“Feng's and Oye's restaurants has same owner and use same coupons. We ordered take-out and it was fine. I would not give 5 stars, but it definitely has solid 4 stars. We had vegetables fried rice and vegetables lo mein that was good, pineapple chicken rice has some spices that we didn't like and crab rangoon had too much extra stuff that was not needed such as lots of onions and not enough cream cheese. My opinion is 4 stars.“
“Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!“
“The food is amazing. The wait to get a table can be extremely long, but you can order take out without having to wait. The place is tiny and a bit crowded so I think it’s great for getting a light meal but not ideal for conversations over meal.“
“"This is not a ramen shop, it is a dream shop." Despite only one menu item - pork ramen (as of 3/24/24, modifications may be accomodated) - I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen was. The ramen is has thick chewy noodles with big pieces of pork. The broth is fatty with a few globs of flat floating. Per request, it can be topped with a healthy serving of garlic. The ramen was a tad bit salty, but I managed to finish the broth. The only downside is that it is relatively more expensive than other restaurants ($17 for two pieces of pork, $20 for 5 pieces). The portions are large enough to satisfy your hunger, I promise! At one point, the chef paused plating the food to share his background and inspiration for starting the "Dream shop". I will keep that information confidential for those who wish to visit and hear it from him directly. It inspired me to take the next step in my own life. Enjoy!Things to know:1) Expect to wait in line outside the shop for approx 10-15 mins at best. Seating was accommodated in intervals of 3-5 people when I went. This is indicative of how good the food is, but be prepared during the winter months;2) There is only one menu item (as of my visit on 3/24/24), pork ramen, where you can choose from 2 pieces or 5 pieces of pork (choose the latter) - this takes away from the headache of choosing from a list of items;3) Expect seating to feel a little more intimate - the seats are in rows of 3, with approx 6 chairs per row, facing the chef;4) Expect to be asked if you would like to share a "dream" - this can be something that you wish to accomplish or do within your lifetime, or the year. After your meal, the restaurant will have a moment of silence for you to share your dream with everyone.5) Utensils are self-service - be sure to grab yourself a cup of water, chop sticks, napkins, or whatever you need in the back of the shop after you have placed your order and are seated.“
“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“
“Great menu all around. Ebi has an assortment of rolls from your typical American sushi rolls to their specials. Any roll ordered should be great. The menu is easy to understand and the ordering process was fast. Depending on the time and number of patrons checking out might take some time.Very clean with a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the Somerville Role with an udon on a cold spring day.Parking: Must get a parking pass from the hostess/host or your car will get towedWheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and a ramped entrance“
“Miso soup was watery - not a good idea to serve this as a first dish and underperform. Agedashi tofu sauce was too starchy - not what I normally eat. The soba was average, but the yakitori don was good. At this price point, I would not travel specially to try this but might eat it if nearby.“
“Went here for my birthday dinner and loved it! Such a cozy little spot with plenty of options to choose from and an abundance of sake's to pick from! The space is a little small so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time!“
“This is an all you can eat shabu restaurant that has an enormous selection of veggies, noodles, sauces, dips, and proteins. For an extra fee you can get thinly sliced meat to cook as well. The ingredients have always been fresh and it's up to you to create your own tasty soup/meal.Unlike some other shabu establishments, you get your own individual pot, so this is good if people in your party have different dietary preferences. For example a vegetarian might want to start with a vegetable broth, while non-veg might want a pork- or other meat-based broth. There are a handful of broths to choose from. Or if you really want to customize, you can start with a pot of hot water and make your own broth using soy sauce, salt, spices, etc. This place tends to be super busy on the weekends, easily an hour wait sometimes during the most popular times. And during popular times you are supposed to finish your meal within 90 minutes of being seated. But if you go during the week, the waits are often shorter, especially after 8pm.Your meal is topped off at the end with self-serve soft-serve ice cream. It's usually a choice of vanilla or green tea ice cream - both are great!Vegetarian options: There is a huge selection of greens, roots, noodles, and sauces that can work with any vegetarian and vegan diet.Dietary restrictions: Your meal is 100% customizable. If you don't like the premade broths, you can start with a pot of hot water and make your own broth in short order. After that, you pick and choose what you want to cook in your broth.“
“They have lots of interesting dishes that you don’t usually find in a sushi restaurant in the US. The location is also great, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. They also have metered street parking nearby.Parking: Paid street parking from Mon/Sat during the day. Evenings and Sundays are free.“
