day and despite all of the bad reviews, I thought this place was really good! The food quality is acceptable and comfortable. I dined in with my gf and the service was quick. I thought the staff was going to run into a few bumps cause they literally just opened when I arrived but they proved me wrong. Sushi came out fast and delicious despite there only being one dude too. Would definitely come again to dine in or even take out!“

“Pretty standard menu with Japanese and Chinese options. This is our favorite takeout on weeknights in Reading and always good. Dining in is nice, clean and the service is fast and perfect amount of attention. The menu isn’t super creative and leaves me wanting more options like maybe some soup or steamed dumplings but I think their strength is hibachi and sushi.

“Pho 1 has changed a lot and I’ve been going there for years. Last night I ordered the beef soup for take out and when I got home and opened it the meat was like shredded and not the same consistency that had been in the past. These are hard times for all of us and giving customers scraps is no acceptable. I will go again later in the year and see if they have improved.“
