I did a Google search and saw that Brother Ba's was pretty close to me and had decently priced pho on the menu, so I gave it a shot. Oh. My. Goodness. Im so glad I did. It hit that flawless balance with just a very slight hint of sweetness underlying the deeply savory, long-simmered beef base. It was clean and complex; the sip of this broth takes you to heaven. The meat, meatballs, tripe, and tendon were tender and added that authentic bite. The fresh spring rolls were just as good, although it kinda made me half full prior to the bowl; I still managed to eat 75% of the bowl. Yeah, it was that good!

“Pho 1 has changed a lot and I’ve been going there for years. Last night I ordered the beef soup for take out and when I got home and opened it the meat was like shredded and not the same consistency that had been in the past. These are hard times for all of us and giving customers scraps is no acceptable. I will go again later in the year and see if they have improved.“

“Good food for a reasonable price. Great quantity size. I've been getting pho from the H-Mart dining hall for years, and this has been a long-time favorite. My only complaint is that the last time I got pho, my bean sprouts were moldy :< Fortunately they're provided separately from the soup, so I was able to eat everything else just fine.“

“The food was amazing. I ordered the beef noodle soup bowl with tripe, tendon and steak, but my noodle bowl only came with steak in it. I had asked for extra meat which I was happy to pay for, but only got a meager portion. I then did order an extra helping of sliced steak, which of course was delicious! “I visited today for the first time and picked up a combo banh mi and a taro smoothie with boba. The banh mi was very good - the baguette was fresh and crispy and it had the right mix of vegetables to meat. The smoothie was good as well. I will agree with other reviewers that I'm a little surprised that a banh mi is $10 and is not gigantic. Maybe I'm spoiled or maybe it's just inflation but I was getting a lot more for my money with a banh mi at other places a few years ago.

I might go back but if I'm in the area again, I would probably check out some of the competition.