“This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The fatty blue fin tuna is like wagyu of tuna (see picture). This type of cut is very rare. The place is not very big, with about 30 seats, so if it’s busy you may need to wait to be seated. Luckily the service is very fast and on-point. The chef (itamae) is super friendly and can create a-la-carte rolls.Super Fusion Sushi is now my favorite sushi place in the Boston area. Two thumbs up!!“
“Absolutely delightful dining experience at this charming restaurant, expertly managed by a warm and seasoned Japanese couple. The cuisine surpassed expectations with its impeccable balance of flavors, devoid of excessive saltiness. Each dish exuded authenticity, from the tantalizing aroma to the rich, genuine flavors. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit and wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.“
“Such a good quaint gem. The broth was perfect - it was so good that we came back for other dishes. The Cha Sui Don was the best I’ve had in a long time! Service was with a smile and efficiency. How good was the food? It was the so good you ate too fast and but your inner cheek type! Shall be back.“
“As hibachi / teppanyaki restaurants go, this is primo. The sushi was superb too.Parking: It's not super obvious from the street, look for the sign. The door is where it looks like, take the elevator to the second floor for the restaurant.“
“I recently stumbled into Pagu on a particularly rainy day in Boston (you know, one of those sideway rainstorm days). Covered in mud, I snagged one of the last bar seats available. Opting for my usuals - roasted mushrooms and ramen - I paired them with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the restaurant's laid-back atmosphere. To my surprise, Chef/Owner Tracy Chang had hand delivered my dinner! Her radiant smile alone was enough to brighten up an otherwise atrocious day for me. Chang's innovative approach to dining shines through in every dish, prioritizing creativity and kindness - a sentiment echoed by the attentive staff at Pagu. It's no wonder that Pagu remains a cornerstone of Central Square.“
“Quite simply excellent Asian cuisine. They aren't kidding when they say that your name and face are remembered. One of the waitresses, Sharon, is one fine example of that. She remembers our preferences from visit to visit plus she is friendly and accommodating. Do you enjoy sushi? They have great, fresh sushi just waiting for you to sample! Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!“
“J and J is my families new spot for Asain tasty treats. Jean is a fantastic owner. She makes you feel like family from the time you enter the establishment. Sushi was fresh and delicious. They even made a special chicken tempura roll for my wife and added it to their POS ordering system for future visits. We call it the Elisabet roll named after my wife of course. My kids smashed every morsel of food on their plates which is especially rare for my picky 6 year old daughter who just loved her fried rice and Salmon. Kids meals are adult size so it's a great value . I had two Scorpion ? Bowls which got me feeling pretty lively. I imagine moving forward we will be doning weekly at J & J . Jean and staff thanks for the wonderful time.Blessings,Phillips Family“
“Best Don Katsu (pork cutlet) place I've ever been in Boston! So warm and crispy, with delicious sauce, hearty portion, and quick serving. Price is budget-friendly (considering that it's Boston) relative to the huge pork cutlet, salad, miso soup, and rice that all comes in one. Great for hungry students who need heartwarming meal. :) The server lady was nice and friendly, and the restaurant is small, but they also have tables outside. Uber eats delivery and lunch specials are available as well, so would definitely recommend to others as well as try it again myself next time.“
“OK but like this is where you can get Omakasa without paying $200 and wait for a month for it!!I absolutely love the Omakasa here because it came with Uni, miso soup, rice, seaweed for handmade maki, various salt flavoring, and everything was super fresh. It was 79$ for my portion and I love it. So worth it!“
“My boyfriend and I just went here and split a few sushi rolls and the chicken Kara age. All of the food was really delicious, might be the best kara age I’ve ever had, and their lunch menu pricing is really reasonable. Our waitress was really nice and all the food came out quickly.“
“Chris is a talented chef and a kind host. He was attentive to our unique tastes and was informative on the decisions for each dish. His description of the dishes and how they paired with sake made the experience memorable. The ingredients felt fresh and special. Absolutely worth a special evening.“
“This is a definite 'must visit' restaurant! The atmosphere is beautiful- it's sleek, stylish and modern. But, the food is the real reason to eat here. Amazing! Flavorful! Well presented! And so fresh! Just straight up yummy! It does get pretty busy so there were times we were waiting for our server. I'd say it was worth the wait though.“
“Everything was awesome! The staff was friendly and punctual. This is an excellent low-key kinda place (food served on paper plates). There were contanst orders ready to be picked up. I highly recommend this restaurant, plenty of options to satisfy all palettes.“
“Stopped by for the first time after work today to grab dinner. Definitely one of my new favorites. I got the omakase set and there were no frills or gimmicks, it was just fresh and delicious fish. I wanted to get just one ikura order as an extra, but was informed that I needed to order at least two pieces of the same sushi, so i opted not to, but when my plate came out, they added it anyways! The food was so good that I forgot to bring it up and thank them... hope they see this! ごちそうさまでした!“
