“Wow, wow, wow.. what an amazing place. The flavors here are top tier. You can taste the love in the food! We had the poul, cabrit, diri avec djon djon, and the Mac & cheese and they all were seasoned with heart & soul & it was all FRESH! AND THAT PIKLIZ.. PHENOMENAL. We came close to closing and we were not rushed out. Thank you for the amazing service! We’ll definitely be back! I don’t normally leave reviews so this just goes to show how great of an experience we had. Don’t miss out!“

“Food was great. Drinks were great. Service was great. What would have been great is if people didn't get kicked out through some back door to then have to wait in line again even though we had been there. Fine. You want earn more money by having people pay a $40 cover but maybe have people that are inside already pay like a $10 cover to be able to stay and NOT have to wait in line.“

“i will definitely be visiting The D Coal Pot again very soon. The food is fresh taste great and really good. I was driving and came upon this restaurant i didn't plan on going to this restaurant but I said to self stop and get a few Patties and wouldn't you know they had no Patties. I left the restaurant with Corn Soup Peas & Rice Chicken Roti Beef Roti. I also got to try a dessert I've never had before I don’t know the name of it but had Guava Sweet Potato Coconut and other things to make this dessert which was really good so I ordered 2 to go. D Coal Pot is definitely a place you must visit and get a meal.“

“It’s a really good spot with excellent organization and marketing—both inside and out. Their prices are reasonable compared to other nearby shops selling sandwiches and similar food. The sandwich is good—not mind-blowing, but definitely tasty. However, the customer service is a bit confusing; I think there’s room for improvement in that area.“

“I remember one day while I was doing Uber Eats deliveries, the owner kindly offered me free food while I was waiting for the order. It was a very generous gesture and showed how much they appreciate delivery drivers and customers. The staff was friendly, respectful, and the service was excellent. Great place with a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.“
