“We had a very delicious dinner here when we were visiting and staying in Salem. The atmosphere was great and I have to give a big shout out to our waitress Rachel, who was a total sweetheart and very accommodating, as well as Tori, who took over as our waitress when Rachel's shift was over. This is the best place to eat in Salem and highly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood! Thank you again Turners!!“

“This chick had the potential to Ben epic unfortunately it fell a little short. The good, bread and sauce amazing! Fresh love dip. Had regular marinara on sandwich was was light and tomatoey really enjoyed. Chicken cutlet point breaded to perfection. Unfortunately, a little dry. Wife had meatball grinder and she felt the same way. We did go there around 4:00 p.m.. would try again. Oh fries were some of the best I've had in a while.“

“We drive 45 minutes to & from to eat at the Clam Box. My husband grew up down the street and I worked in town for 15 years. Plus my parents would take me there as a kid. ALWAYS consistent! ALWAYS delicious. 10 out of 10! Worth the wait in line at peak season every time!“

“Great view, better food, and excellent service. I had two other restaurants saved for dinner before a local friend recommended this place. I am so glad they did as the lobster roll was fresh and cooked well. It tasted perfect without overloading it with butter like most places do. The crab nachos were a good starter.“

“Been going here since the late 70’s. One of the best roast beef seafood restaurants on the north shore. I moved from Peabody to Florida in 2018 and wish we had a roast beef seafood place that was even half as good. I still visit Peabody once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. Food is still great. Yes it may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I think they are fair, everywhere prices have increased, I would rather pay a little more and keep the quality. Love this place.“

The homemade pastas that you bite into and your teeth feel that little firmness,😃, the flavors that your palate starts taking on, your brain instantly wants MORE! As you savor (and possibly moan a bit to loud lol) the incredible flavors of something as simple as carbonara, w/prosciutto, red onions & Romano cheese. Every visit, including take-out has been 💯% spot on! Mentioning take out, we recently dined outside, and watched the grubbers (grub hub) mad dashes in and out multiple times! We recognized at least 3 drivers, non stop pickup and drop orders, repeatedly! Thank you so much Little Store for your incredible hard work (when no one wants to work and think they should get everything free🤬🤬🤬) You are what America is built on! From the front of the house to last dish washed, you are all a generous team, so it appears from the outside. Great Job! P.S.Your freshness is duly noted!!! There are desserts, lemon mascarpone 🍰 cheesecake (can’t remember if it’s cake or cheesecake…red, red, wine..) Just stupid delicious at the end of a fantastic meal!! And I have had the chocolate torte or something like that…. 😱😱equally as good! I would just ROLL in them if it was acceptable…🤣🤣🤣so yummy!!! “Great pizza, have always liked the pizza here. Last night we ordered 2 pizzas to go since we currently can’t eat out. Place was very slow with few customers but the pizza was good, hot and ready when I picked it up. Order out people and help them out. Glad we ordered here for dinner on Tuesday.“

“After ordering we had a nice half-loaf of brown bread with butter.

I ordered the baked scallops with onion rings and Yukon mashed potatoes. The scallops were tender and cooked to perfection, with a generous breadcrumb topping. The onion rings were that perfect blend of crunchy batter and tender sweet ring. The potatoes were nicely seasoned.

My wife got the haddock sandwich with fries and a French Onion Soup to start things off. The soup came out with the meal and our waitress was apologetic saying they'd tried to get it to come out beforehand, but unfortunately they finished at the same time. Not a big deal to us as we were hungry and it took a little bit for the soup to cool enough to eat anyway. The piece of fish was large enough to bring half home for another meal, and the fries were also generous and tasty.

Next time, I want to try the clam chowder, maybe a smaller portion entree, and head across the street to Down River Creamery for an ice cream dessert!“