“I've done take out from this place a few times now through a catering app for my job and this place never fails. Despite the large orders it gets, my food has always come on time and with great flavor. I'm not adventurous when it comes to sushi, rather I'm very basic. I have ordered the lunch combo with the crispy onion roll, crunchy shrimp roll, and shrimp dumplings and I've also tried the spicy shrimp tempura and edamame. My favorite has been the onion roll because of the crispy onions on top that provide so much flavor and the crunchy and fresh cucumber. The shrimp in my sushi has always been crispy and the rice is sticky, not hard. The only disappointment has been that the spicy shrimp tempura roll is not spicy but you can fix that with some sriracha. The edamame has a fresh taste.“
“The food was excellent. The ramen tastes really well in comparison with other ramen places. It's a great place to go with kids as they have a kids menu, and kids utensils and they even give a cup for the kids, so thumps up. A thing to consider is that the menu focuses entirely on ramen there aren't any other options besides a few appetizers to select from and the vegetarian options are also very limited.“
“Great small sushi restaurant right on Mass Ave in Cambridge. Specialty rolls such as Sakana, Rocky Road, and Crimson are really impressive with a variety of flavors and textures. Standard sushi such as salmon avocado also very good. Great service and great sake options as well. Small space but very cute and comfortable for a date night.“
“They ALWAYS do such a great job with the quality, quantity and presentation of their food. Not to mention, their customer service is always top notch! We had a Christmas party and they kindly arranged the sushi on two big platters for us and also made sure the Uber Eats driver knew to be careful with our order because the sushi could easily move around inside the platters before it reached our house. I’ve never had a bad experience or meal from here. A regular customer for life!“
“If you haven’t eaten here you certainly should, it’s a hidden gem with the best dumplings I have ever tasted. The lady who owns and runs it is a fantastic personality and a joy to see for every short occasion. I would have posted a photo to show how perfectly crisp they are but I ate them before I thought to post and ate them far too quickly. The homemade dumpling sauce is such a compliment. Highly recommend going out of your way to make it here for the times it’s open you wouldn’t regret it.“
“I can not say enough how much I love Sushi Corner . There food is absolutely amazing. I have tried a number of things there and its always delicious and fresh! The individuals that work there are so nice and so helpful on recommendations. The tall man that works the front, love him! He is so extremely nice. I highly recommend this place if you want delicious, fresh, amazing food.“
“Good Thai and Korean dishes served at this restaurant ?. Their menu offers many choices, from Japanese to Thai and Korean dishes. We ordered Thai dishes, and we prefer spicier foods. They didn't disappoint they were very tasty, just enough heat like we prefer ? .Well worth the try ?“
“This is literally the best Chinese food restaurant in Massachusetts. Food is 5/5 - both Chinese & Sushi. Service is 5/5, Drinks are 5/5. The only negative is that it's so popular you may have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait!“
“New Ginza is a true polished diamond, I have experienced few favorite-worthy restaurants like it.Menu items are delicious, from Chinese American and Japanese (gyoza, shumai) to the real gem dishes: the sushi. All of it. Everything is super clean and fresh, always, and beautifully done, with smoothly delivered service from every server.Go. Here.“
“Nice little restaurant/bar off rt1 my son brought me here and I have to say I was amazed at how good the food was and at night they do karaoke ? where you can sing right from your seat it was so much fun I would Definitely Recommend checking it out with your friends for a fun night out uou won't be disappointed we had a blast and the food and service was great really friendly and good people. I will definitely be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Awesome local place. Consistently quick takeout. Or come sit at the bar for a drink and a Rangoon and a good time. One of the only lively places in Arlington ??♀️ They often have live music, and will let ya put whatever you want on the tv!“
“Authentic Asian/Thai cuisine. As usual, for many dishes you can choose whether you want meat, shrimp, tofu or just vegetables. Our food was very, very good. The service was friendly. Since we were the only guests, our food came super quicklyVegetarian options: For many dishes you can order tofu or just vegetables instead of meat“
“Sushi is great and very well priced. Eating in or take out is great. Fish is always awesome and the prices and deals can't be beat. The workers are always amazing to work with if something is incorrect and they make sure to make it right. I always order “
“We had a lovely waitress who was very attentive for lunch on Thursday, March 28th and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal of Boneless Short Ribs (Galbi), Boneless Chicken with a pesto sauce (Dak Galbi), Thin Sliced Beef Brisket (Chadolbagi), Short steak (jumulleok), Flank Steak (Chimasal), and vegetables, such as zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, and other veggies. We started with miso soup that was excellent, a large salad that we shared with horseradish dressing, and a bowl of rice. The Korean BBQ uses charcoal which gives the meat a more authentic flavor. The meat was thinly sliced and marinated before cooking. Korean BBQ grills are designed to be used indoors, and when the grill started getting pieces of food stuck, our waitress, removed the grill and gave us a new grill. There were three sauces to enjoy with the meat which were teriyaki, ponzu, and spicy sauce. We very much enjoyed the experience, and spent two hours enjoying our meal. My colleague is from Seoul, and she knows an authentic barbecue restaurant, and I chose the restaurant because of all the positive reviews. We will be back again! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal! Our sincere thanks!“
“What…?How have I not visited this small but mightily-awesome establishment a lot sooner? This tiny Japanese fish market is just a couple minutes away and I’ve somehow failed to visit them until very recently. I guess it has a lot to do with not craving fish for the last year BUT when the first hint of desire for seafood returned, their name immediately popped up in my mind.I’ve been back several times since the initial visit. Their variety of sashimi grade fish as well as specials in their frozen section (fish trimmings and fish heads) definitely suit my personal culinary preferences. On top of that, they actually provide a chirashi service (for a dollar) where they slice the fish you purchased and lay it atop sushi rice for you. This allows you to fully customize your chirashi bowls according to what you crave in the very moment.Friendly people, fresh ingredients, decently priced. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to be back again soon!“
“TL;DR: TAKEOUT REVIEW. Everything was so good! Ikura was the starOrdered takeout/delivery on our last night in Boston for our late night snack. We had gone earlier in the day, but their chef's were not doing ala carte orders yet (they had just opened). But the store has a good selection of grab-and-go items from sushi, to drinks, to other merch like soy sauce and snacks.FOOD:~Chef's Sampler (5/5) and Signature Set (5/5): each of these sets came with 5 pieces of nigiri, and they were all so good. Each of them were topped with a unique seasoning/sauce, and they accompanied each of the fish so well!Salmon don (5/5): came with a great assortment of salmon, all of it very fresh (salmon belly was my fave). But the star of this dish to me was the ikura and the cucumbers. SO DELICIOUSGreat quality sushi, great portions, delicious flavors, and affordable prices! Definitely a must visit!“
“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“
“Located near gate C19, it’s a great place to grab a quick meal during layovers. I got the Shojonator Burger with Fries and it’s pretty good. The portion isn’t huge but that’s a good thing (specifically in this case) because it wouldn’t make you feel too bloated during your next flight.“
“I have eaten at Crudo many times now and every time I go it is an incredible experience! They have amazing cocktails and high-quality food that is so good every time. I definitely recommend checking out this cute restaurant in the North End!“
“We love it here. The food is so authentic and spicy. It takes your tastebuds to a whole new place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a gem here, and the authentic nature here makes you appreciate their culture. Also, the Mai Tai is wonderful and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. The restaurant is huge, and we only had to wait once on Chinese New Year. We get the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Picked Radish and the Smoked Pork with green pepper. You must give this place a try if you keep an open mind, and truly want authentic cuisine. It’s simply the best! Thank you.“
“Very nice atmosphere. Service okay but need to ask twice as a reminder. They walk away from the keno machine too often and you miss your game. All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.“
“Just ordered luncheons Sushi fresh and delicious with a generous amount of sushi, miso soup and a salad. Also got luncheon with chow Mein came with wonton soup and crab Rangoon. Veggies were crunchy and light, fried rice was fresh. Good value and considerately packaged. Very fresh. Highly recommend this place.“
“The food was the best East Asian food I’ve had in Boston!! The wontons, dumplings, popcorn shrimp and ribs were incredible!! Will definitely be coming back.Travis attended us and was the best service that I’ve had in a long time! 12/10!“
“Gen sushi is our go-to neighborhood sushi joint. They provide high quality sushi with notably larger pieces of fish than competing restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoy the way they prepare nigiri! They have friendly and welcoming staff and we appreciate their early opening time of 4 PM.“
“Food was great for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Definitely don’t expect high-end sushi at AYCE restaurants. They have steaks on the menu, which is a huge plus. The steaks aren’t bad at all. Sushi rice-to-fish ratio is reasonable. Service from the waitresses was ok but the dude from the reception was a little rude and gave side eyes to customers so that took a star off. Maybe he was the owner or something, he obviously didn’t care enough.“
“This is my go to sushi spot. If you're looking for a specialty roll, you need to try the sakura. Hands down the best roll I've ever had. The restraunt is extremely clean and warm. The staff are welcoming, and there is often a pianist playing some music.“
